I had Bob help me out-- at first I was just going to rent one of the driving school cars to take my test because my home car apparently had tinted windows (? they're normal, but whatever), but I arrived early to the test and Bob gave me a mini-tutorial on the test himself in the spare time. I cannot overemphasize this-- HIS TUTORING WAS WHY I PASSED. My 16 year old son has been ready to get behind the wheel for some time. He was eager and excited. The moment we contact Mike, he came over to meet up with us at the house to go over all the paperwork. He was on time, professional and reassuring. The reassuring part is for me. The price he charged is on par with most of all the other driving schools in our area. 6 hours of lessons in 3 days. My son told me that he was good at Mario Kart and told me not to worry. Well, what do you know, the kid did alright on his first day. Mike was an amazing teacher, patient and my son felt very comfortable with him. On the last day, Mike felt confident enough to have my son drive on the highway. After every lesson, Mike gave me a thorough and detailed report. My son has one year to practice before he goes for his road test. He has been driving every weekend as Mike strongly recommended. They also quoted me a price for my daughter to take lessons and her road test. They scheduled the test. Then right before it they told me it was more money because it was scheduled in Newark. THEY WERE THE ONES THAT SCHEDULED THE TEST - you would think they would have asked me at that time if it was okay or mentioned the upcharge. They are EXTREMELY UNETHICAL.
