From the majestic Rogue River to the scenic lakes and streams of the Cascades, southern Oregon has something for every type of fisherman. Southern Oregon is home to a variety of fish species, including salmon, steelhead, trout, bass, and panfish. The Rogue River is known for its abundant salmon and steelhead runs, with Chinook salmon, coho salmon, and steelhead all making their way up the river each year. The Rogue is also home to rainbow trout, brown trout, and cutthroat trout, which can be found in the river's tributaries and in the many lakes and streams of the region. Other popular fish species in southern Oregon include largemouth bass, which can be found in many of the region's lakes and reservoirs, and panfish such as bluegill and crappie, which can be caught in the smaller streams and ponds of the Cascades. Southern Oregon is home to many popular fishing spots, including the Rogue River, the Applegate River, and the Klamath River. The Rogue River is perhaps the most well-known fishing destination in the region, with its abundant salmon and steelhead runs, as well as its trophy-sized trout. Other popular spots on the Rogue include the Lost Creek Lake, the Applegate River, and the Upper Klamath Lake. We work hard to know where the fish are and to get our gests to them. Come get your trophy!
