Now I have been getting full body massages longer than I can remember. This includes the USA, China, Thailand, Pakistan, and a number of other countries. When in a new geography it's always a hit and miss proposition. But today 90 minute experience at this place ranks in the top 5 on my list. Shery is a pro. Lots of experience and a very reliable masseuse. It's been 7 hours since I got the massage and I am still in the zone. Worth every cent I spent. First, the facility is fantastic. Clean, welcoming and comfortable. Secondly, she knows what she is doing. My body is in a state of Zen. Thank you Shery.

They are dedicated dedicated to bringing you visual, performing, and literary art events to the community. The art center features a cool art gallery, a theater, and class room space. I really like community art centers, especially when I have a chance to sample a wide variety of styles that local artists offer. The selection here is interesting, the quality is high, and the prices are very reasonable. I was also lucky to come in during their "seconds" sale and came away with a nicely glazed collection plate. I also enjoyed a nice chat with the friendly folks here, and hope that I will pass this way again.

My daughter wanted a frozen-themed birthday party and it was perfect. Elsa herself was there (all arranged by Aspen!) My daughter also attends Evolutions preschool and we couldn't be happier... Not only are they the cutest couple I've ever seen, they are the most kind, talented and knowledgeable in the business! They go at your pace, thoroughly describe each move, and really allow you to have fun and enjoy the process! They have a great foundation ("The Triangle") that they teach off of to help you grasp the basics and advance from there; ie basic sugar push, basic right side pass, basic whips to all the more advanced and stylized versions. It's also rare to have two instructors in the room with you, which is my favorite part! Nicki points out things that Doug might not see and vice versa, which I believe helps us advance quicker. They both dance with us individually so we can also feel how the movement works. These are the best in the business, no joke. Their skill level, patience, and ability to communicate sets them a part! They are worth every penny! I wish we could keep them here in LA, but excited for their next journey!

The positive energy from the group that filled the room and her insightful instruction is exactly why I like to include studio yoga into my practice. I thought I had found my new "yoga home." And then I came to Angela's class, which is why I urge you to stay away. Angela is the worst yogi, and quite possibly even a horrible person...and she owns this place. First, she didn't like my mat, or where I placed my mat, or which side of the mat I was using and proceeded to try to sell me a mat. Uhhh... Then, as I came into my first down dog she snaps at me to stop moving, so I froze. Then she proceeded to come and touch me on every pose! She didn't know me! She didn't ask me! She didn't know my body! To her credit, she may have assumed that I wanted to get really deep into each pose because it is obvious that I have practiced before, but after hiking that day I was a little sore/tired, and wanted to take it easy. I listen to my body and don't force poses. The penultimate straw was when, on my third down dog, she came and drove my heels into the mat! Drove.my.heels.into.the.mat. I flipped over and asked her to stop, and that her touch felt critical...she said "fine" and marched around the room loudly saying how she is showing us how to do things correctly and how important it is for her to touch, blah, blah. It felt so hostile! So hostile, in fact, that I rolled up my mat and left...after only 8 minutes. If you look at the website, she violated all of her own tenets. I'd like to say my story is unique, but I felt compelled to write this review after swapping Angela horror stories at the Thirsty Woman with some folks I had just met. So join Root Down at your own risk, and/or only take classes from Victoria and Jen. Namaste.

They have both cardio and strength class options and class content is constantly varied so I don't get bored. The cost is reasonable and is actually less than other group fitness options in the area. I tried other studios in the past, but ultimately felt a sense of family and belonging here. The instructors did an incredible job of challenging me while also allowing me to grow at my own pace which is not always the case at every studio. The Worthington's are truly like family to me, and I have made friendships to last a lifetime. Miss Anna Frankus and her husband Paul Frankus have invested their lives in operating their dance studio. I appreciate being involved in a dance studio that is committed to making sure that all their music is appropriate and costumes are modest for all ages. Miss Anna spends countless hours choosing music and costumes for each and every dance class. Sandy School of Dance expects the best out of every student but, does not expect perfection. The Spring Dance Concert is always fun to watch. I love watching the little ones as they are just learning to dance before an audience, to the more experienced dancers who are able to showcase their skills. I have loved seeing many dancers improve over the years into confident and talented dancers.
