He really listened and helped me refine the colors and flowers to complement our PNW October wedding while weaving in details inspired by our home in San Francisco. The colors were vibrant and beautiful. I had asked for a fall palette but didn't want it to feel like Thanksgiving, and he absolutely nailed it. He found shades and blooms that complemented the overall theme without leaning too traditional. The dahlias were especially gorgeous. The day before the wedding, I brought 20 guests, ages 10 to 75, to the flower farm to assemble arrangements together. I was blown away by the quality of the flowers and the care Paul took to make sure everyone felt comfortable and confident. Every person who joined raved about the experience. It felt less like work and more like a meaningful and fun part of the wedding weekend. Guests loved telling others at the wedding which pieces they had helped create. For starters Jami is beyond amazing, she is a fun, upbeat girl who knew how to take care of everything. She is super responsive to my messages and really flexible with times for letting me visit. (BTW her dogs are the cutest!) She was open to all my ideas and had great suggestions of her own. The property itself is gorgeous, warm and inviting. When I first walked in, I felt like you didn't have to add a thing and it would be a beautiful wedding. The property is beautifully landscaped with lots of adorable Pintrest-worthy touches (Welcome to the Wedding signs, ect). The view from the windows is jaw-dropping. I had a lot of family from around the country come for the wedding and everyone was really impressed with the natural beauty of the Gorge, and Maple Leaf really proudly showcased that. The venue is a fantastic mix of indoor/outdoor space: the indoor area is professionally designed to be flexible for all your needs; wall outlets everywhere, flexible space, great kitchen, and really nice bathrooms! Right out the doors is their patio area with romantic festival lights strung up. Our guests really enjoyed spending time on the patio when evening set in. The grassy lawn in the back is also fantastic, we used that space for a bunch of lawn games (that Jamie provided!) for our guests. Also included are two suites for the bridal party to get ready in, and that was A LIFESAVER. They also have pair of wine, which was super unique and delicious. Some of the trees had pears on them and it was such a beautiful evening getting to celebrate friends.
