Staying at "The Guest House" was a last resort for me, as we were visiting one of the four colleges in the area, and couldn't secure a hotel room ANYWHERE! I had also tried about a dozen bed and breakfasts before I came upon this GEM. Quaint guest house - completely separate and private from the owners home. Generous sized room with 2 Queen size beds full covered porch, with grill and right next to a horse barn,. Like waking up in a Christmas card ! Fridge stocked with breakfast goods, juices and milk. Cereals, donuts, snacks, you really want for nothing. Our host greeted us upon arrival and left us alone for the remainder of our stay, leaving notes to call if we needed. There was absolutely nothing we could have needed that wasn't supplied. Satellite TV and dozens of CD movies. A basket of books and magazines. Robes, towels linens... They REALLY have made a beautiful and welcoming place here. 15 - 30 minute ride to the 4 surrounding colleges. We will be back. read more
