I ordered the Family Meal for 4. This includes "4 Egg Roll, 1 Qt Pork Rice, 1 Qt Soup, 4 Crab Rangoon, 4 Teriyaki Chicken, 2 Items from Group F" (a selection on entrees). I asked for Shrimp Egg Rolls which are the same price on the menu, Lo Mein rather than Rice which I knew was an upcharge and a quart of Hot & Sour Soup. Upon arriving, they up charged me $2 for the Lo Mein which I expected. Then they wanted to up charge another $2 for the egg rolls (again, same prices on the menu) and another $2 for the soup stating that only Egg Drop Soup was included. I argued that the egg rolls were the same price and nothing on the menu stated that the soup only covered egg drop soup. She removed the extra $4 and stated under her breath that it was only $4. I responded that if they wanted to up charge, then it should be clear on the menu. I got my food and asked for hot mustard, she handed me two. I asked for more and she handed me one more. I stated that this is for a family meal for 4 and I needed more than three packs. She reluctantly gave me 3 more and I was told that was all I was getting. I left for the 6 mile ride home. When I got home, I had to air fry the egg rolls because they were not done and dripping with grease as were the crab rangoon. Both entrees were also cold. Please do yourself a self a favor and STAY away.. I got chicken wings and they were all terrible, bruised and just NASTY. I also got sesame chicken I asked for it crunchy and NOT a lot of sauce they just drenched the food. I went to the restaurant to just show them I don't want no meal for feee the lady said she knows about the wings the company said that's how they coming but yet she continues to sell them. Long way from where they started, food I ordered was dripping with grease. Drink cooler smudged with greasy hand prints. Don't know how they got the inspection grade. place looks dirty. I would suggest going somewhere else read more

Our family has been going to No. 1 Chinese for years. They have both stir-fried and steamed oil-free options, which I really appreciate. We like the Vegetable Mei Fun, only we ask them to add the spices that are on the Singapore Mei Fun (meat version), to make it spicier. UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT - and I won't go back ! The 2 previous management and staff knew me when I walked in as I got takeout regularly. This USED to be some of the best Chinese food anywhere around until the new staff took over. I gave them 3 chances after eating there for well over 15 years. New management definitely hasn't changed the grease since they took over. The decent food is bland - some things has an unpleasant odor - anything fried is undercooked and has an old grease smell and taste! We threw nearly everything away after this visit!! Every order, big or small , USED to be ready in 10 to 25 minutes, depending on how busy they were. Now, on a slow night it takes a minimum of 25 to 40 minutes. Apparently word has spread as they are not busy on any night or time. I know that you can get bad food or service at any given time, but in the last 4 to 6 months, everyone agrees - Drive to the next town for your Chinese takeout !! read more

I'm grateful for the option, on the surface, but the food is simply not good. I've only had takeout, and I've had it a few times because contacts in the area like to go. I truly would rather eat a peanut butter sandwich, an apple, or Taco Bell. The sauces seem very unhealthy, dishes are very oily, and vegetables aren't cooked to a very good texture. Maybe the bar will be raised in time and it will improve. Fingers crossed! read more

Worst customer service ever. I ordered takeout last Friday 2/13/15 and one of the dishes was sesame chicken. When I got home and served the meal, my family and i discovered there was very little chicken in the sesame chicken. Instead the dish was full of pieces of fried dough with a few small pieces of chicken here and there. I ended up mashing up a bunch pieces of fried dough trying to find chicken in the dish. There were six peanut-sized pieces of chicken in an entree full of fried dough. I called and told the staff about the dish figuring I received the dregs of that batch of sesame chicken. They told me to bring it back and they would give me a lot of food. I drove the five miles back to the restaurant (we're in a rural area), and instead of replacing the dish, they wanted to charge me. I decided I didn't want any more food for them and requested my money back. They absolutely refused to refund my money, continually repeating that they have a no refund policy.
