We popped in after dinner and bellied up to the bar only to be passed over multiple times by the bartenders. They clearly saw us, even made eye contact at times, but just kept moving, taking orders of folks who walked up to the bar well after we had sat down. It was the strangest experience of bar service we had experienced in Killarney. Once the bartender actually acknowledged us, she was friendly. We got our drinks and moved to the front room where they had live music. We finished our drinks, enjoyed the music and called it a night after one pint. The space has all the character of an old Irish pub and we had high hopes for Courtney's, but sadly it was the one negative experience on our trip. Overall, disappointed. Enjoyed the pint and the space is cool, but we wouldn't recommend as a "must do" on a trip to Killarney.

So it would take nearly a year going every day to try everything. That's probably not a healthy way to spend a year. You can always just walk in and order drinks (food available too) but curated tastings normally require advance bookings. But it wasn't busy so the bartender was able to spend some time with us even though the full tasting experience wasn't available at the time.

They had a nice spread of gins to choose from, from which the bartender offered various versions of gin cocktails and recommended his favorite gins for each cocktail. It was pretty busy each time we went but never had to hard of time getting a drink. Loved the vibes here. Everyone was pretty friendly. I just loved how everyone would want to learn about me but it was never in annoying way. In America, I might of felt a certain way but here it always seemed genuine. Some dudes at the bar chatted me and up and I had to stop the conversation to ask them about a drink they had. I had so many drinks that I don't quite remember the name but I think it was Green Machine? Whiskey, milk and creme de menthe...? Something like that. In any case, it was delicious.
