Had NOT repaired the sprinkler system they had torn up or the fixed the hole in my siding on my house they had made or fixed the fence that had been damaged or the retaining wall that had been dislodged by the equipment they had brought in. The cement that was poured for the patio under the deck was never finished even though KB Contracting paid the company in full that they had hired. I was promised it would get finished. Karsten is young and inexperienced, after promising he would finish the job and repair all the damage he did to my property he instead walked off the job. He and his crew also took all the cement I had already paid for to set the posts for the deck, 2 of my push brooms, a sledge hammer and a shovel.

I also felt provoked and threatened, because the HOA mgr. Kami, called me on October 16, 2024, she literally scolded me (as though I was a child) and told me that Nick, owner of Pure Choice, said I threatened to write a google review, which I NEVER did. Due to his dishonesty, I felt it was warranted to tell my truth. Pure Choice Construction was hired by the ACCU, Inc. HOA mgmt company for my townhome community to replace 46 decks for each homeowner. On 9/30/24 my deck was torn down. On 10/1/24 Pure Choice workers cut the underground cable line which disrupted my service for over 10 hrs. Although both the cable and utility companies flagged the work area to alert the workers where NOT to dig. Nick NEVER offered to get my services restored, he didn't even offer to compensate me until I said it's only fair that I be compensated. Only then he offered a small compensation, which I appreciated. It took me several hours of phones calls on my cell phone, (because my landline, tv, wifi and internet were all disconnected), and emails to no vail to both Nick and the HOA office. I took it upon myself and contracted my cable company, who requested a work service order for me, and was scheduled for 10/2/24. The cable company's quick response was due to my heart diagnosis, and I needed to have my landline available in case of a medical emergency. Being a senior, this horrible experience caused me immense stress, both emotionally and medically which should have NOT been my responsibility to rectify. I hope Pure Choice make sure their workers are skilled, experienced and licensed in the future to avoid this dilema happening to another medically compromised senior. They came out the same week we requested a quote and they had that quote back to us in 2 days, complete with a 6-page write up of every little expense. The owner of the company personally came over to our house and went over every little detail on the invoice, which I thought was pretty damn professional. Our back porch, aside from the painting, was completed by just one man too. I was pretty apprehensive about this at first, but oh man, John was just about the coolest guy a person could ever ask for to work on their house. Picture if you will a man with a long gray ponytail down to his waist, wearing cut off t-shirts with Harley Davidson emblems on them, wrangler jeans, 6 piercings in each ear and the personality of a baby kitten. He was a sweetheart, not to mention extremely talented. He thought of doing things to our back porch I'd never even thought of (that sounded kind of dirty now that I reread that sentence, but enough with the double entendres). I could just ramble on and on about how wonderful this place is, really I could. In fact we were thinking of remodeling our bathroom in a couple of years, but after seeing what creative remodeling could accomplish we were too impatient to wait and are already discussing with them when to start.. I called Justin on a Sunday morning and asked for his help. He came over the next day, Monday and made the repair. We've not seen any leaking since. Justin never sent an invoice and wasn't going charge for the work. I'm insisting that he does and asked for an invoice. Awesome customer service in a day in age where you don't see that often.

He even tried scare tactics by threatening to put a lean on our home to get more money, he had his lawyer send the paperwork so when I called his lawyer about it, his lawyer said that he wasn't aware of the several payment we sent him. He is a sneaky thief and we are in the process of taking him to court for fraud! There were more complaints of him on the BBB site you can review about some other businesses he had and did the same. People like him get away with this lying, stealing and cheating folks for so long thinking there are no consequences and then try to hide behind bogus lawyer tactics. Stay clear of him because you wont get what you wanted nor will the job be installed properly.
