Booking the cleaning was simple and Danielle was very responsive via email (unfortunately the communication post cleaning is non-existent). They are priced a bit higher than non-green cleaners, but I was fine with the price initially, especially for a deep cleaning. You expect to pay a bit more for a thorough cleaning of your house. The cleaners were punctual and I gave them instructions that I would like focus on the baseboards (we have a dog - they get dirty) and I also let them know they could completely skip the other two rooms, which to me means the rest of the house could easily be cleaned within the allotted time. When I came home, the house lacked that "wow - this is so clean!" feeling we've had in the past. I was stepping on crumbs, there is lots of debris left in the carpet, and there were other problems (see photos). To me, it was more of a normal weekly touch-up cleaning, definitely nothing deep about it. Also, on their website it explicitly says "no laundry or dishes", but they didn't make the beds, which I've never experienced. Seems like something that would be included? I'm also disappointed they have not responded to my concerns - most companies are quick to address customer feedback.

I would give Mitsy a 5 star rating and would definitely request her back. The other cleaner as well as the company would have gotten a 3 star rating. I am a firm believer in punctuality and think the company needs to do a better job making sure the cleaners show up on time and have extra cleaners on hand of someone calls in sick.

Bruni began to force us to change our day and time through misleading statements and mistruths. What we thought was temporary was really manipulated into a new time without our knowledge or consent. When confronted Bruni who spoke and understood English well in the beginning now could not understand English. She blamed and lied on us forgetting that we share information and see each other throughout the week- so we know what was said, what was texted, and what was or was not agreed to. It was really an odd situation and her cleaning crew members also became very aggressive and dismissive and began doing very sloppy work. This was a rental property that was transitioning tenants, so I needed a service that can HELP ME not need me to compromise my time, money and angst over whether or not they'll actually do what was planned. I spoke with Kathy and she was as accommodating as I needed. Worked out perfectly, a 3-person crew was able to come out within 2 hours of the phone call. Which was 1 hour before I was able to get there. I provided my garage code and then they started cleaning. 3 ppl is perfect as it makes the cleaning FAST. When I arrived, a 3-person crew was there as planned, they had a clearly marked car/van indicating who they were (I think they also had company branded shirts). They whore masks and gloves, cleaned all the usual stuff but also blinds & ceiling fans. Another thing I thought was helpful is they asked me if there was anything they can clean that wasn't typical. This is important because often times with services like this things go unasked or assumed. In short, as a landlord I'm always looking for a service that can help me. If I find one then I'm a repeat customer. I definitely will be because they made my life a lot easier that day AND the final invoice was within their estimated cost!

The evening I made my appointment, Maria answered the phone and was very professional. She explained that she was very busy, but found the earliest available appointment. I scheduled a 3 hour deep clean. Maria and one other lady arrived (on-time) and immediately got to work. She asked me very specific questions regarding COVID and the type of cleaning products (and equipment) I would like her to use in my home. She even took the time to organize for me as well. I was very grateful. I felt very comfortable with her and her staff in my home. I was able to work on other things while they were cleaning. There was a lot to be done. She took care every area that was prioritized. I even asked if they could sweep the back patio and she said she would if there was time. I was so pleased with her job, I hired her team to clean for my family and our church on a monthly basis.

Chris made commitments that he did not keep. They set up our property as their own Airbnb and deposited the money initially into their own account, sending confusing and mixed messages when they did return calls. We still did not have any money in our account by mid April. They rented out our property from March 2019 until possibly the end of May 2019, as he was not communicating with us and they did not give us access to the Airbnb site. During that time we were getting phone calls from our HOA about complaints regarding guests making noise and commotion in our suite. Again neither Chris or Jessica responded to our messages. And then finally I received a phone call from him July 27 after repeated messages from me asking him what was going on. Finally, he tells me, "Well to be honest, I stopped the service already because of difficulties with the pool FOB that the HOA had turned off, due to all the problems with the guests he had in our suite". And he failed to even let us know this. The final shock was when I returned to Scottsdale, a few days ago, our place being empty since the last guest was here, possibly May 2019, I discovered that I had been robbed by Distinction Cleaning. Two of my Comforter sets, several expensive sheet sets, towels, were missing as well as some miscellaneous items. I contacted both Chris and Jessica, initially thinking that perhaps they had taken them to be dry cleaned and just forgot to bring them back. Of course, my phone calls were ignored. I called the Scottsdale police and they informed me that there was nothing they could do because I did not have a contract with Distinction, which, of course was my own stupidity.
