Came in the morning to this Lower East Side juice bar. It has smoothies as well as bowls and other good stuff. No Pulp is a good choice if looking for something healthy but still tasty. Kind of expensive but not much more than other juice bars like it. They have bowls made with açaí as well as other fruit purées. Breakfast time and it was time to get a bowl. It's got a pretty simple menu to be honest. They have açaí bowls and they have smoothies. Bad thing is that either is expensive. It's about $13 for the cheapest bowl, which also seems kind of small. Got me the Almond Joy Bowl. This is açaí purée topped with almond butter, bananas, blueberries, coconut flakes, and granola. Flavor of things here is good. It's just kind of expensive for the small portions. This is an okay place if looking for a light meal that's full of nutrients or whatever. read more

I saw a Tiktok recently where some seemingly expert health guy was saying the best thing you can do for yourself is walk for 30 minutes and consume 30 grams of protein within 30 minutes of waking up. I couldn't tell you the guy's name or anything, but he was in a fitted black polo, had a mic in his hand, and was drawing "30/30/30" on a whiteboard in front of a crowd so it had to be legit... I'm forsure too easily influenced lol I need to get off that damn app. All this to say, I decided I needed a protein filled smoothie after my 30 minute walk this morning. I always walk outside the Orchard street Equinox to No Pulp's neon orange signage right in my face, so I thought it was time to try it. I walked into this little hole in the wall and ordered a large (20oz) PB Granola Bar protein shake ($13). I will admit it tasted pretty good, but I am a tad suspect on the ingredients. It was good in the way a bodega smoothie is good. Like yeah it tastes good, but is this really good for me? I'll probably get blasted for this take, but they didn't have anything on their menu that was marketed as organic or made with Vegan protein, which I thought was a bit of a red flag for the rest of the ingredients. I just prefer quality ingredients in a smoothie. Also, their menu online has the large smoothie price at $11.95, but they need to update that as it is $13 in store. $13 kinda crazy for a mid smoothie, I don't know. I am admittedly picky with my smoothies to be fair... and the girl taking my order and making the smoothie was nice as hell. No Pupp is a cleverly named, run of the mill smoothie + bowl joint. Not to say they don't offer a good selection of protein, healthy and tasty options, but there wasn't anything you couldn't find at a fruit bowl place on the next street over. You can easily miss seeing No Pulp unless you go looking for it. I visited them as I couldn't find a Juice Press in the neighborhood. They have smoothies, juices and açaí bowls. I got the Fit bowl for lunch. It was deceptively small. But denser than the Juice Press bowls. And tastier. The only criticism is some of the ingredients still had a frozen consistency. The premium pricing ($14 plus tips) could help keep them afloat or drive customers away ... remains to be seen. Clearly they are going after repeat customers (hence the loyalty program). As you can see i'm infatuated with this place for so many reasons. Convenience- To start off this place is very convenient, although it is local for me since i live nearby the train station and bus is near. Employees do an outstanding job keeping the establishment cleaned and organized. Customer Service- I've been coming here almost daily for the past month and every single time I come in all the employees (even on different shifts) greet me with a smile and welcome me. They really take their time to get to know their clientele which is partially why i love to come here. I have to admit, even though the food may be delicious, what keeps me coming back is the excellent customer service. The manager is very attentive, friendly and helpful. I'm huge on customer service i wish every establishment can learn from this place. Quality/Quantity- As i'm learning more about my body since i suffer from chronic gastritis is very crucial that i find the right places to fulfill my appetite, with that being said i can sometimes be a picky eater. I was mainly looking for a place with fresh ingredients, no preservatives, no refine sugar, and most importantly something suitably healthy and light on the stomach. When I first tasted their fruit bowl it was as if i was unlocking new taste buds lol. It's more than delicious, filling, and fruitful. Although i haven't tasted everything on the menu just know i LOVE their fruit bowls. Btw, today i decided to taste the pistachio chia pudding for the first time- that first bite my eyes just lit up - def 10/10. It's right across from the equinox on orchard, which I frequent, and it's sooo nice to have a good smoothie spot directly across the street! 10% off if you're a gym member, yay perks! I tried the Cleanse Your Soul smoothie and it was so creamy and filling, and I got the small! The overnight oats are so good, really recommend that one. But they keep getting my coffee order wrong , first time I asked for iced latte with oat milk, she gave me iced Americano but she fixed it . Second time I asked for iced latte with oat milk, she gave me hot coffee, I still let it go because it was little busy, third time I asked for iced latte with hazelnut syrup and they forgot the syrup. The coffee tasted like water downed. I know it's not a big deal but it's little annoying getting it wrong multiples times and I'm just wasting my money.
