    1. Strawberry, Blueberry, Banana Smoothie
    Brandon L.

My wife and I were craving a fresh fruit smoothie... particularly we had a strawberry smoothie with boba in mind (we order one like this at a Vietnamese restaurant back home in California). When we saw this place's menu online we had to stop by. They were super friendly, just two guys behind the counter of a really small shop - just a little room to stand and order plus an ATM since they are cash-only. Service was friendly waiting for us to decide on our order and then amazingly fast, like less than a minute for the smoothie to be ready. We ordered the strawberry, banana, and blueberry smoothie and added boba for a total of $9.50. The boba was $0.50 and we got a large because it was only an extra $1. Definitely support this shop!

Smoothie was delicious! Workers are very nice. It is cash only so be aware before you come.

A great spot for a refreshing smoothie. Though, be prepared that this place only accepts cash (I believe you can order online through grubhub or other food service apps). The price of the smoothie was pretty fair (I think $7). I got a mango passionfruit smoothie which I really enjoyed. I liked the fresh fruit flavor and the consistency of the smoothie. I would recommend coming here if you're ever in search of a refreshing drink. There is plenty of variety and options for flavors and types of drinks.

Should've been visited this place. Great boba drinks but cash only. There's options to choose from with variety. Not much to say if you have cash, on a warm day, stop in!

Their açaí bowls are the best I've ever had and the price is worth it. They're also very nice people. I feel at peace whenever I walk in.

This is probably the best boba I've had so far in nyc. Granted, I've only tried two other spots and one of them was Grace Street which I don't like and also don't understand the hype. The price was fair unlike other boba shops and size was big compared to other boba shops. I wish we could change the sweetness levels but they don't do that apparently and if you say you want to, the cashier will say that he/she will do their best to make it less sweet. I thought the drink itself was nice and creamy plus not too sweet. If I'm back in the area I'll come back.

Nice little hidden treasure. Great smoothies made to order. With a huge list of over 50 drinks to choose from, you'll have plenty of options to try. Located in the L.E.S area , this place looks prehistoric on the inside but with a sense of cleanliness and quality as well. Definitely a go to spot for some healthy stuff.

Taro slush medium (not on the menu but they can make it)

Grand opening special $3 for any medium size!! You can get milk tea, coffee, & fruit smoothies (with or without milk) from this new bubble tea shop! As i always do at bubble tea shops, i asked them if they can make me a taro milk tea slush even though it's not on the menu & they were nice enough to accommodate! --- taro slush: the ice was blended finely just as I like but it had a bit of a powdery texture ---milk tea: not a fan of these, I've tried black milk tea and almond milk tea ---jasmine green tea: not bad, you can customize the sweetness level only one counter for seating inside!! CASH ONLY

    Sweet spin - delicious

This smoothie place got me like Whoa! Came here during my lunch break...can not believe I didn't try this place sooner! I am so impressed with the selections that I will have to come back for more when I am lazy to do it myself at home. It did honestly take me 10 min to figure out what I wanted since there was so many types of drinks you can order. WARNING: Cash only! Medium: $5 (2016) -Price is a steal compared to the over priced liquiteria (don't get me wrong, that place is bomb, just expensive) 1) Sweet spin -Mango, kale, spinach, pineapple, lychee -This was delicious! It was so fresh and you can really taste the lychee. -I didn't know how I would feel with the lychee, but it definitely adds flavor. I usually make this combo at home and its always on the sour side, but the lychee gave it a sweet taste. -Definitely going to add lychee to my smoothie recipe after trying this here. ON THE TO DO LIST: -I need to come back to try their boba/bubble tea/tapioca (how ever you all like to call it, boba and tapioca is the west coast term) Oh...and they have this "no picture taking" sign....maybe you can get away with taking one when they aren't looking =).

    Rio Açaí Bowl.

Convenient local spot next to Stuytown for juices, smoothies, bubble tea, and açaí bowls! They have a wide variety of flavors for everything. The shop itself is a bit on the small side, with only about three seats, so most people grab and go. The staff is always extremely friendly and helpful with your order. Keep in mind, this place is cash only! I really like their Rio Açaí Bowl, which comes topped with banana, granola, blueberries, and strawberries with a sprinkle of chia seeds. They give a nice helping of fruit on top, which I really appreciate. They also make everything fresh when you order - you can see them preparing the bowls and drinks. I would always get a bowl post-workout. Their bubble teas are also quite tasty. They also let you substitute regular milk for almond milk!

They didn't have Boba. I asked for no ice and drink came full of ice. And matcha was pasty due to ice. Bad experience for over priced drink.

I've never been to a yogurt store that makes you pay a set price first before selecting toppings, which also means toppings are limited based on the yogurt size (something I only realized later after looking at a picture I took in the store). The employee who was supposed to help me immediately gave me attitude, as if I was supposed to already know all the "rules" of the store. I said nothing that would have warranted that reaction -- I simply went over to the display. At the register, I scanned my rewards app then couldn't find the card reader to pay. After about 20 seconds, I realized it was sitting on top of a case of water bottles (pictured). The topping limit signage was also placed off to the side of the register where customers wouldn't naturally see it -- it wasn't even on my side and was partially blocked. I only found this out when I went up to the counter after I got my yogurt. While choosing toppings, I asked how many I was allowed, and she responded, "How many toppings do you think you're supposed to choose?" with a noticeably rude tone. When I chose cookie dough as my fourth topping, she only gave me a few pieces, dropped another on the counter (pictured), and ignored it. The cookie dough topping was stale too. I also noticed she did not seem to treat other customers the same way. I eventually went back to the register - I asked her if the yogurt was actually strawberry matcha because it tasted like vanilla. I also asked about her rudeness because I genuinely didn't understand why I was being treated that way for asking simple questions. She said the information was "on the wall," even though it was difficult to see. I actually ended up apologizing earlier because she made me feel like I was burdening her. The only personable thing she said the entire interaction was that I didn't need to apologize, but the tone still felt unfriendly. Two customers sitting nearby ended up leaving without ordering. I understand it was Super Bowl Sunday and she appeared to be working alone, which may have contributed to stress. Still, I left feeling extremely shaken and even spilled yogurt on my jacket afterward. I would not return to this location. I used to come to this location sometimes, but after this experience -- and a previous visit where I ordered a tea and received very little -- I would not return.

Ahh, grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my childhood favorite dessert and summons nostalgia! It is my mission to search for bubble tea businesses that offers grass jelly as a topping for my primary reason to patronize. It was abundant which filled one quarter of my medium sized drink. The grass jelly topping is New York City standard priced at $0.50 at least there is sustainability and a sense of normalcy. I requested regular ice, but the entire ice dispensed disappointedly melted and the drink became room temperate. Heat wave medium $6.00 Passionfruit green tea with grass jelly, 50%, light sugar. The drink alone was good quality. While scanning the electronic menu the drink names appear very comical and not business appropriate as well as this bubble tea business name Ho Ho Te. The sound speakers is boisterously loud blasting music directly at my face by the ordering counter. The cashier associate was 90% inaudible of her customer service questions due to the boisterously loud blasting music as I had to fight loud vs. loud by blurting loudly several times: "WHAT?" Why would a business intentionally place sound speakers in front of a ordering counter station where customers must communicate their food/drink orders? How can customers place their drinks orders with clear specific description/instructions only for the cashier associate to inadvertently obfuscate by misinformation because the message conveyed was utterly misinterpreted? Communication is vital for ordering and order fulfillment accuracy in the food service industry! The cardboard paper straws available are environmentally sustainable friendly for biodegradable and compostable. However, these cardboard straws taste AWFULl!! The drink selection is very limited menu compared with other bubble tea competitors. Disappointedly there is no Jasmine green tea on the menu. There are some food items. Takeout menus are available for grabs. Loyalty card is available which also serve as business card where the back is printed in gold foil. This business is very accessible by MTA NYC Transit at Port Authority 42nd Street's A, C, E trains and buses near the peripheral of Times Square.
