I showed him a picture, and I thought I was in good hands. Boy was I wrong, when he was preparing to go to the cash register, I notice that my right side of my hair was 1 inch longer than the left. It was very uneven. I had to tell him to raise it. When I got home, I looked at the sides and realized they were still uneven. I only trust Antonio now.

We had lunch next door at the Pho place, which is great. Anyway, my husband went back Tuesday at 7, as asked, and ended up with either a new guy, or someone in training, because his hair looks uneven, awful and short. We even had a reference pic of his actual hair from another time he had it done, which was great, and shouldn't have been a problem. The original guy who told my husband to come back was busy, so he got the only other younger guy who took over an hour to butcher his head. First, he was told to come back Tuesday night after work, only to sit in the chair for an hour, just to get a bad haircut. Crap customer service. Its disappointing because we had an important function to go to this week. Never again.

Jeremy doesn't just cut hair; he performs precision engineering. He could probably defuse a bomb with those clippers. Or start one because that beard trim? The shop vibe is perfect too. Clean, comfortable, and cool enough to feel classy, but not so fancy that you're afraid to sneeze in the wrong direction. Pleasant conversation. The shop has a great vibe - dark, leather, and shelves lined with spirits of patrons (you can bring your own and they will tag it). Sooo many hacks out there shake their heads yes when you tell them to just "clean it up" , then they proceed to practically shave your head! Well not at the Pennington Barber! Spend the extra $5 and get a real haircut guys. I'm talking comb and long scissors, hot shaving cream and straight razor for the neck.
