Throughout the representation, I repeatedly had to follow up for updates, answers, and strategic guidance. These weren't concerns I developed after the case ended--I raised them while he was still representing me because I often felt I wasn't receiving the level of communication or legal guidance I expected from my attorney. My biggest frustration was the lack of proactive legal strategy. In many instances, I would receive communications forwarded from opposing counsel and then be asked what I wanted to do.
