We finished a lengthy remodel during Covid. After receiving multiple quotes to repaint the entire house, we decided to go with Chris as he has painted numerous homes in the Woodbridge, Irvine area. The project kept getting pushed back further and further due to supply chain issues and Chris was incredibly patient with each delay on our end. His crew could not have been more professional. I was super hesitant about getting my house painting. I hate dealing with contractors of any kind. There are always surprises and gotchas. Chris Choi was fantastic. He came out and gave me a quote. He even gave me some tips and pointed me in the right direction on my color choices. I ended up getting 3 quotes from different contractors. Chris was flexible on pricing and because I felt the most comfortable with him, I decided to go with him. They required a 30% deposit with final payment when the job was finished. The crew that showed up was super polite. They communicated well and really seemed to know what they were doing. They used high quality Dunn Edwards paint. This is the initial time I've used this paint company and I would highly recommend them. The attention to detail is fantastic and they work hard and I couldn't ask for a better company for painting. We had some difficult areas to paint but they handled those areas without any issues. They gave us two coats of paint and even three in areas that needed sprucing up. We had a situation where the stucco was painted by a builder with a manufacturer that isn't your standard Dunn-Edwards. We didn't like the association colors which are now way darker than when we bought the house so opted for the original colors. Chris did an amazing job of color matching it. He had a couple of crews - one just prepped while another painted. They did a nice job all around, and I'm super picky when it comes to the finish and how it looks. His crew also had to do a lot of repair work which came out looking great! There were a couple of minor areas that I flagged, which Chris had his crew come back and touch up. Recently I had the misfortune of a slab leak, and had to have the house repiped with Pex piping. Now comes the fun of finding a painter to finish the final paint job and touch ups ALL over the house. The work performed by this company is below standard. I had painting performed in August 2019 and the bathroom painting in both bathrooms was peeling after a few months. I had to hound Chris to get him to come out and repair the poor work. He said it was because the has is old (1988) however it's clear the proper prep work was not performed ( scraping, primer, waiting before the primer dried, ) . We had Chris and crew come out and do our exterior in 2019 and then had then return to do the interior in 2021. They did a great job and were very friendly. I was not sure on the house color and they suggested a green that looked a bit bold to me when they started, but they were SO RIGHT about the color! They painted around paintings and nails and left hooks on the wall. They only painted part of the baseboards they said they would paint. They moved furniture which was good, but broke three pieces of furniture and didn't tell us. They told me part of the price was because they had to remove old paint on doors and trim so the new paint would stick to the doors, but they didn't. They even peeled off some of the paint to show me when they came to give me an estimate, and painted right over that. They just painted over the old paint, peeling and all. They did come back to try to make it right, but told me that they couldn't remove the old paint which didn't make sense to me. I am still finding spots that they missed on doors and trim. The paint on the doors is already peeling off if something barely touches it or slightly bumps into it. read more

Chris Choi runs Noah's painting. He's a very nice guy however that's where the kind part of this review ends. Chris runs a couple of different crews. He comes to the house daily but doesn't look at the crew's work at all. We have a large home and hired them to paint our trim, patio cover, garage doors and metal fencing. Contract was a good size, just under $6k. The only part of the job that was done to any reasonable quality was the patio cover. They practically ruined half our wood windows with a grinder. Only after sending picture of windows and treating to fire Chris, he sent over a new crew to fix the work. The new crew admitted this happens a lot. It took them three days. Part of our metal fencing had to be stripped with a power washer and redone (they left the mess for us to clean up over the weekend.). Even the garage doors (three of them) had to be repainted which Chris was not going to do until I pointed out the substandard workmanship. So. The bottom line is Chris is a nice guy and will keep working on the job until to pay him in full, but you have to manage the project and make sure his guys aren't destroying your property. The outside of our house badly needed to be painted. It's a mid-century house with lots of wood work. Chris was recommended to me by several friends who had used him to paint their houses. Working with Chris was a great experience. He called me right back and scheduled a visit the next day. He showed up on time, and I had the quote the day after that. We weren't sure about the color selection, so Chris brought samples over and painted sections to compare. He started work the following week. He and his brother were there every day with their crew. Their prep work was first rate. They put a lot of effort into sanding and patching the exterior and carefully removed the exterior fixtures. We have plants near the house, and they were very careful not to damage them. Chris had the house prepped, primed, and painted in a little more than a week, and it looks fantastic. Everything was put back where it belonged. My neighbor is in the construction business and was having his house painted at the same time.
