Absolutely the worst haircut I have ever had. In town on business and had some down time so I decided to get a haircut. I wish I would have read the reviews. She asked me what I wanted, I told her just a trim, block the back (straight across vs tapered), trim up the sideburns. Told her to use a three on the sides and she said no, I'll use a 4. I said ok and thankfully she didn't because it would have been way too much. The worst is The pic of the guy with the high neckline is exactly what she did to me. It is embarrassing. What makes it worse is there is now an inch at least of tan line showing and it is February. It's ridiculous. She also pretty much eliminated my sideburns. My line is "the difference between a good haircut and a bad one is two weeks." Two weeks can't get here fast enough. Stay away from Sunny. She is a horrible barber. And she has bad breath on top of it. read more

I don't think this is a real barbershop. I called for an appointment, but they only do walk-in...ok, I walked in and the place was empty. A lady came out of the back room and asked "same as last time?" I said "it's my first time here." She seems skeptical then says, "what do you want?" I'm a guy with short, straight hair--nothing complicated--when I said something like "clean up the sides and take a little off the top," she says "I don't do that"?!? Then she walks away?!? It was a very odd experience, maybe a somewhat funny story, but mostly a waste of my time. read more

Nope. Just had my hair cut here. Sat down and the lady totally disregarded what I asked for. She said she knew best and I should trust her. Now here I am, with my neckline a good inch above where it used to be and huge arches above my ears. Then there are weird sharp edges in awkward spots. The lady was done in 10 minutes, which is clearly reflected in the haircut. I'm guessing she rushed because it was 30 min until closing on a Saturday but that's still no excuse. Tell me to come back another time if you're going to half ass your job. Also, I'm not a huge fan of having my head vacuumed after a haircut. I definitely won't be coming back read more

I am not a man, obviously, but I do have a man who needs his hair cut. We found this place via word of mouth and decided to give it a go since his usual haircut place is on the west side and ain't nobody got time for dat. This place is ridiculously cute and the woman who cuts hair is like ten times as cute(seriously, I love her!)! Since we had been avoiding driving to the west side my boo allowed me to trim the back of his head to get through a couple of days. It didn't look great, but I wouldn't admit that to him. When the woman was cutting his hair she stopped and made a strange face and asked him if she had cut his hair before because "it didn't look like her work." I almost peed my from laughing on the inside. Afterwards, she turned him to me and asked me if I liked it before showing him, because according to her I have to see it more than he does. Preach! Not gonna lie, best haircut he's ever had. Ever. Men even get their hair vacuumed off their head and shirts and a mini massage afterwards, so it's a great way to spend your lunch hour if you need a haircut! She does only take cash so be prepared to have enough to pay and tip generously because she doesn't seem to have a lot of change laying around. read more

I've been going here for almost 2 years, ever since Donna on Juan Tabo went out of business. Sunny does a very good job on my hair and cuts it exactly how I request. She is pleasant, efficient, and charges a reasonable price (though not $5 like Donna did). She does not take credit cards, so have cash handy. It is $18 for a standard haircut. read more

Husband went to this shop. Asian lady did the service. We travel a lot and understand that barbers cut differently in each State. She killed his Western mustache. The haircut was nice. She destroyed his sideburns. She trimmed them into almost nonexistence and left hair behind to boot. Not an even trim. And he smelled bad when he got into the truck. She used a water bottle to wet his hair apparently. It left a really funky smell like an old towel. I get men usually just sit down and say give me a trim, but she missed it too much in too many areas to get a good review. In all fairness, she told him she does beards - not mustaches. I think we may be too old school for this barber, but the funky smell was not cool. read more

Bad barber. Trys to cut fast so she makes more money. I got an $8 haircut for $18! She didn't ask what I wanted. Refused to use scissors when I asked and looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language and she didn't understand. I had to ask her to make sideburns even! I will not go back to this barbershop again! The first reason is the price charged (cash only) for a haircut. I understand the economic hardship small businesses are experiencing but I felt the price was a little steep for a haircut. This is a barber shop, not a salon. It was my second to last visit that made me determined never to visit this barber shop again. So, the last time I got my haircut there, I noticed and made the comment how her price increased by one dollar. Her explanation for the increase was the cost of cleaning supplies. She took offense to my comment and only accepted the payment, no tip. So when I stopped by last weekend, she pretty much refused service to me based on my comment and how it hurt her feelings. I understand you can refuse service to anyone, but I can also take my business somewhere else. And that is what I did, found a barbershop close by, took care of business and paid the person with a tip increase. Oh by the way, the cost plus tip was lower than what Nob Hill Barber Shop offered.
