This location is the worst my mom went in today and ended up getting a foot wash for 35 dollars. Wouldn't even call it a pedicure. The only thing she was trying to get her ingrown toe nails removed, mind you they have done it before, my mom told the lady to cut her nails because she let her feet soak and then wanted to start putting nail polish on, she didn't even trim her nails nor cut her cuticles. The lady said they don't do that she needs to go to a specialist. After the lady started to trim her nail and my mom had to keep telling her "can you cut the other nail and the other one" like if the lady didn't know and she started filing her nail not the top of the nail but the nail straight on. With a nail filing machine, and the file was touching her skin and it burn her skin. Her toe still burns. She had to tell the lady to stop and the owner told her that she need to go to a doctor to get her ingrown toe nail seen by a doctor. At the end that had to put another lady to take out her ingrown nails. In a bad mood tell her that was the only time she was going to do that. It honestly sucks having the closes nail salon to my house give such bad service and be so pricey I will never go here ever again. This nail salon is two minutes from my house. I figured I would try them out so I would have a salon super close for pedicures. I went to the nail salon for a simple nail soak off. When I walked in three employees looked at me (more than once) and, one employee finally acknowledged I was there after about a minute. I went up to the counter after 2 older ladies were finished. The lady at counter asked how she could help/what was I getting done. I told her just a soak off. The lady at counter went on to say your nails won't be as strong after the soak off, do you want your nails redone? I told her no just the soak off, I am getting my nails done somewhere else. This lady cocks her head to the side and say in a very rude way, why don't you just go to that person and let them do the soak. I explained the person I am going to cleary does not do soak offs, otherwise I would not have wasted my time going to the salon. A basic soak off is not difficult or time consuming. I looked on the website prior to going to the salon and the website give a price list that includes nail soak off. The price of a nail soak off is about $7 with additional services and $15 without additional services. Why advertise a service and then get an attitude when that service is requested. The snarky comment was unnecessary and very rude to a potential customer. That really let me know, my business was not wanted. I ended up saying nevermind and leaving. I will not be recommending this nail shop to anyone. read more

If you are a POC you will be treated poorly, it's happened twice at this location. I was treated like I wasn't a paying customer. Passed around from one tech to the manager who is running the floor. They took the nail technician away me mid service to go to someone else when she would've been done with my nails in 10 mins since all she had to do was the polish. I decided to go here because my original nail shop is Xtreme nails 99 ave Northern and decided to give a new shop a chance!! I have been getting my nails done for over 20 years never have had any issues with my nails and some how acquired a toe nail fungus after going to this place this tells me they do not sterilize their tools correctly due to this I have had to goto podiatrist and get medications for my toe nail and deal with the embarrassment of having this issue I am writing this to prevent anyone from being in my situation to warn you, other than that I appreciated the staff and they did a good job but they are not sterilizing their tools correctly. read more

This experience was very disappointing. My sister and I had an appointment at 3. We showed up at 3 on the dot. We walked into no front desk receptionist with the manger sitting in a seat getting a pedicure as she spoke from the other side of the room telling us how to check in ourselves. We chose our colors to later find out that she didn't have mine. Only in gel. She insisted I got it because "it lasts longer" which I know, however she didn't tell me the price. I later asked and she said it would be 15 dollars extra for gel. I asked to look at different colors to pick a regular polish which was no problem. We were sat down instantly which was nice it was not busy at all. Other than the manager and two other women were getting a pedicure. Two ladies sat us down filled our water (mine was scorching hot I could put my feet in and my sister said hers was cold) and right away began trimming and scrubbing. No time to soak AT ALL. The whole experience felt so rushed. Rose was my technician. She used the drill on my nails and cut almost all cuticle lines on each toe. It stung with every lotion, oil, or alcohol she applied. She also cut my big toes very short. Both of our "five minute" massages consisted of them rubbing up and down our shin for two mins with oils and then the other three minutes were used to wipe it all off with ONE, COLD towel. After the speedy pedicure we were given our tickets and were told to let them dry for ten minutes as they took away the towel our feet were resting on. Not to mention we took our own toe separators out and put our shoes on which wasn't a problem to do ourselves just usually a courtesy at other salons. All in all, the website states "Classic Spa Pedicure" would be 45 minutes. We left at 3:45 on the dot. (Our pedicure was no longer than 25 minutes) To add I usually am never the person to not tip. I understand tipping is a way a lot of people make their money however I left no tip and in this case I believe it was justified. read more

Worst salon I have had in 20 years. The tech was in a hurry. I chose the Deluxe Pedicure and was in and out of the chair in 30 minutes. The nails were not cut even....one big toe had a long nail and the other a much shorter one as were the rest of my toenails. The callous remover was done but she barely even scrubbed or got the dead skin off. I elected no nail polish as I was giving my toenails a breather from nail polish. She did a horrible job as far as removing the cuticle from around each nail. Will not be going back or referring anyone to you. This nail tech needs to go back to school. read more

It was the most busy I had ever seen a nail salon, but my partner and I were in and out for gel mani/pedi in an hour and a half. The work was exceptional and the staff so friendly. They always make sure I love the work they have done. Teresa and Tia (techs) are my favorite for Mani/Pedi. They are fun and welcoming and do beautiful work. Kim and Gina (mgmt) do a great job of keeping things moving. Kim also went above and beyond to address a personal issue I had not relating to the work of the techs. Giving 2 stars, only because the nails didn't look bad. I gave this place 2 chances because it's so close to my house & would be really convenient if I could go here instead of my usual place. But I will not be returning. My first time, I had an appointment and when the manager took me to the tech who would be doing my nails, she looked up at me, sighed, and rolled her eyes, and started complaining to the manager. Clearly did not want to do my nails and made me feel like an inconvenience for showing up to my appointment. Not going to name her name because maybe she was having a stressful day or had something else going on. I tell her "can you make them a little shorter and keep the almond shape?" and she proceeds to buzz half the nail off and then asks me what shape I wanted. I said "almond" and she goes "I can't do almond because they're too short". I was like "Okay...coffin is fine". They ended up looking pretty good and maybe she didn't hear me when I said almond the first time so it wasn't a big deal. But at the end she goes "I won't charge you this time but we usually charge $5 for a change of shape." Thanks I guess for not charging me for the change of shape that I didn't ask for? Then, I had another appointment yesterday and I wasn't taken back till 35 minutes past my appointment time. I waited the same amount of time that walk-ins were waiting, defeating the purpose of the appointment. The tech who did my nails had a similar attitude to the first woman & was not happy that I wanted my nails to be different colors. Again, the nails ended up looking pretty good so all I can really complain about is being made to feel like an inconvenience, after waiting 30 minutes past my appointment time. I'll be sticking with my old nail salon where they're very kind & don't get upset when they have to do the job they're paid to do. read more
