    This is my first time going to this nail salon, not even less than 2 hours after leaving my nails are like this. The french tip looks so bad & the paint is all splotchy. Very disappointing. I can't believe I paid for that. Almost seems as if it was rushed and not dried properly.

    I've been coming here for a few months now and they have yet to get my nails right. I come here because it's very close and I keep hoping they'll get it right. If it's not the color that's streaky, it's the nails that are crooked... if the nail isn't crooked, they knick me with the dang tools. I'm picky with my acrylics as far as shape and length but you'd think using the same person, they'd get it? I ask for specific things and I'm always polite, I tip well, but they have yet to be friendly to me. I see women come in here chatting it up with them and they seem very close ... so how long does it take for one of the staff to have a conversation with me since I'm in there so much? Clearly they don't like me so Im not sure why my nails can't be done right. I won't be coming back again :( this was the last time. They actually charged me extra ($40 for a fill) to make the shape more "flare" because I was explaining he filed the sides down too much last time and they end up looking narrow. After I thought he understood, he added way too much and ended up filing it back down to square anyways. Not to mention during this visit, I arrived five minutes early for my appointment and I waited 30 minutes before they sat me without telling me anything. Clearly I saw they were occupied so I just waited but when I walked in they asked what I needed, said I had an appointment and heard nothing since. .. disappointing and not worth it in my opinion. This place always has appointments available and is never full, now I see why.

    It has taken a while for me to post a review of how terrible my experience was at this nail salon. I was traumatized by the entire staff. I had never done dip before but I wanted to try it. So my usual lady wasn't available so I agree to see someone else, that was my mistake. As the gentleman was halfway done in my opinion I noticed the nails looking thicker than I wanted them. As he said ok your done I told him that they were too thick and if he could shave them down. I told them they looked ugly. He turned around and said something to the owner (i assumed) that was who the lady was because she started yelling at me that it was dip and thats what i had requested. I told her I was unhappy and to please remove them as I didn't want to keep them. She refused unless I paid, I told her I wasn't happy with it and she was forcing me to pay for something i was not satisfied with. In order to leave this place I ended up paying. I know I shouldn't have but I didn't want to continue with making a "scene". I wouldn't never go back to this place. Can you really tell me he was proud of his work!? Shame on this place. Below you can see his final product. I ended up getting my money back after I explained my to my bank the situation. Please be careful going to this salon

    I've only been to this salon a few times, because I'm not from the area. Every time I've been there it's been an average experience; nothing awful but also nothing incredible. I went in earlier this week and I have to say that I'm very upset with the service I received. I went in there with dip powder nails on (the removal service is similar to that of a no-chip/gel manicure). Now I know every salon does things differently but I'm very upset with the way my nails were treated. I don't remember my tech's name but he was an older gentleman. Maybe 30s-40s. Typically with every other place I've ever been to, the top layer of the manicure is filed off and then my nails are wrapped in acetone covered cotton for about 10-15 minutes. Here, the powder was almost filed ALL the way off to my natural nail (which hurt and made my nails feel weaker than they already are). And he also seemed to not pay attention to a few of my broken nails because he wasn't much gentler with those. My nails were then soaked in acetone for about 5 minutes and then the rest of the dip that was left on was either picked off with his nail (which hurt) or filed down again (also hurt). I tried to stay positive because, as I said I know that every place does things differently. I mentioned at the beginning of the service that I wanted my nails cut down and the gel on my natural nail. My tech busted out the acrylic power and began putting it one of my broken nails. I interrupted and said I didn't want the power on my nails and he informed me that he was just fixing the broken one, which I appreciate but I reminded him that I wanted them all cut down. He proceeded to say "I'll just file them more", I was a little confused because I wanted them all cut very short, basically below my fingertip but they looked nice so I just let it be. Last but not least, I paid for a "shellac-gel manicure" which I'm pretty sure the service brochure says comes with cuticle service and a hand massage. My cuticles were not done, at all. They weren't pushed down or cut or anything. He just removed the original color, buffed my nails, I washed my hands, and he began applying my new color. I think he could tell how frustrated and annoyed I was, I just wanted to get out of there at that point. So that may have been why he skipped out on the hand massage. But either way, the paint job he did on my nails looked like I did it myself. There's color on cuticles (which looks awful) and because he didn't push my cuticles down there's spots on my nail missing color. It just looks bad, what was the point of me going to a nail salon if my nails are just going to look like I did them at home? I don't yelp very often. Only when my experience was terrible or over the top amazing. This, unfortunately, was a bad experience in my opinion. The only reason I gave them more than 1 star is because their prices are awesome. But if this is what I get for what I pay, I'd rather pay a little bit more for someone who actually cares about their clients experiences and nails.

    We just moved to suprise and I needed a nail salon to go to! Found Desert Palm right by my house and was very impressed! They did great work and very good quality! Price was a bit more than I expected but worth it for quality! I got an acrylic fill, gel on top and design for my Disneyland trip!

    I'm here out of town and it was the closest nail shop nearby. Thought from the reviews that I'd give it a try. Am not happy with the results. As one customer noted I had a man in his 30's or 40's do my nails and had the same experience she had. He pretty much filed down the last dip and only had the remover on for about 5-8 minutes. The dip job was messy as the pictures show and he never pushed back or trimed cuticles. The dip wasn't applied to my whole nail, much if my nail is still visable. I left the chair only to return and ask him to clean up the paint that still remained on my skin even after I washed vigorously. Not a place I'll return or recommend. Sorry, but that was my experience.

    This nail salon used to be my go-to. However, as of recently I feel like the customer service has become subpar along with the service itself. I recently went in for a basic mani and pedi. The pedicure was enjoyable and done nicely despite the gentleman dozing off. The manicure however was another issue. Nails were trimmed neatly, but the paint job was horrible. I didn't have time to let them fix it while I was there due to other obligations so I called back in roughly 26 hours and told them that my nail polish was already chipping and the paint job itself was not done well. The lady that I assume to be the manager argued with me a little stating that it's regular polish and they can't guarantee it. I understand it's regular polish but my toes were also painted with regular polish and I showered and the nail polish wasn't compromised at all (see photo below for proof of not so well done paint job). Make it make sense. I guess I don't understand not trusting your customer. She did ultimately agree to fix it. It''s just disappointing to have to argue about a service that you paid for and having to go back. I don't particularly live close to the salon. Not to mention I didn't even receive the hand massage that's supposed to come with the classic manicure. Again, I didn't have the time to bring these things up at the time of service because I had somewhere else to be.

    This place is hands down the best at doing acrylic nails!! It is super affordable and well worth it. My nails can usually last up to a month without looking bad, chipping or breaking. They are nice there and always give you the best quality you pay for. Everytime I go I never leave disappointed! Love this place and I would recommend it to everyone who is looking for good affordable acrylic nails! I always call ahead an make an appointment usually the day of just so they are ready for me and make sure they have time. Check them out, you won't be disappointed! :)

The nail tech, Ruby, forgot the color I chose and painted them the wrong color. Because I was rushing to another appointment, she told me to come back the very next day and she would fix it. When I called to schedule the correction, Ruby wasn't there, so I made an appointment for 9:00 AM the following morning. Today, I arrived on time and waited over 30 minutes because she was late. During that time, the owner/manager came over, looked at my toes, took photos, and explained they had already been having issues with Ruby. Because I had already been inconvenienced by having to return for a mistake that was not mine, take additional time away from work, and then wait over 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment, I asked the owner if acrylic could be added to my big toenails at no charge as a gesture of goodwill for everything I had been put through. The owner agreed and instructed Ruby to do it. That is when the situation escalated. Instead of accepting the owner's decision and taking accountability for the original mistake, Ruby became argumentative and confrontational with me. At that point, my frustration was no longer about the color itself. It was about the repeated inconvenience, lack of professionalism, being late to a scheduled appointment, and being met with resistance and excuses rather than a sincere effort to correct the situation. The issue could have been resolved professionally, but Ruby's attitude and unwillingness to take responsibility turned a simple correction into an unnecessarily negative experience. I also want to be fair in my review. I previously had my fingernails done by Austin, and I will absolutely give credit where it is due his nail work is beautiful, and I was always happy with the quality of his services. However, I did have an experience where I felt he was unnecessarily rude to both my mother and me, and that interaction ultimately led me to stop booking with him. While I can acknowledge the quality of his work, customer service and professionalism are equally important to me as a paying customer.( Fortunate for me I do have this whole encounter voice recorded so that I was able to go back ACCURATELY create this HORRIBLE review! ) The salon itself is clean, well-maintained, and organized. The workstations, floors, and overall appearance of the shop were consistently kept neat during my visits. Cleanliness was never an issue, and I appreciate the effort that goes into maintaining a professional environment for customers. Stylist Review for Ruby: Ruby was the original technician who did my pedicure and unfortunately my experience with her was disappointing. She painted my toes SUPER SLOPPY the wrong color after I had clearly selected a different one and asked me to come back the next day to correct her mistake. SHE Never showed up the day she told me to come in to correct her mistake . When I returned for my scheduled appointment, she arrived over 30 minutes late. What was most frustrating was that instead of taking accountability for the inconvenience and mistake, she became argumentative when the situation was being addressed. Everyone makes mistakes, but professionalism is measured by how those mistakes are handled, and unfortunately that was lacking during my experience. Review for the Owner/Manager: I appreciate that the owner ultimately tried to make the situation right. At first, there seemed to be some hesitation when I requested acrylic on my big toes as a goodwill gesture for the inconvenience of having to return, missing work time, and waiting over 30 minutes past my appointment time. However, after reviewing the situation and recognizing everything that had occurred, the owner reconsidered and approved the request. While the experience should never have reached that point, I do appreciate that management eventually listened to my concerns and attempted to provide a reasonable resolution. Review for Austin: Austin is very talented when it comes to nails, and I want to give him full credit for the quality of his work. My fingernails always looked great, and I was consistently happy with the results. Unfortunately, I had an experience where I felt he was rude and dismissive toward both my mother and me, which ultimately led me to stop booking with him. While I can't fault his skills as a nail technician, customer service is just as important as the service itself. If professionalism and communication had matched the quality of his work, I would likely still be a client today.
