He was guarding resources, dominating other dogs, and had zero recall. Now, after working with Rachel @Integra Dog Training, he's a gentleman that sits and waits at doorways, until I walk through first and release him. He greets others, while sitting. He heels beside me as we go grocery shopping. He sits or downs and stays, while I walk away and out of sight, until I return to him and he is released. Most importantly, when I call him, he comes running to me and lands a sit in front of me. Rachel tailored our training to our life, visiting our home and addressing any issues or specific needs. She even taught him to safely enjoy kayak fishing with me. In the past month, my dog has been completely transformed into an amazing companion and I have been taught the tools to properly handle an intelligent, confident dog that has incredible drive. This is an actual RESORT for pets! They have beautiful rooms, awesome beds, TVs(yes, TVs!), SWIMMING POOL, and plenty of activities for the pets/FAMILY! They constantly place pictures on Facebook. They have veterinarians close by and the pets are SECURE. The whole complex is IMMACULATELY clean! I know business is about making money, but I do not get that "feeling" here. The staff really does appear to love their jobs and the pets. I have YET to pick Rettung up one time when he wasn't clean and looking great. After trying just about everything for our rescue dog, Cubli Wu, we finally found Aaron Stewart at…read moreThe Educated Dog. Cubli is an extremely fearful, reactive, resource-guarding Pekingese with a bite history. We had already worked with a behavioral veterinarian, tried medication, and worked with two highly qualified reward-based, fear-free trainers. Despite our best efforts, we simply weren't making progress. Aaron's approach is completely different, but that does NOT mean it's cruel. I would never allow that. Everything he did was calm, confident, and purposeful. He never yelled or tried to frighten Cubli. During our four-hour session, Cubli attacked him several times and even broke the skin on his arm. Aaron handled every situation calmly and safely, and by the end of the session Cubli was voluntarily walking up to him for attention. That alone spoke volumes to me. Even more amazing were the changes we saw in just one session. I was able to pet Cubli's head, something that had become incredibly difficult. Cubli also remained completely calm while someone used our guest bathroom, which previously would have triggered frantic barking and attempts to chase and bite. What impressed me most wasn't just the changes in Cubli, but how much Aaron taught James and me. We realized that many things we thought were perfectly normal were actually contributing to Cubli's emotional state. Aaron helped us understand how to communicate with our dog in a way that helps him feel safe instead of feeling responsible for controlling every situation. We know one session doesn't magically solve years of behavioral issues, and the real work now belongs to us. But for the first time since adopting Cubli, we genuinely feel hopeful. Aaron understood our dog in a way no one else had. Somewhat to my embarrassment, I actually started to cry as Aaron was leaving. That is very unlike me. It wasn't because I thought Cubli was "fixed." It was because, for the first time in a very long time, I truly felt he had a chance. If you have a fearful, reactive, aggressive, or resource-guarding dog and feel like you've run out of options, I can't recommend Aaron highly enough. He was worth every penny.

Our 4 BIG fur babies were so well taken care of! We saw pictures and video's online everyday showing them having so much fun. Even our oldest pup (11 years old) came home happy and relaxed.
