I went back in the store and they gave me a free pack. Cool. As they should. When I got home, there was 18 tablets in a pack of 20. I didn't say anything about it. Tonight I bought 2- 7 pack pre-rolls. When I got to the car, one pack had 7 and the other pack had 3! When I went back in to figure it out, the worker just said "You've been here 2 times and both times there were problems." Alluding to it being my fault. They basically said they don't touch the product and it's my problem. I called the police. Thankfully, the officer rectified the situation, but the workers at Aroma Hill have BANNED me from this location. DO NOT GO HERE!!! If you want good options, there's an EarthMed close by in McHenry (especially if you're a medical card holder) and there's multiple other dispensaries in the area. Unprofessional! I also had an impatient worker when the facility wasn't busy. While I was trying to figure out what I wanted, he asked me to step aside so he could help the next customer. I wasn't there for 60 seconds and felt rushed so I left. Guy with a beard. They also do not display the price you're paying at the register. You have to take their word for it that it is the correct price. I am a medicinal card holder and I'm supposed to get 30% store wide. I have never once seen the price displayed on the register nor have I ever been given a receipt. Do not trust this place. Do not go here! Shady business.

I was told to talk to the manager who said the offer ended in May I responded that I understand but that is for new customers. When I first patronized the business I was told "50% off your first three visits within the next 90 days" he responded with "I can give you 40% off this visit" I said "that's not what I was told originally" he replied "that's the best I can do" to which I replied "it's unfortunate that you're going to lose business over 10%" and walked out. With so many dispensaries popping up (there's 5 within a few miles of this place) it's silly to try to screw customers out of 10% of their order when that was promised originally.

The other kind of place is the Asian restaurant category. Some diners want American English and American wait service and rate low, while others are looking for good authentic ethnic specific cuisine with culturally specific appropriate customary service and rate high resulting in the best place for me having a three star average. Marijuana dispensaries are like this, the Goldilocks three star average comes from lots of disgruntled stoners being upset for the sorts of reasons stoners get upset about, and anyone who has spent too much time with stoners like my brother or with my brother himself, will readily identify. My brother recently got mad at me for texting him while he was busy being stoned. At the same dispensaries some more casual users give five star reviews because they get such a thrill out of the occasional ganja high that the appreciate the opportunity and the combined result is the attractive three star average. Yes, I could have just said, "quick and friendly service" but Emily already wrote that, and the service was indeed friendly (even security) but it wasn't quick because one of those stoned problem children was in front of me in line at every cashier position. By the way, for those of you who are new to this, 15% is a fair tip. Fifteen percent plus the store profit margin is still less than pre-legalization dealer markup for this level of quality.

They distributed advertising leaflets in downtown stores. The leaflets said they were now open. I'm from out town, out of state. Everything else I wanted to do was walking distance. I drove to the location, no sign, no information, and a rude fellow inside had no information on any dispensary even though he was setting up for the incoming business. There are always hiccups for new businesses but this is not a promising start, customer respect wise. I told her Im not buying anything and she says "you still have to show it" with a horrible little tone. The people at the next register same situation but the cashier only took the i.d. of the person buying. The stockier latina lady that was ringing us up was clearly lying. Product was also no good. This is what I hate about dispensaries, employees look down on every customer that walks in. Never coming back here and I am going to make sure my friends stay away too.
