This is great place to visit if you're an individual looking to spend some time with some cute cats and kittens. I don't mind paying the entry fee because I know it is going to operating costs (you can't have a business like a cat cafe without ensuring you get some kind of income from each patron). I'm always amazed by how clean they keep things with all the visitors and kitties. I've been to other cat cafes that have litter everywhere and smell like poop/pee, but that is not the case here. The cats thankfully have a separate space to go to have time to themselves and use the litter box. I honestly prefer not to buy a drink because I'm too busy walking around and finding the kitties to play with, but they have a good selection of canned drinks and use a popular local coffee brand. I did end up adopting one kitty from them! Be warned that if you want to adopt a cat, you cannot do it the day you visit. You have to submit an application first and be approved, and you can only pick them up on a Sunday. read more

I had been planning/thinking about doing this trip for 2 weeks to come on my day off, see the kitties and get some much needed purr therapy. The manager was helpful, greeted me at the door and introduced me to one of the cats there that he thought I would get along with and of course I had a great time. What is there not to like about cats? The cafe itself is quiet with a nice atmosphere and some good music. I just got to chill on a chair with a cat in my lap and there's no real time limit for how long you can stay if the place is not too busy. There's also an aquarium in the back and I enjoyed studying that, too. Next time I visit I'll have to try one or two of the drinks they offer. Be prepared to find parking! It was free for me. The cafe is located right in front of Lake Loveland and a park with swings and slides, you can enjoy the view and play when you're done with the cats. read more

If you're a cat lover this is the place to go! My daughter and I went just for the experience of seeing the cats. There were 13 cars there today up for adoption. It was a cute cafe and concept! It was fun to play with the cats and watch them run around. We didn't have any food or drink while we were there so I can't comment on the quality or taste. What a very cute spot in northern colorado! So glad they were able to get this going in our area! Located in south loveland just off 287. There is some street parking available and there is a parking lot nearby. When you go in there will be a gate to go through to make sure no kitties escape out the door. You will need to head up to the counter. There is a $12 per person entrance fee to come in and hang out or play with the cats. There is also coffee, drinks, and some snacks available for purchase. There are toys to play with the cats with. There are tables to sit at and plenty of floor space as well. It is very cozy, well lit and comfortable. read more

We are from St. Louis and have been to over 5+ cat cafes and this one was in our top favorites! The cats are playful and there is no time limit of playing with the cats that you find at most cat cafes. They also have a big space for the cats to play. The owners are very kind and are very knowledgeable about the cats! Will be returning on our next visit to Loveland! read more

The NoCo Cat Cafe is a new(er) place in Loveland. Their niche is a coffee bar with the accompaniment of adoptable cats. Unfortunately, the experience falls flat on both fronts for a variety of reasons. The pricing is a high. Instead of partnering with the humane society and funding the venture on great coffee, drinks, and baked goods, they charge a $12 cover charge and double down by offering a lackluster selection of drinks and bakery items at higher prices than other coffee houses. Like the pricing structure, the quality of goods will literally leave a bad taste in your mouth. Instead of offering a full drink menu of lattes, mochas, and drip/cold brew coffees, they offer a single drip coffee which can only be described as drinking gray water filtered through recycled asphalt. To make matters worse, you better like your coffee black as they don't even have a modest supply of sugar or creamer on hand. Their entire in-house supply of coffee additives consisted on 3 packets of sugar, two single-use shots of french vanilla creamer, and a packet of splenda. The shrink wrapped bakery items they bring in from other vendors are hit or miss. The coffee cake was good and only modestly over-priced while the two-bite donuts are puny, overpriced, and any icing is removed when taking off the shrink wrap. As for the cats, they are fun and friendly but are greatly outnumbered by the number of guests. There were less than a handful of cats for a place that was at capacity. Inevitably, people will grab a cat and hoard it while a dozen other people wait around hoping a cat fleeing for the safe room will so much as brush up against their leg. There's also hardly any seating so you can't even read a book or do work while waiting your turn to visit with a cat. While a reasonable concept on paper, the execution here leaves a lot to be desired. There's almost no "cafe" aspect to the business and the human-to-cat ratio means you're highly unlikely to get to visit with many or all the cats to determine if one is an adoptable option for you. I've had much better experiences simply visiting local animal shelters and stopping at a coffee shop on the way there. Save your money and donate to the local humane society. read more

The food options weren't that good wide but you gotta keep in mind there's cats around so there won't be that much. The service was amazing the staff would automatically tell you a cats name if you were interested in it! The vibe was nice too! The coffee options weren't the best at all there was a few teas a drip coffee and some sodas that were off brand or something like that. The merchandise was nice though they had stickers and cute mugs and I got a necklace that I have been wearing non stop because it's so cute and it supports these cute little cats! The cats were well taken care of I didn't see kids pulling cats tails or being disrespectful to the cats or being crazy. We drove up from Denver today to visit the NoCo Cat Cafe and were not disappointed! We're already making plans to go back again! The cafe is so cozy, clean and modern! The coffee is so good and the pastries were delicious! But the real treat was... THE CATS! We did not expect to get to snuggle with so many kittens. All of the cats were so sweet and snuggly and there were plenty of places to sit comfortably and just snuggle and pet them! There were also tons of toys and fun places to play with these sweet cats. The cats are obviously living a great life at the cafe, just waiting for their forever homes! The owners were so helpful in telling us each cat's name and tidbits about them. The only downside was the tears from my kid when she couldn't bring them all home! Love this place!! Definitely recommend for all cat lovers! read more

I brought my family in hope of getting a bite while we play with the cute animals. The only food offered was bobo bars and canned drinks and not fancy coffee. We were starving the whole time after paying the fee we went to order and we disappointed to say the least. And they charge $12 buck to get in. Not worth it for our family of 5. That costs way too much bc the only thing included is saying hi to some kitties. The kitties were cute but not worth that kinda money. They don't even offer kitty treats or anything for interaction with the cats. I wouldn't suggest this place and won't be going back. On a positive note the family running the place seemed sweet but I don't think they have the business down yet and really need to lower the price or offer more for the price. The Cat Cafe is a new concept and while it is not for everyone, I am so excited to see one open up in my community. Didn't find out about the admission fee until we were at the front door and our kids were so excited to go in and waited 30 min outside for opening. $50 for our family to come pet some cats while someone stood over them the entire time watching their every move and timing how long they took a turn with the kittens. They weren't permitted to pick up the kittens at all and yet the person after us was allowed to right in front of my kids. No choices for coffee and disgustingly packaged food. I have been to every pop-up event hosted by the NoCo Cat Cafe in anticipation of their brick and mortar location opening and have had nothing but great experiences. They partner with a local cat rescue and fosters to help adoptable cats and kittens find their furever homes. The new location is cute, spacious, and extremely cat-friendly. Furthermore, they sell cat toys, food, and litter as well as coffee, tea, and pastries for the humans. The wifi is free and they have an option for a monthly membership. What more could you want? I have only ever been to one other cat cafe (down near Denver) and NoCo Cat Cafe blows them out of the water. Definitely check them out! read more

Not sure how many starts to give. I've been following NoCo Cat Cafe on Facebook for a few weeks and there was not a clear mention of their "admission fee" of $12 per person. If I had known this, me and my 2 sons ($36 entrance fee) would not have stopped by for coffee, which we could not get since I was not planning to pay an unexpected $36 for a cover charge just to buy coffee (a $50 coffee stop was not in my budget for this week). I now know that it is common to charge an entrance fee for cat cafes, but I'm sure there are many who were just like me and did not know this prior, so more up-front transparency from the business would have been nice. I suppose if you are looking to adopt a cat, this is one option. If you are looking to support cat rescues, I'd recommend making donations to rescue organizations as the entrance fee to NoCo Cafe goes partially (not sure percentage) to operating costs (rent, utilities, etc.). If you are looking just for coffee and maybe a pastry, as we were, this is not the place for you. Now that I am more educated on cat cafes, I doubt I will be a patron as I prefer to give donations to cat rescues. read more

NoCo Cat Cafe is wonderful. From the very first time I walked by shortly before they first opened, I felt welcomed. I was peeking in the window and Christopher, one of the owners, asked me if I wanted to come in for a "sneak preview" before their official opening. How nice was that?! I met his wife Kimberly as well. These folks are doing great work. Several cats have already been adopted in the first few days (like Alice & Amelia, and Stewie--I met them all on the first day). The accommodations for these potential feline adoptees are very thoughtful, clean and with opportunity for privacy if they get uncomfortable with human interaction. I have a friend who opened a cat cafe in another city. I know how difficult it is to operate a business like this that makes little or no profit. Truly a labor of love. It feels good that the $12 entry fee is used for helping to get these beautiful creatures a forever home. I love this place!! read more

While I believe this place is doing good things for our feline friends, they don't seem to care about small children torturing their cats. It was really sad to see very frightened cats being chased and tortured by small children. They were even chasing the cats in the cats' so called "safe room". I understand this is just as much bad parents as bad owners, but I feel the owners should look out for their furry tenants. Behavior like this will lead to hurt cats and even more hurt children if it isn't curtailed. Please take care of your cats. read more
