I drove into town to visit the Nokona baseball glove factory. I asked for a recommendation for lunch and I was told the Brewery had good food and good prices. My son and I went in and sat at the bar. We were promptly greeted by Sierra who was very nice and friendly. We placed our order with her. I decided on the spicy crispy chicken sandwich and my son order chicken strips and crinkle fries. Shortly after, Austin came out with our order and was welcoming and friendly. The food was prepared perfectly and tasted great. The place itself was clean and very cool! Staff were really nice here. You order at the bar and set up a tab. There are a lot of beer choices. I had two flights which allowed for tasting 8 different beer options. All of them were fantastic. I think lime ale, blood orange ale, amber beer and the chocolate stout were my favorites. The food was okay. It was prepared well but seemed like it was kept frozen until ordered. We were in Nacona for one night and didn't know about this brewery. We saw it as we were driving into town and decided to stop in. I have to say that we were pleasantly surprised. We got a flight and liked everything we tried. Some of the beers are a bit on the bland side, but I really enjoyed the Amber, and my wife liked the Light. The place is very clean, comfortable, and has a nice brewery vibe. We didn't try the food, but there were other people eating that seemed to be enjoying it. Overall, if you're in Nocona, and you like beer, it's worth a stop. read more

We hunt here in Nocona and visit this place as often as we can. Great brewery with a small town feel. They typically have about a dozen or so of their own beers on tap. Highly recommend the Bronc Buster IPA, Peanut Butter Stout, Pecan Ale and Tennessee Stout. They also offer your typical bar food. read more

What a hidden gem! The burger was just amazing! The bun, the blue cheese, the burger patty, it was amazing! From two foodies take our word for it! Simple and amazing! The brews are really delicious too! I'm not a beer drinker and I still liked them! The staff was so friendly. The patrons were so friendly. It has a pickle ball court in the back for $5 an hour! Great local brewery in Nocona, Texas. I had a flight with Nocona Stout, Nocona Amber, Blood Orange, and Hard Peach Mango. All were delicious but the Hard Peach Mango was my favorite. My Mother had the Nocona Light and it was tasty as well. Inside had a great feel and look to it. I'm giving 4 stars because the service was lacking. We were visitors and I'm sure it was obvious. Sat at our table and waited thinking we might order from a server. After sitting and watching for about 10 mins, we noticed people going to the bar to place orders. So I went up to place an order, no hi what can I get you? Or welcome in...so I just placed the order and waited at the bar for it and went on about my day. We were greeted with a large and eclectic decorated interior paired with amazing beer selections. Don't know what kind of beer you'd like? The bartender can help with that. They'll ask you exactly what you typically go for, sweet or sour? I prefer bitter so I had the Bronc Buster. My husband went for the Oktoberfest porter and then vanilla stout. Friday night at 7pm and nearly empty. The decor is great. Very rustic-country. Nice outdoor patio that's dog friendly although it's kind of a wind tunnel. The beers aren't so great. Very non-descript. All the beers in the same family tasted the same. Nothing was smooth. Nothing made me say, "damn! That was good! Hit me up again!" Meh. If in the area, stop. If you like stouts or IPAs you will love their peanut butter stout and ipa. Very cool brewery with an awesome, friendly and informative staff. We actually stumbled upon this place by accident because or bus (home on wheels) broke down a mile down the road. So we got very lucky when we checked what was near by and this brewery came up. They have a pretty sweet rooftop too. Oh and don't let me forgot The performance by The Brehms. They were very talented and super sweet!!! We felt very lucky to break down so close. The only downfall was this happened on Dec 23. So that night was the only chance we had to enjoy the brewery because it then closed till New Year's Eve. read more

Stopped in for an afternoon brew and something to eat. Their bronc buster was pretty good, best of the two I tried and the two I ordered. The pale ale was so flat, I wondered if they bothered to carbonate it when it was kegged. Tried the burger, I don't recommend it. I saw some of their appetizers served to another patron, the appetizers looked pretty good. Maybe opt for real and fresh beef rather than the bland frozen Pattie's for your burgers. That'll be a hard pass for me in the future. The stout lacked the body a stout should have. The blueberry sour was ok, not any detectable blueberry, but it wasn't bad for a sour on its own. It was an ok experience, not the best one, but not the worst one either. read more

We are in Nocona about once and month and always try to stop here for a brew or, at least, pick up a some to take home. We are huge fans and have had beer around the globe. This place produces WORLD CLASS beer with lots of personality. Maybe not for plebeian tastes or the Coors Light crowd. Try the Amber. It is complex and full of "hello!" We have always wanted to visit Nocona, we have had some of their beers at other locations. We were able to sample quite a few of their selections, before settling on one each. The beers are actually quite good, not outstanding but extremely well priced. Very easy to drink. Their Crystal has changed from an IPA to a pale ale, mostly because it just wasn't a super hopped up IPA. Their amber ale is one of the easier drinking beers of its type ever had. It was a Saturday evening, and it went from hardly anyone there to packed in a matter of minutes. There was a live band, a trio more interested in soundchecks than actually making music. Fun location. Because it's on US 82 it is accessible, highly recommended for anyone coming up from the Metroplex to check out the wineries or the Ancient Ovens. read more

This is our first visit to the brewery and we loved it. The sliders, pretzel, cheese and meat board and jalapeño poppers were all very good. We had red beer and it was very good and tasted a few others. Very fun environment, the owner was there and came over to talk to us and he was an interesting and entertaining guy. Such a gem. I would of never expected a place like this in such a small town! We are visiting from California and decided to drive around the town. We spotted the brewery as it's newer and haven't seen it on previous visits. The outside has great charm. When we walked in the doors we were blown away. Large, clean, stylish, inviting, hip! This feels like a place that could be in the heart of Los Angeles along with all the other hip bars yet it's here in a cute little town in Texas. The hospitality was on point. The ladies behind the bar were sweet, informative and knew how to make our experience the best possible. A local also offered to buy us a crawfish Bloody Mary and I must say it was top notch! This is a great place tucked away in little Nocona,TX. The beer is great and the bartender was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. We got a flight of their summer beers and tried three others, and they were all very good. The building is also very cool. It's inside the old Nocona Boot Factory building next to Nokona Gloves. It's very industrial, but really nice. It's a great place to stop on your way to Ancient Ovens in St. Jo when coming from Wichita Falls.
