They have a wonderful time and look forward to each lesson. I can't recommend this safe, friendly and knowledgeable school enough. Our daughter's private instructor, John is just incredible. First, she has the same instructor each lesson. He has formed such a bond with her. She trusts him and really has a wonderful smile on her face the whole time (even after coughing a little from the water). Her confidence and skills are growing day by day. The group classes are also stellar. Don't be turned off by the "group" part. The ratio is kept down to 3 to 1 and each kid gets plenty of solo instruction. They are given appropriate breaks and then it back out with an instructor to learn more. Our son has a warm smile on his face the entire time. His skills have grown leaps and bounds. If you're looking for classes for your kids this school is definitely worth taking a look at. At first we thought it was a little expensive (and compared with schools like 'The Connection" it is, but the results are completely worth it. They run a safe, friendly and fun school all while being focused on developing real skills.

NJ Sea Dragons recently opened and after being in many swim schools throughout the year, I highly recommend this swim school over any others. They break down every stroke to teach the little details and they work on endurance during every practice. Luis is a USA swimming professional coach and his team is excellent. The owner, Coach Jenn Ott is great with the kids and does a great job of keeping a small class size so the kids really get time to swim. In other schools that we tried, our kids spent more time waiting than swimming. We first started with our older daughter who was 10 at the time with no swimming experience. Within 4 lessons she had real confidence and was swimming quite well. Now 2 years later she still takes lessons just to improve technique but has swam competitively in our town because of Sea Ott. We then enrolled our 3 year old. With her we did private lessons rather that group. The rates are very reasonable and the teachers are great. She is now 4 and has no fear of the water because of Sea Ott. We have just had great experiences here and would recommend them to anyone.

Began membership for our family under old ownership a few years ago…read more Things have gone way down in the pool area, and restaurant since then. T he pool is in terrible need of resurfacing. Constant foot cuts and bleeding are the norm. The inner basketball court area is in terrible need of a coat of paint. The vast amounts of green space surrounding the pool use to be great for the kids to throw a ball or play games. It's no longer allowed. No in depth pool rules are posted on the website or at the pool facility. And yet lifeguards constantly blow their whistles for the most minor things. Without rules, who knows why or what you can or cannot do. Further the swim managers encourage constant whistles being blown by lifeguards and it makes the entire swim area very, very tense. The restaurant, which has been closed for renovation for many, many months reopened only to offer very standard and uninspired items. And very, very little for non-meat options. This will be our last season with this club, unless management makes the necessary changes, as there are countless great clubs and pools in our area.

Wesley was amped up after his vaccines so I decided to look for a park where we could eat our lunch and enjoy the spring weather. I legit just looked up parks on Apple Maps and chose the closest place. Oh my god - there was a lake - accessible by walking or by car. So many lovely places to park right by the water. An ABUNDANCE of benches. So many beautiful cherry blossom canopies. And dog friendly to boot! We saw elderly couples, teenage friends, young lovers, new moms, athletes, dog dads, people fishing. There's also swimming and aquatics there once the summer rolls around. It was just so perfect. For history buffs, there was also a war memorial to departed soldiers from the area since The Revolutionary War(!!). What a sweet little afternoon break!

The buffet lunch was pretty good. We especially loved those olive rolls - I would love to take some home with me...LOL (They remind me of the olive rolls I get at the Summit Farmers Market in the summer.) Food was good, and the chocolate cake was great. I just wish service had been on par with what was expected from a country club. When a latecomer arrived, they weren't even offered a drink until much later. (The waitress had JUST brought someone else a drink, and completely ignored the newly arrived guest.) Many times we also had to get rid of our own plates. It wasn't until we were ALL completely finished with dessert that coffee was offered. It's really a shame that it had to end on that note, but perhaps it was just an off day. I would try it again and give them another chance.

They saw so many cars piled up and parked in the entrance that they assumed there was not valet parking available.

There's a large play place with lots of slides and areas to climb, pretend play centers and plenty of other toys like blocks, trains, etc. A huge added bonus is they have a snack bar with coffee - perfect for adults, and helpful if you forget snacks for your kiddos. The entire space is kept extremely clean and has a bright and modern feel. Admission is around $20 for open play. It's also a wonderful spot for birthday parties - you get the entire space for two hours and they have complete packages where they include food and decor. Overall it's a cute spot to have in town and I'm sure we'll continue to visit often!

She's caring, thoughtful, remembers us(!), and very organized. Every time we have come to the facility, every block is in place, and there isn't a piece of lint or thread anywhere on the floor- it is spotless clean! Remember to bring socks - if you forget (like I did) they have kid and adult pairs for sale for just a few dollars. You're also welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks in - they have designated areas for food in there. Our kid started coming around age 13 months and is 2.5 years now. There are endless things to do - from small breakout rooms to explore and stimulate imagination, to a massive climbing and jungle gym area that even adults can easily maneuver. There is a small cafe for water and snacks, as well as very clean, accessible restrooms. The area is very open and visible, so parents can always keep an eye on their children no matter which part of the building they are in. If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would.
