Good selection. Nice guy. Friendly to customers, regional and local produce. That's it.

To start I love the area that Copeland Springs is located in. It is a part of a larger co-op that…read morehas a meadery, brewery/distillery, ax throwing, cbd store, and lots of other little gems like a human chess set and swing set. The gentleman running the cb store told me I must stop here as the food is amazing. He explained that it is a rotating menu, but most of the items are vegan or vegetarian. I told him that I am wanting to eat less meat so this is great. I showed up to the restaurant and was warmly greeted by all of the staff. I could not decide what I wanted so I got their pick three platter with the toast bite with homemade ricotta, lemon curd, and spring strawberry salad. My grand total was just $11 and they have a notification system that tells you when your food is ready. It took about 20 minutes to get my food, but it was so worth it! The salad was super refreshing and had just enough salad dressing. The lemon curd bite was amazing and had just enough sweetness and a good crunch from the puff pastry. Last, the ricotta toast was so yummy and I enjoyed every bite. Most of the menu was grown on site and if not they use local products as much as possible. The meal was just enough. I did not feel overly stuffed and it was so good. Since they rotate the menu every couple of months and it has been about a month with this menu, I will have to come back in July or August for some new deliciousness!

The kitchen is located right on their sustainable farm. My friend and I wanted a quick bite. We ordered the ramen bowl at the counter. We found a picnic table right outside of the kitchen and we waited, and waited, and waited during a not busy time for a vegan dish. When we finally got the ramen the portion size was small. The ramen itself was lacking flavor and was very dry.

The gentleman behind the counter was very personable and ready to explain all of the offerings, from Fullsteam beers to hot sauce. The spicy Cackalacky hot sauce is indeed spicy and tasty, not really all too hot (by my own standards) and probably more geared toward the masses than those who truly appreciate some serious fine tasting HEAT. The sweet cheerwine sauce is just too sweet for me but might work as a bbq seasoning. Some old style arcade games are spread about back wall while a train does its rounds on the tracks overhead. Board games and chess tables are available for those who want to be sociable with their friends. The atmosphere is definitely antiquish, but it's set up for conversation and being sociable, with areas being more booth-like and cubby areas for small groups as opposed to a large open room that creates a dull roar that deafens the conversations. Bring your laptop or tablet - there are outlets in the back to keep the devices charged and wi-fi appears to be available.
