Their workers are careless and sloppy in their work. They cut my buried cable line not just once, but TWICE! I work at home, so I lost money as a result of their careless work. I called the owner, and he refused to even apologize and was very rude. They also cut the grass so low with power riding mowers that the grass dies. This business is HORRIBLE! AVOID! read more

Their laborers do a great job, however, the company does not stand behind their warranty. We had $23,000 worth of paver work done in the summer of 2015. We contacted the job foreman Mike in 2018 (we had a 5 yr warranty) about a few things that needed to be fixed. He kept telling us that he would be out to handle the repairs, but never showed up. We contacted Mike again in 2019, and 2020, kept getting promises of coming out, but they never showed up. He finally just stopped responding. We went to the office and was told the owner Dave would contact us. He did, but said we were out of warranty. Seriously? We started this 3 yrs ago. He was pretty cocky and said they would be out to fix a couple things, but not everything. Of course, they still have never shown up. We ended up paying $2400 to a reliable, honest company to do the repairs. read more

Horrible service. Started snowing yesterday and our sidewalks are still not cleared. Dispatcher is no help. Messages are never returned. One time I had somebody tell me "hey lady it's Chicago and winter what do you expect?" I expect service on time and if you can't do that hire some more people. 2/24/20 Just got a call from Dave the owner because he didn't like my review. He said he's going to pray for me because I have problems. Then he got personal. This is a guy who can't take any criticism for a review that is spot on and all of my neighbors agree. They need to do a better job as this is a community with elderly people who were walking in the streets because Nogas' crew couldn't shovel the sidewalks until eight hours later. I initially contacted Nogas for an estimate on a retaining wall around my patio. I couldn't even get them out for an estimate after trying twice. Initially I called and set up an appointment for last Friday at noon. 15 minutes into the appointment window someone from the office calls saying they need to reschedule. Understandable, stuff comes up so I booked another appointment for the following Tuesday at 10am. The next appointment window comes, no one shows up and no one calls. It shouldn't be this hard to schedule an estimate, I'll go somewhere else. read more

What a great place! Wanted to replace my small patio slab with something that was useable. Called Nogas and talked with Mike Barry. He discussed what they could do and how long it would take. We agreed on a price and start date. Mike and Nogas were there when started and finished on time, even though they ran into some problems. What a great job. I would highly recommend them to anyone! My husband and can't be any happier with our new patio built by Nogas Landscaping. I knew Mike Berry had a vision of we should do and yet we were blown away when he and crew finished. The men showed up at 7:30 promptly each morning and stayed until 5:00 each evening. The workers pleasant and curtious. Would give 0 stars if I could. We have a rerun if last year. A mess everywhere you look, mud trails because they are too stupid not to drive a lawn mower through flooded grass. Never clean up, call to complain you get excuses, it rained a lot, the grass is wet etc. Boo hooo use some common sense and it won't be trashed. Last year I was begged weekly to take down my posts and not one week went by that our neighborhood didn't look like this. This company sucks! Do not use them! We had our landscaping done a year again and I waited to post this review since we had so many annuals, trees and bushes planted and I am glad we did. This company offered to come back out if anything didn't make it and there was absolutely no need as all the plantings are perfect a year later! The service we received was remarkable, the crew worked their tails off and cleaned up any working messes before they left. I offered drinks several times to the workers and they were so grateful as a little bit of kind hospitality goes along way! The quality of the products they used were above par, specifically the mulch as it maintained it's amazing look that extended past the season. Thank you for taking such good care of us! read more

I never used a landscaping company before and now I couldn't go back to not using one. I called in and requested some information on landscaping for my home. I had the manager come to my home and give an estimate. I was impressed with the pricing. So then when they came out they were quick and professional. My yard looked amazing. Everything for bagged up and I didn't have to worry about anything. The hedges in my yard looked great. I would definitely recommend Nogas. Talk to Mike Barry. He had a game plan for what would be best in the yard and it looks amazing. Plus I found out they are heavily involved in our community. Sponsors teams and coaching and fundraising. Good luck getting even a Quote from this outfit. We scheduled an appointment for an estimate. They never showed up or called. We called to reschedule and were told someone would call to reschedule, I believe it was the owner. No one called so we called again a few days later. Someone did finally call and left a message to call them back. We immediately called back and went to voicemail and left a message. After a couple of days more without receiving a call back, we again called the number we were told to call and left another message. A couple of weeks have passed now and still crickets from Nogas. I hope their work is better than their customer service! read more

they break things and then say...we are not going to pay to replace it because it should not be there...what??? how about you watch what you are doing!!!! horrible service and rude owners..our subdivision uses them...do yourself a favor, save your money..unless you want to shovel your own snow after paying them..and if the break something or destroy something..they dont take any responsibility.... read more

I could not be happier with the work Nogas Landscaping did on my house. I spent about 30 to 45 minutes getting to know Mike and found out we have a ton in common and knew a lot of the same people. The workers did an outstanding job, were professional, cleaned up and answered any of the questions I had. I would highly recommend them for any of the work you need done. read more

Once again this Nogas landscaping company sucks! Their workers constantly leave grass clippings in clumps and trails all over our yard. We've complained and they've sent out a crew the next day to clean it up but yet EVERY week we have to deal with grass clipping trails all over our yard. I contacted the owner who happened to be outside of our house. I went out to let him know that this happens every week and he says "this is kind of a small amount to be complaining about" it doesn't matter how much there is its about keeping your customers satisfied. The owner doesn't seem to care about his customers. Stay away from this company. They're a joke! The association next to ours uses another company and we walk our dogs everyday pass their yards and no grass clippings even after heavy rainfall which is what the owner of Nogas constantly claims is the reason for the clippings. No.... How about you tell your workers to clean up properly after servicing your customers. read more
