Since I wanted human hair braids, I also sent a photo of bundles I bought from Amazon. There were no issues with the hair when I spoke to her. I paid a $50 deposit. Appointment Day: My appointment was at 9am, but she showed up a little before 9:30. No big deal. I went and got us both breakfast while waiting. She said the human hair isn't great quality, but she can use half synthetic hair and add human hair on the ends. After finishing the back row, she mentioned it's not a quick process and the cost would be $500 if she completed it that way. I declined and asked what could be done to resolve the issue. She suggested I go get the "Expressions" brand of hair that she started using from the beauty supply around the corner. I left, bought the hair, and returned. I then realized she was calmly complaining about the length of my hair and how she doesn't charge $300 for it. To avoid a poor job and dissatisfaction, I asked her what she charges for this length, and she said $400. I agreed to it, mainly because I drove all the way out there, and she had already started. I also noticed her discreetly stuffing the leftover hair. Next time, please ask if you can keep it. The synthetic hair she initially started using was hers, so I didn't complain. However, don't assume that taking the client's hair balances things out; just ask. I had to pay for that hair AND give you an extra $100. End Result: My hair looks nice (just not worth $400 in my opinion). I allowed her to take pictures of the hairstyle when asked. Just sharing my experience. The lady told me that the photo I initially sent of my real hair, compared to how it looked after a blowout, wasn't the same. That's strange. Maintain consistent prices to encourage repeat business from clients.

That's a thing of the past now. Arden is a wonderful hairdresser, as she brings professionalism and personality to the table. The first time I went to her for a haircut, I got exactly what I was looking for, which is apparently a difficult thing in this city. The atmosphere in Arden's space is welcoming, inviting, and accepting. The walls of her studio are plastered with cute decor that showcase Arden's creative influences and show off her personal style. The mushroom wall let me know we were gonna hit it off I'll never go anywhere else for my hair needs!

My review is specifically for NailTrendz, you can find her on Instagram. I have been coming to see Ana since 2020. She is reasonable with her prices and she is very kind. I've attached some photos of her work. I started off getting Gel X, but now I just get gel overlay on my natural nails. She also gives amazing pedis! I would 100% recommend her services. A lot of nail techs nowadays don't offer pedis. Anna has a pedi chair in her room, and she keeps up on sanitizing her stations after every client. Good range of color selection and she prioritizes the health of your nails.

I made one request - that there wouldn't be a straight line where the color was so it would grow out subtly/naturally. She definitely satisfied my request. There was some beautiful hairstyles that I watched come and go from this salon. I would recommend it to my friends / family.
