This was the worst experience we've ever had with "The Parking Spot". It's not actually them, it's a company that partners with them called Nola parking. Had I understood this when booking, I wouldn't have booked. The parking area is shady to begin with but upon arriving back home, they told us they wouldn't come get our group after our flight. The owner said he would only pick up 3 of us and we'd have to drive BACK to the airport and fight the lines and figure out how to get the rest of our families. He argued with my husband and stopped the car and told him to get out in the middle of the trip back to the vehicles. This has been the worst customer service. He was trying to cut corners and take the cheap way out instead of serving all guests. Beware of what you're getting yourself into, especially if on a time crunch. This is not the service you were tricked into paying for. -10/10 read more

DO NOT PARK HERE! Everything about it SUCKS! I don't know how they stay in business. Upon arrival, it was completely abandoned. So much for the 24 hour security. There are no signs to indicate this is the parking lot so we had to waste more time circling to find the entrance. Then we called the number on the vacant office. An elderly man answered as if I messed up his nap and groggily said he'd be there to shuttle us in 15 minutes. After about 30 minutes, he arrived unhurriedly, said nothing after I tried to greet him "good morning", moseyed to the office, gave us some paperwork to complete, (although we had already done that), then finally let us in the van. We took the scenic route and finally got the airport. We tipped him anyway, as it is our custom. When we returned, the return shuttle was even worse. An Arab-like older man picked us up after waiting about 45 minutes after landing. He pulled into the loading area and pointed to the rear for us to load our luggage in the trunk of the small van. We both have back problems and asked him if he could load the luggage into the van. He did not even answer. He looked at us as if to say "you are strong women". Disrespectful and unprofessionally cheesy. The "covered" parking could only hold two (2) vehicles. As we got into the vehicle, we noticed small ants in and around my vehicle. I've never had to exterminate a vehicle before! He had us blocked in so we had to wait for him to get in his vehicle to let us out. We were overcharged and are currently seeking a refund for the overage. It was the worse experience in airport parking and not worth the price. I DO NOT Recommend d!!! First the business has no visible sign, so you may pass it. Do not expect prompt or courteous service. Basically a one man show, parking lot is overcrowded and tight. Park yourself and walk to locked office. If he is there you will fill out additional paperwork even though your reservation was done on line. Very 1990. Took forever to get to the airport waiting on this one man to check in other customers so he can load you up in the one mini van and deliver you to the terminal. Horrible I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemy. Took 40 minutes to get picked up from the airport. Once I get back to the parking lot the old man parks in from of the gate so I couldn't leave. I kept asking him to move the van so I can leave I had already prepaid and had a 6 hour drive. He kept saying you'll get out, still wouldn't move so I ask him again and he still moving slow saying the same thing. The lots are limited and close randomly due to space issues. Required to park in old economy lot 10 minutes away and wait for airport shuttles that are slow to load and slow overall. This causes people to be late for flights even when they arrive early. 45 minute process. read more

Bought tickets online, the lot was oversold and had no spaces so I had to leave my keys which I absolutely did not want to do and is not mentioned anywhere in their paperwork, on the website, or on the ticket. If something had happened to my car while they were moving it, I would have been completely out of luck. The owner was very rude and confrontational from the get-go. They have one van, like a literal van. A soccer mom style van, so if you want to ride to and from the airport with more than 4 people, you're screwed. The driver was friendly and nice. Coming back, the van was extremely delayed getting us because the owner had not renewed his airport sticker/registration, so the van had to go into the customer parking lot instead of the actual shuttle pick up zone. I was amazed to receive my car back in one piece. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE. I DID NOT LOOK FOR REVIEWS BECAUSE I NEEDED TO BOOK IN A HUGE HURRY! Very poor service for the parking garage and in customer service. They work to squeeze every penny out of you that they can get, even if it's dishonest. We pre-paid for parking for several days and got double charged for those days because we pulled a ticket at check in as well. when we tried to show that we had already paid for the dates we arrived and left, we were told we had to pay a second time or face charges and we could try to ask for a refund through customer service. when addressed with CS, they denied refunding although we had solid proof in the form of tickets for enter and exit dates as well as our prepaid ticket. I would not recommend pre-paying for the reserved ticket space because of this. Overall, a disappointing company. We could have paid for closer parking for the price. If I could give this place negative stars I would! This is the most unprofessional trifling airport parking ever! Use US Park because this place only has ONE Sienna to get you to and from the airport. & I hope you don't need help loading your bags into the van because you will be sh*t out of luck. You have to wait almost 40 minutes to get to the airport if there is someone before for you. When you arrive to new orleans that's another 30 minute wait to be picked up. Best airport parking for MSY! I have used them a few times. They are the cheapest ($6.50 per day), they have a secure facility, and they pick you up in 5 minutes after you call them. Very friendly service too! All the drivers are really nice, helped me with my bags, asked me how my day was... all that stuff. SPECIAL NOTE: When you get back to MSY they pick you up at the Transportation Center. If you are at the very forward most baggage claim (directly under Southwest), you cross the street go into / under the parking garage and you'll see the sign for Transportation Center. read more

I feel like this location is not given a chance. This is the former short term parking when the old airport was in more use. I found it easy to park. Coming down the stairs, I was pleasantly surprised when I could check my bag there, and it would make it to my flight(s) and final destination, which turned out to be true. Of course it is a bit beyond where you would want to walk to the terminal. I have not been to many major airports where the long term parking are close to the terminal. The shuttle was quick both ways to and from the airport. It was $12 a day for parking, which is really a reasonable cost as the day I left, UBER prices were surging due to Mardi Gras, and the day I came back, it was near midnight, and prices were surging. I will park here again if needed. Be kind to the attendants. They deal with a lot of people, and some can be grumpy due to travel issues. read more

It's a pretty sparse lot a bit beyond where you'd want to walk from the airport. The shuttle took some time, particularly when I was picking up my car upon my return. They were crowded, but they were organized. However, there aren't a ton of options for transportation at this airport, and this one saved me some money. LIARS!!! The shuttle does NOT run every 15 minutes. When we arrived their one and only MINIVAN was being loaded by others. The driver came to us and said he had to bring these people to the airport then come back to shuttle us. When I said that would be more than 15 minutes he said "not the way I drive." We waited 28 minutes for him to return and subsequently missed the cutoff for luggage checkin, thus missed our 5 a.m. flight. At the writing of this review, we are still at our connecting city and one of us is ON STANDBY to get to our destination, all because of their false advertisement. DO NOT pre pay for the parking online. It DID NOT save any money, and actually cost more because of the transaction fee. I accidentally pulled a ticket on top of prepaying online and when we got back I realized the mistake I had made. I was given an email to send both receipts paid to so that I could get one refunded (didnt see the point of double paying for parking). I was emailed back and told they wouldn't refund anything and that it very clear on not pulling a ticket. I will say that some of the staff is friendly and service oriented, at least on the day I checked in and out. But they have also been there less than 3 months and already frustrated with their working conditions. HOWEVER! At exit the charge was already prepared and when I asked for a detailed invoice, it could not be provided. I was told to call back for the manager who would be back in several hours. Still not available. Another day, and called again, and still no manager available. When I checked in several days ago, there was only 1 employee available to be cashier, parker, shuttle driver and to answer the phone. When I returned, it was a different person but the staffing issue was the same. The on duty agent should have taken my name and number and offered to have the manager call me back, but 2 separate agents and neither offered. I will pursue with a Credit Card dispute at this point, and of course, never park here again. **Note, I should have read the Yelp reviews first as it's clear my experience is the norm. My flight was cancelled yesterday. I attempted to cancel my reservation on their webiste, but the website was not operational. I called the phone number on the website. I was told that I would have to wait till it got fixed but that I needed to cancel the reservation. I emailed the customer service folks, twice and the conversation was much the same. This is not right. I will be disputing any charges made to my card. I had booked in advance through AirPortParkingReservations.com with a $15.99 advance deposit to ensure I would be able to find parking the day before Thanksgiving. Showed up and called the number on the door which went to the driver, he said someone would be with me shortly or he would be back in about 15 minutes -- so I'm already starting to get nervous because of how full the lot appears to be. About 10 minutes later a man is putting cones in front of the entry and says the following to me after I showed him my reservation paperwork: "Sir, I know you have reservation...but we are full." So clearly this POS doesn't even know what the word "reservation" means, and I'm in complete shock thinking I'm going to miss my holiday flight. Aside from the cheap price, this is a horrible place. I came back from my flight to seeing missing paint along my whole back bumper as if someone rear ended me. This was a rental car, so I had pictures of what the vehicle looked like when I first got possession of it for liability. So, I immediately pulled up the picture just in case I was wrong and low abs behold, the bumper was in perfect condition before. When my husband and I arrived at the lot at approximately 5:00 am for a 6:30 am flight, the lot was dark, cars were jammed in the lot as well as cars parked on Airline Highway and along a canal. I walked to the office area, spoke to the attendant only to be told that the lot was full and he could not honor my reservation. We were left with trying to find a different parking lot In a very short time. We were lucky enough to get a space at another parking lot and barely make our flight. I had a reservation for parking. The QR code would not scan at the gate. I saw nothing saying to call for help and had cars behind me. I pulled a ticket and even went back after I parked to see if I could scan the code or what to do. I called the office from the terminal when I went in to see what to do or if I should cancel my reservation. I was told I could not cancel the reservation and I should explain the situation to the gate when I leave. I told the woman at the gate when I went to leave and she got angry and told me there was nothing she could do. She gave me an email address and phone number to get it straight. I paid the $100 and contacted the phone number. The woman on the phone said that it was my fault and I just had to pay twice. There was nothing they could do. This is not my fault! They need to either fix the scanners or send a code that works in the first place. Its not reasonable to expect that when you are trying to catch a flight and have cars in line behind you that to attempt to figure out who the heck to call and sit there and wait at the gate. I saw nothing that said to call for help. Its it possible I missed it, maybe, but I feel sure I would have seen it when I walked back up. I understand that my reservation holds a spot, that's why I called from the terminal. All I was told was I couldn't cancel my reservation. If this was a $20 parking charge, maybe Id get over it but this was $102 charged for the reservation and $100 at the gate. Basically I was told "tuff luck". read more

Come to find out, there was no one there. He had gone on a coffee run, which put us behind schedule. Then as he was driving us to the airport, he started dozing off to sleep! Rating this place 1 star is being generous. This was a last minute choice because the other 2 places (Park n Fly & USPARK) were already full. I will never use this place again. They are slow and unorganized. Almost made another couple late because we sat in the shuttle while waiting for them to finish getting a few more customers checked in. Again I mention they are unorganized so it took a long time. Then the shuttle drove around and up and down looking for more customers to hop in the shuttle. The "covered parking" is the little building where the office is. Yes it is covered but only fits 3 vehicles. Upon my return I stood there and waited for roughly 10 minutes before I finally called. The guy tried to imply I wasn't in the right area. I explained where I was and then he tried to play it off and proceed to say oh oh yeah the shuttle is on its way. Meaning more like they haven't left yet. There was another female standing there waiting as well and had called them also. The shuttle arrives, we hop in ready to be taken to our vehicles and the driver says he is waiting on a few more people so hops out of vehicle and goes and stands by the elevators. After roughly 5-10 mins another female enters and we are taken to the lot. They don't explain the charges or taxes. What they charge doesn't add up. I left Friday evening and returned Sunday evening and paid close to $50. To make it even worse none of us could leave because we were all blocked in by other vehicles. Absolutely Terrible! Don't believe the good reviews On my way out of town on a Friday, I made a reservation online a few days ahead of time. When I got there the lot was almost full. They had to turn away vehicles.... These guys do not seem to honor online reservations on busy days so if you choose these guys during a holiday or busy weekend have a plan B. On the way back home on a Tuesday, I waited almost an hour after calling them to get picked up from the airport. There was group of about 10 of us who had waited for a long time ( it seems Nola Parking has only one small van to pick up arrivals). Once we finally arrived to the Nola Parking lot, each customer in line to pay ran into issues. One person got charged twice, another person was overcharged 20 dollars, a person's keys were lost, the card machine became locked and they didn't have the password, they tried to charge someone tax for every day their car was there... After it was all said and done it took me almost two hours to get my car. I even had to get out of my car after paying to have them open the gate to let me out the lot since they don't pay attention to when people are leaving. This place is pretty great. It's the cheapest "park and fly" concept parking facility near the airport. At $6.50 a day it beats US Park and Park N Fly by about $2 a day which can really add up over a long trip. Plus it means less taxes. I found the staff to be very nice and the facility seemed secure and is open 24 hours. I have parked there twice without issue. It is a little harder to find bc you have to turn left onto airline drive from the I-10 airport service road but it adds an extra 3 minutes so not a big deal for $2 a day in savings. Only con is that they have one van which is smaller than the larger vans provided for other facilties. Hopefully they will get a larger van as they grow. read more

I've only parked here once, but it was a great experience. I was a little skeptical- all the other places were booked and when we got there one of the greeters asked if I would be comfortable leaving my keys - I was not. I had a reservation, but the attendant said lot's full regardless which was disappointing. I drive a small honda fit, so he found a lone spot that I could fit into conveniently and still be able for me to take the keys. Both drivers (to and from) the airport were excellent and the reason for the five stars - highly personable, humorous, prompt and professional. When I checked out they mentioned next time I book I should print out their $3.50 coupon online and said if I come back 3 more times, the fourth time I get $7.50 off (like a punch card). My family of five had to wait for almost an hour before getting picked up. It would have been longer but the family in front of us took an Uber to the parking lot. What made it worse, is when I called the driver he said he be there in a few minutes and essentially lied. The prices aren't any better than the other offsite parking. Have parked here for years many times. I had a flight cancel once before and they let me come back to pick up my car without charging me and the owner was previously very friendly and helpful. Today, my flight cancelled and I was rebooked for 4 hours later so went back to pick up my car. Not only did they charge me for a full day for the twenty minutes I was at the airport but they said they would charge me again for the day when I brought the car back for my rescheduled flight. Worst experience ever. They couldn't find the clicker to let me out. Driver was asleep in the car when I got there. I was double charged and watched them do it in front of my own eyes. I have now been calling for three days. The owner told me he didn't have time to fix it and "if that really happened" he would take care of it and call me back. Still no call back. Money still gone from my account. Now I'm calling and the owner isn't there and "no one can do it but the boss." It isn't worth the savings to park here and the customer service is atrocious. Upon our arrival I was told that my Jeep Cherokee would be $10.00/24 ours plus tax. The parking and getting to the airport was a smooth experience. It was when we returned home that they chose to play games and over charge me. Suddenly my small SUV was considered a large one and I was charged $12.50 a day plus taxes. In all, this lead to an increase of just over $16.00. I tried to discuss the matter when the employee he became angry, raised his voice, and then told me I had to call back. When I called the next day he (the same man that overcharged me) told me that my ticket was for a dodge van. I assured him it was a Cherokee and he then agreed. He took my name and number down and told me that since SUVs are tricky he would have the owner call me back. I called back on Friday and spoke with a women who told me that Cherokee's are supposed to be $10.00 plus tax, however became rude when I asked for her name and told me to call back. When I called back I asked for the manager/owner, but got the man again who told me they had been far too busy to deal with this and I would hear back eventually. I was truly hoping that they would rectify the situation, but they chose not too. I will also add that the pickup experience was awful as we had to wait about 30 minutes, even though we (and other passengers) called. This place has faults advertising and is pretty much completely deserted. There's a billboard on the way there that says 850 a day so we went in we can't find anyone there is Apsley no one anywhere all the doors are locked and then this man comes up to us and tells us that it's $10 a day. Which there is also a sign at the actual location it's at $10 a day even though the billboard clearly said 850. The guy told us that he knows that the billboard says 850 but we have to pay $10 a day.
