The techs who did the floors were just wonderful; they were professional and courteous, and in just a couple of hours, my floors were transformed from grungy to glitzy! He…read moreinspected our floors and suggested that some rooms could be sanded but one room in back had already been sanded down pretty thin so did not recommend any further sanding. I trusted his expertise so we had him give us quote for replacement vs screening that room. We went with screening the existing floors and it looks much better. The rooms they sanded look prefect! I was really impressed with the two areas where we had them remove old floor furnaces and patch with new wood, it looks great and they staggered birds so you really can't tell any difference. The team was very professional and worked hard to get job done quickly. Only downside is the strong smell of the polyurethane. I'm really sensitive to chemical smells, so I tried to air out house by opening windows/doors. It has faded, but I still notice it when I come home. If you're trying to keep your home air quality safe, consider asking about low or zero VOC polyurethane, I wish I had.
