Several weeks go by and I received the same generic text with their pricing. I specifically asked if they could book my service now 2 and a half months after the initial request. Got another generic text with pricing telling me to let them know if I had any questions. Good luck speaking with someone.

My restored (in 2004) clawfoot tub needed some refurbishment. The small divot had become a crater with a crack running away from it. AND then there was rust stain at the drain where they allowed water to drip. I hunted around Yelp and the internet and the BBB for a tub refinisher. And then I thought to call the general contractor who redid the bathroom in the other half of my double and she highly recommended Southern Refinishing. I called them and booked an appointment two weeks later and I wasn't really sure...was the guy just coming out to look at it or what. He arrived said he could take care of the problem right then or come back but that the bathtub would be unusable for 48 hours. They were done in less than an hour and it looks amazing (see my pictures). They were really professional and neat. *warning* the smell is potent. So you might want to complete this sort of project when you do NOT need to sleep in the next room. I think this would be the case for any company used.

The techs who did the floors were just wonderful; they were professional and courteous, and in just a couple of hours, my floors were transformed from grungy to glitzy! I took one star off because nobody showed up on the day they were originally supposed to. When I called, DeWayne said he'd texted me the night before telling me the job would be delayed by a day. I looked through my texts and saw that he hadn't texted, but he insusted that he did. Annoying.

I trusted his expertise so we had him give us quote for replacement vs screening that room. We went with screening the existing floors and it looks much better. The rooms they sanded look prefect! I was really impressed with the two areas where we had them remove old floor furnaces and patch with new wood, it looks great and they staggered birds so you really can't tell any difference. The team was very professional and worked hard to get job done quickly. Only downside is the strong smell of the polyurethane. I'm really sensitive to chemical smells, so I tried to air out house by opening windows/doors. It has faded, but I still notice it when I come home. If you're trying to keep your home air quality safe, consider asking about low or zero VOC polyurethane, I wish I had.
