I watched him instruct a medical student and he described the reasons why he was doing everything he did. It was incredible. From pain-free infections to the way he wrapped the bandages everything was very well thought through. Dr. Stoddard did same-day x-rays and diagnosed a difficult to see bone condition (arthritis) in my left foot that other doctors had missed, and he performed a same-day cortisone injection. I had two follow-up in-office surgeries that went very well and I now have no more toenail fungus! We discussed everything from quantum mechanics and relativity to some of the pioneering surgical techniques he is working on. I recommend Sundance foot and ankle to everyone that I meet who needs foot help. Number one for a doctor is competence, but if you can also get excellence, humility and kindness, then look no further.

My husband told me he met with a lawyer for divorce last night. I have texts from Isaac today that show we've only had 4-5 sessions as a couple in the last year. The last one was over 6 months ago, and I've been asking for a couples session since Nov with no appointment priority to a couples session. I've been questioning using the same therapist from the beginning, because when I had just 2 individual therapy sessions with him he would validate me while telling me he needed to figure out why my husband couldn't do any of the tools provided. He even said he believed he could have autistic tendencies that might prevent him from ever being a support to me, which I never believed. But now I question his influence on my husband whose been seeing him for 6 months, not just 2 sessions. I didn't see the writing soon enough on the wall that Isaac could've been doing the exact thing with my husband, minimizing me and my capabilities, and this would destroy any success in our relationship. I started to bring this up to my husband last month, because Isaac is also seeing my son, I got very concerned at where therapy has been going for the both of them when my son renounced all relationship with me. I, on the other hand began seeing a different therapist, and specifically asked him to only work on me, so that I could be able to be strong in my heart only, without intimidation which I was using to protect my heart in our marital struggles. Great changes have been happening for me and my heart. My husband's recent text to me less than 2 weeks ago said, "Your heart shines through. I can feel it." My daughter has been saying the same. In Isaac's texts this morning, he said that it's because I'm better that he and my son are unable to cope. He called it an aversive reaction. There are so many things that make no sense. The biggest is that we were supposed to just work on ourselves only, then return to couples therapy to see if the changes would be enough to save the marriage. My husband will tell me how Isaac validates and agrees that I'm not a part of his healing. How is that working only on him, if he's talking about me/us? To make such a drastic decision with only 4-5 sessions together, after 20+ years of dysfunction seems unreasonable to me. And it's this reason that I'm still going to fight for my husband and family. If anything, shouldn't we have a therapist, at this point in the game, evaluate the success or inability to succeed now. It's possible it's too late, but I'm hoping, that my husband will realize we deserve to give us and our sweet little family our all.

I drove a 70-mile round trip, arranged childcare, and showed up in good faith because I had seen him before. He only sent $80 and then proceeded with every excuse possible -- "my friend has the rest," "trust me for Monday," "just trust me," etc. -- instead of paying the agreed amount he had already confirmed. This is straight-up dishonest and disrespectful behavior from someone who presents himself as a licensed healthcare professional. Do not trust him with your time, your money, or your safety. NOT to pay up front. I told your clerk this and she refused to hear it. She would not allow my surgery to begin until she had received 50% payment and a payment plan set up and signed. I felt pressured and very bullied! All while in a very vulnerable situation. I was nervous for my procedure and in a HOSPITAL GOWN. Is this how you run your business?!?!?!? I just got off the phone with my insurance company (DMBA), and they confirmed that I was not obligated to pay upfront. IT IS A NEGOTIATED ITEM WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY that I am responsible for my out-of-pocket max AFTER the insurance has paid. YOU BROKE CONTRACT with this behaviour. Nursing and medical staff were wonderful but sadly Billing department overshadowed everything else positive and I will not be having any other procedures here again.
