My insurance company has told me that my obligation to pay is on the remainder amount AFTER it has been submitted and the insurance company has paid the negotiated, contracted amount. NOT to pay up front. I told your clerk this and she refused to hear it. She would not allow my surgery to begin until she had received 50% payment and a payment plan set up and signed. I felt pressured and very bullied! All while in a very vulnerable situation. I was nervous for my procedure and in a HOSPITAL GOWN. Is this how you run your business?!?!?!? I just got off the phone with my insurance company (DMBA), and they confirmed that I was not obligated to pay upfront. IT IS A NEGOTIATED ITEM WITH THE INSURANCE COMPANY that I am responsible for my out-of-pocket max AFTER the insurance has paid. YOU BROKE CONTRACT with this behaviour. Nursing and medical staff were wonderful but sadly Billing department overshadowed everything else positive and I will not be having any other procedures here again.

I've been in and out of multiple ERS and I was skeptical of payson because of experiences years prior. However, they must have gotten new staff or management because this was a much better experience. I forgot my doctor's name which I will try to add to the review later. However, they were in the room right away, made sure to listen to my concerns and explained why things are the way they are. Very understanding and not judgmental. Was in and out of the hospital in two hours and feeling out of pain right now hours later. It left me searching for a new pediatrician. We were worried about possible seizures and wanted to talk to them about some sensory behaviors that my sons preschool had pointed out to me. We were experiencing it in kindergarten as well and didn't know where to turn for help. So I spent several hours reading reviews and choose based off what I had read to come to Utah Valley Pediatrics. We scheduled with a doctor who will remain un-named because this is not about him. He gave us a list of psychologists to test and work with my son on the sensory end. We have taken him to a psychologist and have been getting him help. With school starting the wearing of a mask is proving to be something thats too much for him. So I had the psychologist write a letter and took it to the school. I was told that my letter from the psychologist would not be sufficient to make my son exempt from wearing a mask. I was told that I had to get a signed form from a medical doctor. So I called Utah Valley Pediatrics office told them of my dilemma and told them I could bring in the letter from the psychologist and after 3 phone calls and checking and double checking I was told they have a COMPANY WIDE POLICY NOT to sign ANY mask exempt forms of any kind. Are you kidding me. They are the ones who gave me the list of psychologist to go to for help. If they can not do whats best for their patients on a patient by patient basis and make decisions based off the medical knowledge they have there is no way I'd ever trust them with any of my children. I MISS my old pediatrician!!

But the nurses after her, pre and post delivery we're not great and did not listen to my wishes at all. They would take my baby to do some kind of exams and then wouldn't bring him back until I asked to get him back, he would come back to me frazzled and not want to eat and then the nurses would pressure me to get him to eat. The on call pediatrician was horrible, he said my son had jaundice so we went home with a blue light and then we never were able to get ahold of him afterwards. I won't ever be going here again and am so sad that because of this experience I worry about giving birth a second time.

She needed surgery and he went out of his way to help us. Dr. Nielsen got her into surgery quickly and had to contact reps to get last minute supplies for her surgery. My friend has worked with him in the OR and told me he's the very best. It's always nice to hear from people in the OR that the doctor is the best! So grateful for Dr. Nielsen and his team for taking such great care of my family!

Dr. Nielsen listen to our problems and gave us a choice of three different treatments. He was just wonderful!! He took a special interest in our case and did not just brushes off saying that he could not help us. He helped us understand the problems with my wife's knee and gave us detailed descriptions of the treatments that he could do. We highly recommend Dr. Scott Nielsen to anyone who has knee problems and has gone to other doctors without satisfaction. Dr. Nielsen is just fantastic.... a dream come true.

I waited over an hour past my appointment time to be seen. The girl that took blood had to give up on one arm and try the other (I have never had problems with people taking blood before). The real disaster though is their billing department. What a joke! They took $10 of my copay and put it towards the blood draw - instead of billing the insurance for it. I got 3 statements from them all saying I made of payment of $15 and still owed them $10. I called and talked to the incompetent billing department each time with reassurances that it had been fixed, and I wouldn't be hearing from them again. I even got the statement from my health insurance company indicating they had been billed for the $10 (finally) and that it was covered. I was more than a little upset when a 4th statement came in the mail today again saying I had only made a $15 payment and still owed them $10. I called and spoke to someone in the supervisor department. I have once again been reassured that it's been fixed, and I shouldn't see a statement from them again. I will never return to any revere health operated facility again!
