The atmosphere was awesome, she did a great job, and the price was very reasonable. I thought I had found my new spot. However, I stopped in today to get another cut, and the experience wasn't the same. There was one gentleman there--he wasn't rude--but he said he had someone coming and that the other stylist was out, so no one could take me. What I liked before was that you could just walk in and they'd usually find a way to fit you in or at least offer another time. This time, I wasn't given a wait time or any other options--just told they couldn't cut my hair. If you're looking to walk in, don't. Make an appointment instead. There are other barbershops in the area that are much more accommodating to walk-ins.

When you come, try to swing by "Dawn's sweets" a few doors down for some delicious baked goods. There's also a really awesome snowball stand across the street "Mrs. V's" that stays open until 7pm some days. AND Jackson Park right up the street with a splash pad for kids.
