I loved Park House the restaurant, and had many fun times there, but I do think that this spot being an Events Center is its rightful place as a treasure in our city. Architecturally, this place is so beautiful, and also such a great set up for an event location. The bar area is naturally separate from the rest of the restaurant, so a cocktail hour is easily contained within the bar and cocktail area. When it was time to open up the assigned seating, which fanned out from a fun dance floor and DJ area in the middle of the room, we found our seats easily and could see the head table and all the action on the dance floor. Offering a panoramic view of the Myriad Gardens and the city beyond, you get both the view of the park and all it's natural beauty, plus a view of the Colcord, the Devon tower and the rest of the city beyond. I can't think of any other place in the city where you can find such a perfect mix of natural and manmade beauty nearly everywhere you like. If you're a little bit country and she's a little bit rock and roll, this is the wedding and reception venue of your dreams. Add to that features like a great set up for guest drop off and valet parking, you'd be hard-pressed to find a better location for private events in OKC.

However, the price tag was completely unreasonable for what was provided. $125 apiece and only included half a glass of champagne. We ordered two additional glasses of wine, a cocktail and two beers for another $60 plus tip, bringing our total for the night to over $300 for two. The dining experience, however delicious, was not worth $300, especially to not have individualized meals or service. The tables were not comfortable to hang out at after dinner. I would not recommend the event to anyone at that price. To better reflect the experience, I would put the price at $75 and no more than $100 apiece. $125 would have been slightly more reasonable had it been open bar, but as stated, it was not.

He did a GREAT job with everything. He would check in with me throughout the night to make sure everything was going alright. The songs were very appropriate for a high school dance: the teachers and principals were pleased and so were the students (not an easy task). We also used their mirror photo booth also which the kids LOVED. At one point, the printer ran out of paper and Logan fixed everything, but he also had someone bring another printer, just in case. Being a public school, the way we have to pay for services is a little different and Logan was very accommodating and patient with all of that. Thanks for everything!

We knew when we started planning this was going to be a very important part of the event but we didn't even consider just how much of a role the DJ/MC would play in the flow of things. We had a kind of unconventional open mic session of toasts and benedictions. My husband and I had a beautiful time hearing stories and it would NOT have been that way without Mikey (DJ/MC) running the show. By the end of the night, everyone was on the dance floor and were worn out! 405 Productions suggested the mirror photo booth and they were absolutely right--the mirror photo booth was an absolute hit. Logan not only made everyone happy at the photo booth but he was soooooo helpful with our guest book and we are very thankful for that. Our guest book is an amazing souvenir. We requested digital copies of our photo booth pictures (and asked for a photo or two to be removed) and a rough list of the reception playlist (we had so many compliments) and they were again very accommodating and happy to deliver. Lastly, They were awesome communicators and organizers with the whole event. I don't know if texting is how people normally handle this stuff but it was a breath of fresh air in terms of organizing - especially on the go and since we were organizing with other people. They really blew us away and we are so grateful that we have such positive memories with all of our family and friends. They are well worth your money!

In 1985, a young, teenage Robin Alvis was rocking in the band, Ibex, performing by night and storing the band's show equipment in his parents' garage by day. Recognizing a business opportunity, Robin also rented out the band's staging and lighting during down time - thus, Toucan Productions was born. As the years rolled on, Robin acquired more equipment, and in turn, began focusing more on putting on killer shows for others and less on his own. Misty Myers joined Toucan in 1991, just as the new decade was taking root. Her entrance into the business was marked with growth. Toucan moved into a more legitimate warehouse space and also added several more full-time team members. There was another gal there who ran the refreshment stand and also helped us. We could always easily get help if we needed it. The concession stand was pretty good. They had beer and wine and a bunch of canned stuff like margaritas and piña colada's, things like that. They also had soda and chips. It was a good "snack only" concession stand. Overall, we had a great night and I would highly recommend this place..
