I had a very unfortunate interaction here today. While I have not gotten my hair done here, I do purchase products from them so when my toddler had to use the bathroom I didn't hesitate to use their parking lot for a mere 5 minutes to run her across the street....i came back to two women verbally harassing me (while I'm holding a two year old) and threatening me saying they've already called a tow truck on me. It was so gross to be spoken to like that by other women while holding a child. There were multiple open parking spaces and like I said I was parked there for a minuscule amount of time. ***BEWARE*** I saw a stylist at this salon, Jazz and 1) she completely ruined my hair!!!! I was supposed to get a beige blonde, but it's an off-orange tone on top and an ugly green tone on the bottom!!! 2)She was only supposed to take off 2" but it looks like she took off close to 5" or more. 3)She was extremely deceptive to me and from my pov seems to be fraudulent. She used photos of me on her IG account without getting my permission, and even worse, she digitally-altered the photo of me on her IG account to make my (and possibly other clients' hair) look worse in the "before" photos and better in the "after" photos than they actually are!!! I'm especially upset because I choose her to do my hair BASED on her IG account and how good she appeared to be, but now I realize my judgement was all probably based on lies and fake photos by her. I have photos & screenshots of all the main points I am making in this review. ^ This is the short story! More Details: The stylist I strongly recommend you to avoid is named Jazz Hainer. When I politely and respectfully reached out to her within 36 hrs of my appointment at 9AM to see if she could remedy the catastrophe she created, she ignored my text until I texted her again at 5PM when she said she could only see me on Wed, I promptly replied it would not work as I'm going out of town on Tues. I told her that my hair is so god-awful that I'm wearing a hat to go out in public, and not only did I have thanksgiving to attend, but I'm also going to a wedding, so I can be understanding if she couldn't see me within 5 days, but then could she please understand that I needed to receive a refund so I could make an appointment to fix what she did with someone who could see me in that time frame, and also because *I paid for a service and I did not receive that service.* FURTHERMORE because of how severely she botched my hair, my original stylist said I will need a COLOR CORRECTION which is $$$$$. She then had the audacity to send me her digitally-altered photos she took of my hair & when I said something like "that's not what my hair looked like, you must have used filters" she sent "laughing" emoji's to passive aggressively mock me. I sent an honest "before" photo of my hair that I took the day of the appointment & I sent an honest "after" photo that I took in natural light to prove my point to her. Her response? She completely ghosted me; Any thing else I asked her or tried to discuss with her since her laughing emoji has gone completely ignored. Importantly, before that happened, when I asked for a refund she said she "doesn't allow refunds." But she had never ever said that verbally nor had it written anywhere. She also said "the policy is on her booking site", well, I looked all through her booking site and NOWHERE DOES IT SAY that. (Again I have photos of this) so is she lying again? I never signed anything agreeing to a "no refund policy." She is capable of giving a refund. She is just being completely unprofessional and inconsiderate in refusing to do so. I also want to state that I've been getting my hair dyed regularly for over 20 years and *I have never asked for a refund*, I've never asked for my hair to even be "fixed", I've never even left a single negative review for a hair stylist. So that should show the type of person I am--generally very satisfied with my results & easy-going--and that should testify to what an atrocious job Jazz has done. Smaller Issues that I initially overlooked because I'm very understanding, but now I see people need to know the truth about Jazz: my appointment was for 3:30 PM, she didn't see me until 4:20 PM. She double-booked me and didn't even ask me ahead of time if that would be okay. I sat with dripping-wet hair for approx. 30 mins doing nothing while she attended to her other client. I paid for a Gloss, and I don't believe I received one because they normally come after the toner but she said she combined them. She was on her cell phone and very negligent throughout my appo. She had her boyfriend come in and sit on the chair only a feet from me, she gave him a beer and they held personal conversations bashing his Ex/the mother of her stepdaughter in front of me. I'll let you decide if thats something you want when you go to a salon. So my hair not only looks horrible but it has been damaged by her bleaching process, I've lost a significant amount of money, even if I were to receive a full refund that still will not cover the cost of an expensive Color Correction which will also further damage my hair and take more of my time, it took 4.5 hours of time at the salon and has taken countless hours trying to communicate with Jazz. The way the Salon has handled the situation is atrocious as well, so they are only deserving of 1 star. read more

Evelyn is the best. She takes the complication and stress out of figuring out my hair. I have very coarse, color damaged (bleached then fashion colored), thick, wavy, Indian hair. And when I moved here in August from Chicago I had no idea what to do with it in this San Diego humidity, salt, and sun. The moisture, after all the color damage I did, was making my hair break off! Evelyn stepped in with a medium (not poker straight) Brazilian blowout to weather proof my hair until the color damage grew out and keep my soft waves. She unified my color base to this pretty golden neutral brown. She even cleaned up my wonky cut, and helped come up with a plan of action for what we would need to do in the next few appointments to get my hair where we wanted. Talking with her is always very real and down to earth. I don't feel like I'm talking to a façade which is HUGE in this industry. I always have so much fun, and as someone who is typically shy and introverted, I feel 100% comfortable. I've been going to Tawnya Proctor for a couple of years now. She is amazing! I initially went to her for a color correction and she was not only able to get my then green hair to platinum blonde she was also able to get it to grow. My hair was short, below my ears and is now down my back. She keeps me platinum blonde and healthy. Noni is a beautiful, clean salon. They use high quality products and are all very friendly. I look forward to my monthly pampering and can have a hot tea or glass of wine during my treatments. Jazz is freakin' talented. It has been three years of trying to get back to my platinum blonde days and no colorist in my area back home has been able to pull it off. Jazz did it flawlessly (well, to her there were imperfections but I didn't notice any... that just speaks to her perfectionism!). She turned my "yellow platinum" to a stunningly ice platinum. She didn't risk washing too early to save time, instead she was patient with my stubborn hair to be sure we were allowing the color to set. The prices are fair. Except now I have to spend more money to fly across two states to have Jazz do my hair, because I don't know that I'll trust someone else to do it as well as she can. I walked in and the receptionist Amanda had the raddest red hair that I wish I could pull off, within seconds she offered me a drink, she served me a yummy mimosa. I could have chatted with her all day but right on time Christine my esthetician came to get me and we started. I met her through a friend and was excited to hear she was an estetician as I had been craving some pampering. Noni Salon was easy to find and has a very nice parking lot behind the salon. Three of four people greeted me, introduced themselves, and offered water, coffee, tea, or hot chocolate as I waited for my appointment. Jennifer's room was cozy, clean, and cute. The bed was heated and linens were soooo comfy! Jennifer uses Rhonda Allison Skincare products and those felt fresh and cleansing. Glory saved me & my hair! I started out with box dye black hair & tried to go blonde. I was unhappy with my natural grassiness tone yet she got me to where I wanted to be, while still taking care of my hair.
