I went to their love fest! I've never been here before and it was such a great event! They had vendors for jewelry, chocolate, tea, ear seeding, skincare, and flowers. They had mini spa services, sound bath, wine, desserts, and mini burritos. I ate some brownies and cake pops! There was a raffle as well. Everyone had so much great stuff I wanted to buy, but I was limited to only getting a few things At least there was samples! The place was so cute and relaxing. Everyone was so welcoming! We were able to snag the last massages of the night. We didn't know we were supposed to book ahead, but we at least got in one service. I also did ear seeding for my lower back, hips, sciatica, and piriformis muscle. I also got chocolate samples, some had mushrooms in them. I also got a sample of red light therapy, which was relaxing, but the wine didn't mix well with it because I got a little nauseous afterwards. First time here. prices are reasonable! My massage was fantastic - i did two add ons and it unfortunately made my massage shorter. i paid for a 60 minute with add ons it was still 60 minutes so i got a shorter massage if that makes sense. i added on the head massage which felt so good but was so short. i also added on the nasal facial massage very short as well. if i were to do again not sure id do add ons. the space is beautiful and entire staff was very warm and mind. the train also runs right by the spa so it gets loud during massages- not their fault but was jarring. read more

I'm pretty bummed writing this because I've always loved Four Moons and have had great experiences here in the past. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was really disappointing. I booked a 75-minute deep tissue massage last minute, and when I arrived, the therapist told me she would be giving me a "medical massage." I wasn't sure what that meant, but assumed it would be similar to deep tissue. That didn't end up being the case. During the session, she tried to engage in full conversations multiple times. She was very kind and friendly, but I was hoping for a quiet, relaxing experience. More importantly, the massage itself didn't feel like a deep tissue at all. It was mostly light pressure with oil and minimal focused work. I left feeling like I hadn't really received a proper massage. The overall experience felt a bit chaotic and not very relaxing, which was disappointing given how much I've enjoyed this place before. Especially for the price point, around $260, I expected a much better experience. I'm hoping this was just an off day, but it definitely didn't meet expectations and perhaps it's my fault for booking day of. read more

They have a cute gift shop on site with Eminence products. There are cute seating areas outside. It's unique in that it is partly outside and some of the services are done in these little cabins or tiny houses on the property. The yoga room was relaxing and beautiful. I love getting there early to lay out by the koi pond. First time I went, my therapist didn't go as deep as I like. But it was still great. Today I went with my girlfriend for a couples massage. Both of our therapists were so freaking amazing, including bodywork to personality! I had Bree and I can't for the life of me remember my friend's therapist's name (starts with a C, PLEASE forgive me but you are amazing) were so great. I love that they asked a ton of questions prior and throughout, ensuring they're really providing you with the proper treatment. I personally need like sumo wrestler full body weight pressure and I know I'm a challenge. Bree was so cool and hit all of the right notes. Sauna was good and just wha the dr ordered Massage was great and very relaxing. Downside for a first visit I wasn't given a tour or explained the day. It was my first official tarot reading so I had no idea what to expect, but I can say for sure the experience topped any expectations I had. I booked a spa day with my girl friend. We wanted to do a sauna and massage, and I was able to book over the phone. Unfortunately the day before our visit, I got a text saying the massage was not in use, but that they would give us a discount. While disappointed, we appreciated the discount. However the day of, the discount was not applied. I reached out after, to see if this could be cleared up, and to my surprise they were incredibly gracious about honoring their prior commitment. The massages themself were great. The room was heated and so were the beds. We each got water before and after the massage, as well as tea. Both of us have nothing but positive things to say about the ladies who did our massages, amazing pressure and the aromatherapy was amazing. My friend requested that they use her own personal oil, and they were very accommodating. Afterwards we lingered on the day beds, which was a nice treat. The customer service, on top of the amazing massages me and my friend got, makes this place a 5/5. We will definitely be back! read more

I wanted so badly to have a good experience at this spa based on the reviews and publicity it has received. I booked a mineral soak for today to give it a try and it was disappointing from the get go. I want to start this review off by saying, I have had many spa treatments at different spas, this is not as if I went in blind. Staff was unprofessional, no service offered other than an "oh do you want a bath robe" which was asked in a rude tone. The bath area was dirty (see images) with dead eucalyptus in the shower and cobwebs. I understand, yes, this is an outdoor area. With that being said you expect a certain level of cleanliness (ie, dirt in the corner cleaned, cobwebs kept under control, shoe marks from the last guest cleaned). The entire time, I could hear a pounding construction noise next door (listen to attached video). As a local in SD, I drove 45 minutes from downtown for this. I can get there are elements out of the spas control but what I expect in return is basic customer service. I left early it was so bad. When I went to tell the front desk on my way out about my experience, I was responded to with an "Oh, okay" once again in a passive tone with no further questions or concern. This is not customer service. Beautiful grounds but as a first time experience I will not be back and frankly would expect at bare minimum a refund for the service given the pounding noise the entire time I will also be reaching out to the spa directly via email. read more

From booking to after the treatments, Four Moons exceeded all standards. This is a spa experience for people truly wanting an oasis type experience. From the entrance to the beautiful courtyard where you can relax before and after your treatments, Four Moons is designed like a tropical getaway. I go yearly for my birthday to the Hotel Del Coronado for spa treatments all day, and I love their staff but the vibe is just not ideal for me. The greenery and beautiful coy pond at Four Moons made me (a San Diego born and raised) feel like I was in Hawaii. I love that they have a designated lot and it's one way. Much easier to drive in and out. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and have only received dead end after dead end for treatment through even the "best" western medicine. I've been in severe pain for a year or more, and I desperately am needing relief. Turning to Four Moons has given me hope for the first time in a long time. Alexa is truly a gifted soul who knows so much about healing energetic blockages and I cannot recommend her Craniosacral treatment enough to anyone who has chronic pain or related issues (anxiety, IBS, etc). After the first treatment I felt better than I have in over a year and immediately!!!!!! She took her time and made me feel like a friend from the time I was greeted. I always feel rushed by other spas after my treatments but I felt like a valued guest at someone's house here at Four Moons. Their gift shop has some incredible skincare products that are ORGANIC! I loved the fact that they also have bouquets of flowers near the entrance for purchase. I've never seen that in a self care place and what do we love more than a bouquet of flowers to top off a magical spa day? After my Craniosacral therapy with Alexa, I felt so grounded, but my fibromyalgia was making me feel like I needed to relax before driving. The kind ladies at the front offered me tea to let the experience set in, and that made me feel really seen and cared for. Amazing!!!!! I thought I booked a facial but I actually booked a massage so when I checked in I was confused and a little disappointed since I was really looking forward to a facial. Alexandra at the front desk was amazing and went above and beyond by looking at the schedule and worked her magic to get me a facial. I only had to wait an extra 15 minutes to make it work. The facial was wonderful. So relaxing and informative. I was a little concerned about my skin sensitivity and rosacea was flailing up from new face cream. Marlena listened to my concerns and evaluated my skin to make sure it was in good condition for the treatments. She told me that the products used are perfect for sensitive skin all natural. This spa is truly one of a kind! We booked a prenatal massage for my wife and a regular Swedish massage for me. My wife was a little nervous to get a massage being 30 weeks pregnant, but her masseuse was super knowledgeable and was very communicative to make sure she was comfortable. I had the same experience with my masseuse. The massages were some of the best we've had, and the ambiance/ vibe is second to none. Afterwards, we had a coupe of drinks and enjoyed the garden. The landscaping is beautiful and they have a super relaxing koi pond with an accompanying fountain. We sat on the deck chatting and enjoying the scenery for about an hour. I thought the grounds were beautiful but seemed a bit overpriced. I did like iced tea upon arrival. I got a facial and added on lymphatic drainage. The facial was just okay. While it was relaxing, there didn't seem to be anything more than adding on products and taking them off. There was steam but no extractions. There was nothing more than the face. I'm pretty sure most lymphatic drainage includes your neck since that's where your lymph nodes are located (for a facial). The service was still an hour even with the add on so it felt like a waste. It is located right next to the train which can't be helped but again a little overpriced for hearing a train every 15 minutes. Probably won't go back even though I loved the vibe. read more
