    Tacos on the menu

Does anyone know where else I can get Nori Tacos? They are in downtown Vancouver which I find hard to navigate. Noodle Road in Abbotsford has them. Ever since I tried them at the PNE this summer I have been hooked.

Dining area. Empty for now because we are having an early dinner

More than just a noodle place. We dined on goyoza and shrimp tempura. The menu said it came with two shrimp and four veggies but didn't list what kind. It seemed to have been four slices of potatoe. I would have preferred some green or orange veggies. There are a wide variety of ethnic food offerings around the area and I am glad we explored this location. Most of their business appeared to be take out. We were the only dine in customers. The interior decore is very nice.

There is nothing like fresh seafood, and there is no shortage in beautiful British Columbia. Add to that immaculately prepared hwae dup bap and its sheer bliss. Was that fresh flounder and fluke? OMG. The assortment of vegetable frise and seafood, together with good cho gochujang was off the charts. Warm environment, busy place. Spotless. There is nothing as gorgeous as fresh seafood prepared with finesse. Highly recommend.

Noodle house is not very huge but big enough to accommodate 25 people at a time. Its a family owned so only one server was serving all the tabels. Did pretty well though n i m not sure why didnt they have more servers as the service of food was effected. Menu had choices like sushi, tempura, lunch boxes, noodle soup, vermicelli, ramen and all that. Like good mix of east asian food. No non alcoholic drinks are served. My noodle soup bowl was so big that i thought it can be shared with 2 people. Apparently there was more soup n less noodles but the sea food was amazingly yummy. (Still love pho more) Oh yah !! they give fried dumpling kind of thing on house. Tasty . Once u finish eating , get ur bill n head to the counter to pay. Washroom is decent.

Came to town for a mini getaway, and was totally impressed with this unassuming strip mall restaurant. Read some reviews here and wanted to try for myself, I was greeted by the lady (I'm sure she is the Boss Lady) and she was the only server for the night, very friendly and professional, but most of all very efficient! I ordered the Pork Rib Spicy Soup and my partner had the Spicy Beef Soup, both came out piping hot! I am especially worried impressed with the single side dish: House Made Kimchi, just the right spiciness and very fresh! An absolute great compliment to the dinner, I really wish the Chef have more time to create other sides! Anyways, my overall satisfaction rate of the food items are very higher together with the way we were served, I'm giving this little gem a 5!

Spicy noodle soup. Seafood based and spicy!!

My second appearance at this cozy restaurant. I missed lunch but was too early for supper. Noodle soup! I thought about this place I tried last year. , and I was close by. I ordered Spicy Noodle soup which was seafood based. The only negative was the squid was overcooked and very rubbery. The rest of the soup was spicy, full of noodles and vegetables. Portion was huge and Wednesday is discounted on soups. Would order this soup again but I want to try the other soups. Beer was cold and tables and lighting comfortable. Service by owner great. Cheers

Stopped by and had Korean Spicy Seafood Noodle soup ($12.50). It was fairly good. The server wasn't friendly but service was ok. I'm willing to try different dishes at this place.

I loved this spot. they have a VERY nice variety of asian dishes some Korean some Japanese ... for me the bibimbap would be a suggestion as a safe bet to try out korean if you haven't, its a more 'soft core' approach than some of the other dishes. I chose to go with a beef soup/stew it was very good. Also, their beef teriyaki is LEGIT. highly recommend that as well. Another thing i really REALLY loved was their Kimchi. When i asked the woman why it was so different because kimchi traditionally tastes like smelly socks, she said its house made. highly recommend this spot.

This is my go too restaurant as of late. They have a good variety of Japanese and Korean dishes. Food is always flavorful and staff are sweet and attentive. I love the gamjatang, great flavor lots of veggies absolutely perfect.

We were doing a little Sunday drive yesterday and ended up here for lunch. It's been on my list of…read moreplaces to try for years, but ended up being pretty disappointing. It was pretty busy, which seemed promising, and the menu was truly impressive. There were all sorts of options - from Mexican food to Asian food to Italian food. Not to mention, an impressive breakfast/brunch menu and several American-style offerings (anything from chicken strips and burgers to steaks and ribs). So maybe we should have just tried something else. Dude ordered the rolled chicken tacos, which he said weren't too bad. But my chile relleno...it was inedible. The pepper was stuffed with a HUGE chunk of cotija cheese. Yes, the menu mentioned this, but I hadn't really considered the ramifications. Cotija is super salty, and that amount of it being loaded into the pepper resulted in a non-melted, solid mass of what tasted like pure salt. The relleno was pretty much inedible. I removed the cotija and just ate the pepper along with the accompanying rice and beans. It was not my finest relleno moment. Other than that, the experience wasn't bad. The place is quaint and clean, and the servers were very friendly. I probably should have just said something about the relleno, but also I felt like it was my fault because the menu did specify cotija. I just hadn't considered how salty that might be. If someone from the business reads this, please try the relleno yourself - it was NOT good. :(

Their stuffing was unique, different spices than used to and a lot of carrots, plus a few onions, very good. It came with a large salad as well. Restaurant has a very unique charm, really enjoyed this. The waitress was excellent, very personable which is one reason like smaller places compared to national chains. Didn't come with a dessert yet didn't need one, very amazing. Will be back for regular meal

We were warmly welcomed as soon as we walked in it turns out we were the first customers of the day -- and told to sit anywhere we liked. I had been wanting to try the Coconut Panang, but I was a little nervous it might be too spicy for me since it's marked as spicy on the menu. Our waiter took the time to explain the dish in detail and reassured me about the spice level, so I decided to go for it and I'm so glad I did! It was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the Rib Eye Yaki, and it was amazing as well full of flavor and perfectly cooked. Everything from the food to the service was top-tier. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We'll definitely be back sooner next time!

If there is one thing I dislike, it is trying to enjoy a meal out and it's cold inside. Service was prompt and cordial. When I asked what was preferred between two dishes there was no hesitation in making a recommendation, although I don't think either choice would have been bad. I had the equivalent to Pad-see-ew. It was good! I base a lot of Thai restaurants based on how good their noodle dishes are since it's such a staple dish. Flavors were on point, the chicken was not dry, and the noodles were not overcooked. The serving sizes were okay, but like someone else mentioned, other restaurants tend to give bigger portions. It seems you can't go to many restaurants these days and find a dish for under $20. This place is no exception. A bit pricey, but it is what it is. Lunch specials have more decent pricing. My son ordered from the children's menu and it was nice that his portion size was decent. He had the chicken and gyoza. It was good! The only small issue was the chicken salad. There was a picture on the of what looked more like an Asian chopped salad, but it came out with lettuce like you'd get when ordering Caesar's salad. The chicken and dressing was good, but not what was expected. Wouldn't order again. Hot green tea was priced well at $1.50. I often wonder where other restaurants get off charging $5 for a simple green tea. :) Parking: ample spaces in a large private lot of a strip mall type shopping center.
