This location is fairly new so I thought I'd check it out. I loved it - everything is freshly made and there's lots of variety to chose from for the protein and rice/pasta - they even habe keto zucchini noodles!! Prices are reasonable and on Tuesdays they have a deal on their teriyaki bowls. They will customize the spice level to your liking too. Staff are polite and friendly. And this company is Australian in origin, so tariff-wise, we're good. If you're looking for a tasty, healthy and affordable option, I'd recommend Noodle Box for sure. read more

While eating at 8th Street Cooperative, we decided to also give Noodlebox a try. They're in the same location as Paros Real Greek and Little Lot Diner. We dropped in on a Wednesday afternoon (around 3:00pm). The inside is spacious and there's plenty of seating everywhere. Music playing was our jam (throwback R&B). I also liked how we were given real bowls and utensils (but come on, charging $1.00 extra to share a bowl? Get out of here). The menu is small with only 13 options. Mostly noodle related but there are a few other items. - Cambodian jungle curry ($11.00) - yellow curry & coconut broth, rice noodles, Asian greens, bean sprouts, peppers and cilantro. Topped with two small pieces of mango. We got our box mild (level 1) as O can't eat anything remotely spicy. Surprisingly, the curry was flavourful. They're a bit stingy on the vegetables and you don't get any protein included, which is weak. - Chili plum ($9.50) - sweet chili plum sauce, Hokkien noodles, ginger, garlic, onions, peppers, Asian greens and bean sprouts. S added two free run fried eggs ($1.25 each). Basically, a higher end version of fast food, noodle style. Alright if you're in a rush. read more

This meal sounded so good when I saw it, I decided I had to try it as a mac & cheese lover, however, I was bummed when I did. This had no cheese in it at all, it was actually curry. Surprisingly, the curry was flavourful, because it's curry, but the overall dish was not at all. The noodles were super bland, and I don't know why this place calls this "Bombay Macaroni and Cheese Box" when it is actually a macaroni curry box. The upside is this place packs in a lot of food for the prices, which is amazing; you don't find that anywhere now-a-days. Sadly, don't recommend this place. read more

I had the ginger beef bowl and it was average and came with a lot of rice. I also paired it with some spring rolls which looked delicious but tasted somewhat odd for a fried spring roll. HOT AS HELL. I've always been curious about this place, so I decided to venture in. I knew I was at Noodlebox, because it said NOODLEBOX on the sign. As I popped a Tic Tac and entered the establishment to glance over the menu, one dish stood out in particular to me - their Singapore Curry dish. Now, I've been to Singapore and the food there was top notch (and easy for me to math in my head - their exchange rate was almost on par)! Not the hostel I stayed at though, ugh - 32 people in one room, and one shower. Thankfully I can now afford more than $7 a night and no loss to my dignity and/or self-respect for the most part. Hence, the trip to Noodlebox, which at $13 with the TOFU protein addition, would have only been bested if I actually paid in Singaporean dollars. I ordered this dish with the 'Scorching Hot' level of spice. Now, I've had to make 'retail spice' decisions before, and I've been let down on levels that would make Nikki Bella jealous (I'm looking at you, Wendy's spicy chicken burger). I was a man on a mission, with too much bravado and a twinkle of confidence in my swagger. As I brought this (noodle)box back to my car, I noticed it has a radiant glow around it. Now, this could have been delusions from the rancid Tic Tac I just consumed, but more likely it was due to the number of peppers that I could see, peeking through the cracks in the box. My hand started to shake. An uneasy feeling eased upon me. I get back to my office, take my first bite of this red-colored culinary puzzle, and almost fell sideways out of my chair. This wasn't just hot - this was SUN-LEVEL NUCLEAR. My hairline instantly started to sweat. MY HAIRLINE. As my skin turned red, my mouth became hotter than Death Valley and my sinuses turned into acid rain. But I pressed on, consuming this red mush paste as it pummeled my face, my self-respect, and my will to live. Furthermore, what felt like a glowing orb of fire formed in my belly, and floated around my torso for many hours. My eyeballs turned hot. I now knew what the human version of DEFCON Level 1 feels like. If this dish was a video game, it would be Fallout: NOODLEBOX Edition. After traveling through time and space for the rest of the day, I returned to Earth with a warning from the future - thou shall NOT attempt this again, lest ye be judged and whilst return to hallways of Hell's eternal damnation. Satan, I have at thee. If you like warm vacations, here's what I recommend (in order) - Cancun, the Sahara, Hell, NOODLEBOX. That said, the flavor was on point. 10 / 10, would eat there again. 3 / 10 on time traveling though, would take a lower spice level. read more

What can I say... I get cravings for their Ginger Beef box. It is THAT good, loaded up with fresh garlic and ginger, not your average ginger beef. You have the option to add extra veggies too. their spring rolls are also super good and there's a lot of other yummy stuff on their menu. My only complaint is that they only use DoorDash and I find they always take a long time for delivery. Better to order for pick-up and go get it yourself. read more

I got the crispy Shanghai chicken box and was shocked at how good it and the entire experience was. First, when you get a dish for eating in, it comes on real porcelain and is served with real utensils- I got a fork and spoon because I always eat rice dishes in bowls with a spoon, Thai/Pinoy style, and was thrilled to get real metal cutlery. This is not the case everywhere in town. Second, it was DELICIOUS. You're given the option of one to five for spiciness level and I decided to go for three- I love spice, but thought that I'd start on "normal." It was not only perfectly and adequately spicy, it was also deeply seasoned in general. Not super salty, just great depth of flavour. You might recall a joint down the street where Clive Burger is now called Wok Box. It was almost completely horrible. This place is nothing like it- good seasoning, well prepared, good RICE (this is one of two menu items that come with rice, not noodles), great friendly service in a beautiful new space. The staff were friendly enough at this place, the food was middle-of-the-road at best. I ordered the teriyaki box, and my girlfriend had the kung-pao, medium spicy. We didn't realize that the meat was extra - AND you actually have to order it, extra. A little pricey for the portion that you get - my teriyaki box was already $9.50, without any chicken/beef or any meat whatsoever. For that part of town (the periphery of the downtown core), this Noodlebox location charges too much & leaves a lot to be desired.
