Last dinner on our trip before we went home and my stomach was feeling weird like it tends to after longer trips. I start to have more of a need for something basic which led me to get spaghetti and meatballs for a meal. I can't for the life of me remember what noodle bowl my husband got but he also got some cheesy bread, which I tried and thought was okay. I hadn't had the spaghetti from here before this but it was about what I was expecting. I do wish it had a little more sauce on it but that isn't a huge issue or anything. The restaurant, as well as the bathrooms, were clean when we were there and the staff were friendly. We got in and out pretty quickly, so back to our hotel we went with our bag of goodies. There is a survey that comes on the receipt that you can get a free dessert when you submit it. If you already like Noodles & Co, this one is up to the average standard, so I'd stop on in if you're not looking for a unique local spot. read more

Just landed in Rochester from a long flight and the restaurant was near the hotel. I thought to give it a try. The cashier was most kind and pleasant to order. I decided on the Japanese Pan noodles (trying to go vegetarian). Presentation was nice and the meal wasn't too bad. Just a little dry for my taste. I have had food from this company on the west coast (California). And the service provided by these astute youngsters at the Rochester South branch, by all means outdid my experience in California. I am a South Pacific Islander who very much loves spicy foods. And these fine young folks went above and beyond with assistance. I wanted so much to leave them a tip but I was told they couldn't take it. I am one who believes that we should reward those who deserve it. And the fact that we couldn't do this was a bit disconcerting. Maybe a tip jar for the staff working that same shift to split May not be a bad idea?! We should support our young ones as they are truly our future in a country already killing itself. read more

I've eaten at this chain all across the US.. They will have a very tough time expanding if this is Rochesters first taste. I appears there is no management or proper training in the kitchen. How they managed to ruin my favorites is beyond me. My Mac n cheese which is usually great looked and tasted like a box of instant k raft Mac n cheese with some shredded cheese on top. Wrong noodles, even still had water in the bottom that I had to stir in.. Bummer. My steak Stroganoff had almost no sauce, the meat was tough and the whole thing was Luke warm. Again I had to finish the kitchens work.. Everything was just set on top the plain noodles.. The flavor was there but just barely. N and C has this stuff down cold and make it hard to screw up.. Tables, chairs, and the carpet were dirty. It seemed that since the customers bus their own dishes, that no one is assigned to wipe down the tables and chairs on a regular basis. We have never found a Noodles as bad as this anywhere. When we left, the door handles stuck to us !! Workers in the "kitchen" area wore hats, but unkempt hair hung down below the hats on them all. We DID enjoy our food AND the 15% Military discount. read more

I was just at this location. In the middle of my order the cashier walked away and started bussing tables. No explanation. She didn't direct me to the other cashier. Instead I stood there for several minutes shocked while 3 other employees stared at me. Finally one of them told me to go to the other cashier where a line of 2 people had built up. The manager's excuse for this rude behavior was that they were busy and the cashier was new. The first manager tried to pull the excuse that they have all been working 60 hour weeks. Um. Farmer here. Complain when you hit 80 hours. The second manager took over. She didn't offer any help just told me she was busy filling other customers' orders and offered a tepid apology. I have eaten at that location often in the past. It's convenient to the farm store. I will never eat there again after such treatment. read more

Went here with my family for a nice lunch to sit inside and enjoy our food. The cashier took 10 minutes to put our order in and was so slow he seemed like he was stoned. They had 4 open tables that were unclean and we sat at one and then when our order was ready the manager kicked us out and told us to go eat outside and it was 35 degrees out! The workers here seemed like they had no idea what they were doing. This was the most disgusting service I have ever experienced and I will tell my friends and family to avoid this place. This is our first and last time eating here. The service was absolutely horrible. We waited at the register until the cashier and cook finished their conversation. Then when I started to order the cashier cut me off to talk to the cook again and if that wasn't bad enough he did it a second time after I had started to repeat my order again. Once we finally got our food, 2 orders of Japanese Pan Noodles, it was burnt to a crisp. The noodles, broccoli, carrots, literally everything was burnt. The only thing that was any good was the soda. Usually good quality meals, but you could tell the kitchen was understaffed. They ran out of forks and the soda machine was running out of syrup. I would recommend against the pot stickers- they are usually my all time favorite thing but they came out like undercooked, smushed pancakes and we had to douse them in the soy to even make them edible. Overall- just okay. I'm here for a week and it's across from the hotel so I'll probably return because noodles is usually a staple at home and I think it may have just been an off day here. read more

Sadly I have to go low with them. Service was good and everyone there was nice. The problem is the food just isn't that good. I got spaghetti and meatballs once and the spaghetti wasn't cooked right. Hard to excuse messing up on spaghetti. The second time I got the butter noodles but they had zero flavor. Last time I got the beef stroganoff and was having issues with the beef. I have eaten here often in the past and never had a bad meal. Today pad Thai with chicken is inedible. Noodles feel like rubber bands in my mouth and the chicken is very thin and texture as well as flavor are "off". I suspect overcooked but not certain. The soda was good. The carrots & sprouts in my dish were all I was able to eat...very disappointed!!!!! I did complain to the girl at the counter. She wanted to make me another meal, but to be honest I wasn't sure it would be worth waiting for! So I got a card from her for a free bowl for use in the future. Hi. I was craving some Noodles & Company, and since I had such a nice experience before, I thought me and my boyfriend would take the time to drive about 40ish minutes to get some. We got here, great parking, no line even though the place was packed, and we sat down at a table. The table looked clean, but I noticed sauce marks and milk spilt. I wiped it up and went to get some forks, and there was none. Someone complained and an employee put some black plastic ones down. I went to grab two, and THERE WAS FOOD and WATER MARKS STUCK TO THEM. It looked like they were washed, which is fine, but they were plastic disposable forks. I found some that were somewhat clean, and a guy came over with our food. He proceeded to ask me if I wanted the meat and stuff that is in it, THAT IS SUPPOSED TO COME IN IT, and thats what I ordered anyway. I started to eat. And I found a hair. My boyfriend said his noodles were cold. Overall, I just felt really weird about it. read more

The serving size was a little small for me compared to the price. It was a pricey meal for 3 for the quality and quantity. Still enjoyable and good. It use to be a good place to eat I'm not sure what has happened lately but service is just down right horrible. My wife and I love noodles and company and this location mainly because it's near our home. But this will be our last time eating there, we have not had a meal made right the last 5 times we have been there. They always miss something if it's not skimping on the sauce, it's messing up what toppings we want or not want. I would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

I've given this particular store a few chances now. The first time I placed a to go order over the phone and drove 20 min just to find out no one ever wrang it in, so I had to sit and wait. Second time I was given bare noodles and half of a cold peice of plain chicken after ordering pesto. This last and finally time the only thing colder than their A/C was the Food, which was ironically over cooked. I'm sure it just sat there for who knows how long as teenager number 1 twirled her hair at number 2, which brings me to what this experience was....crap. I really enjoy noodles, as long as we dine in. Every time we have ordered take out the sauce is lacking and the portion of meat is significantly less. Employees are pretty friendly. They lock the doors 10-20 minutes before closing sometimes, so get there early if you plan to dine at that time. read more

It is very disappointing and concerning when you walk into this restaurant and the first thing glaring at you is the filthy floor. Then you look at the tables and none of them are wiped down. You just wonder what state the kitchen is in. We were also served from chipped bowls which is a big NO in the culinary world. There was no adult supervision anywhere. Teenage school kids were running the place and it looked like they had no guidance or direction. Also the food itself, was poorly prepared. Some of it was coated with sauce and some of it didn't have any. It looked like they ran out of sauce. I ordered garlic bread and I was told that they ran out of bread. While the food was okay, the entire restaurant was filthy. Crumbs and hunks of food were all over the floor. The silverware looked like it was just rinsed a little in water. The place was far too understaffed to be able to keep the place clean when busy, and when it got slow, two were just standing around instead of cleaning. I know it gets to be a long day and overwhelming. I order online from my job for my co worker and I. Now keep in mind to takes me 10 min from job to Noodles and Company and 10 minutes back. I go and pick up our order. I get back to our office and I grab my bowl. I open it up, I order Steak Stroganoff,as, I opening up blow I take two bites I said this is pretty weird there is usually steak in the pasta. Nope! It was pasta melted cheese and mushrooms. I called from my job pretty upset. Told them what happened. Now, remind you this took 20 min the first time. Now, I am going back to get my order fixed. I informed them that I worked at the Rochester International and that I had flight that was coming in 35 minutes and this was cutting it short. I drove there and back now this cut into my time for getting a quick bit to eat. I pull my order out of the bag and I look at my order there was CHICKEN on it!! Now, I was pretty frustrated and upset. I called them and asked if they ran out steak. I was told no. I told the lady this is second time you guys screwed up on my order. I was pretty upset and keeping my cool. Total time was 40 minutes total and they could not get my order right,. I told them that I would just eat because I did not have time to come back. They refunded back to the card. But was telling me that it was chaos in the kitchen I understand that, but you think the person that was bagging the order up would check the order.
