Went in and ordered $60 worth of food to go. Ask for three additional ranch and they of course were not in the bag. When I am handed my food was told by some girl there should have only been two. Looked at print out and guess kid checking didn't understand three. Have no way of knowing what I actually paid for since you don't get an itemized receipt. Then when I am trying to look through bags in parking lot girl comes out with a sandwich they left out. Really how hard is this job I was the only order you were preparing. Get home and even though based on what I told cashier it should have been 5 ranch I only made it home with three because they didn't put the one in with the tenders. Oh and your little smart mouth when you handed me the sandwich you forgot to bag and told me "have a blessed day" was totally inappropriate. Is this over $1 worth of ranch. No this is because people just cannot do even the most menial task and do it right. Also the baked potato was cook so long the skin was actually burnt to a crisp on the bottom. Ordered a bbq baked potato specifically without the red onions the guy even repeated it back, got the potato and on top was clearly red onions so we told them we ordered it without the onions they said okay we'll fix it, instead of making a new one without onions or taking them off they just covered them up with cold cheese so they appeared to be gone and sent it right back out, pure laziness. Don't get to go, they didn't give us our drinks. We honked for a few minutes until we had to knock on the window. Then we saw they didn't give us our fries either. Got home food was burnt and one of my burgers was a patty and bun. Great news is if you're looking for a job. There doesn't seem to be any requirements whatsoever. read more

Driving up to this burger joint I had high hopes! You can enter through their cool patio that has roll up glass garage doors, cool décor, ample seating, smoking allowed on the patio and tv's! Inside the restaurant is equally cool décor and ample seating! You order at the counter and they call your number over the PA system when it is ready. I ordered the Iron Gut Burger which comes with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, jalapenos and salsa for $6.99! We also shared an order of Fried Boudain Balls that come with French fries and ranch dressing for $6.99! The staff behind the counter was friendly and offered many smiles! The burger was huge and I cut it in half and I was excited because it looked delicious! On first bite I remembered that looks can be deceiving! The burger tasted like the meat had been frozen prior to cooking it....yucky! The toppings were really good on it and the jalapenos were nice and spicy just the way that I like them! The burger was highly disappointing and messy but, the Fried Boudain Balls were nothing short of delightful! The fries were crisp, hot and had a nice clean flavor to them! I used the ranch to dip my fries in too! All that being said, I really enjoyed sitting on the patio! This place has great potential to be "the spot" to go but, they really need to get their food kinks worked out! read more

Most food is great. Only avoid is Philly cheesesteak. Was a smear of over cooked meat and veggies on bread. Most are thick and final grill done when ordering. If you can't make it right don't make at all. Fried mushrooms are a standout item. Best I have ever had. read more

My husband and I lived in Silsbee and Kountze years ago and someone introduced us to this place. We've been to the one in Lumbeton, and Silsbee. However we moved to Baytown and would still drive up here so he could get his hamburger fix. The only issue I have with this place is the driveway. It's very dark to turn in. This place needs some kind of an entrance light. We've missed it several times and we just watched someone slide past the driveway. Like us, he had to turn around and come back. Please put up entrance lights. Other than that, great food and great atmosphere. read more

PROS: 1) This place is a run of the mill burger joint. They have good burgers but could use a little more flare. The peanut butter burger is about as "out of the norm" as it gets. 2) Get their boudain balls. They are the best thing on the menu. 3) The inside of the place is pretty cool 4) The service is pretty decent and the staff are pretty friendly. CONS: 1) You will wait at least 20 minutes for your meal. Every time. 2). If you order a pick up meal, make sure you tell them 3 or 4 times what time you are going to arrive. I have ordered for pickup a few times and arrived to pick up and ended up waiting another 20 minutes for them to cook my meal which I didn't really get to eat with a 30 minute lunch break. 3) The parking lot in the back could be repaved. read more

Went during lunch hour it was my first time going and it wasn't too bad. The food took about 30 minutes to come out but well worth the wait. I got the chicken fried spud because I saw a pic on yelp. I'd like to begin with the positives. I enjoy Novorosky's mostly because of the portion sizes of their meals. The staff is very friendly and the environment is open and rustic. I also enjoy that the waiting time for the orders is reasonable. However, I do believe that the quality of food should reflect the prices at which it is sold. This is one case where the quality to price ratio is not 1:1. The burgers are okay ( bear in mind that fries must be ordered extra, there is no meal or combo option), however, at the end of the dining experience, I will have spent just as much as I would at a nicer establishment for a fraction of the amount of food. I usually feel as though I could have spent less money and gotten a similar quality burger elsewhere. If price is not an issue, I would recommend the chicken strips. Of course they're pre frozen.... But compared to the chicken strip meals from any other restaurant in Silsbee Texas, the best ones are found at Novrosky's. If you're looking for a good burger though, go try The Cottage on the other end of town. read more

My family stopped at this establishment and order 2 texas chickens burgers, boudain balls, chips and salsa, and a chili cheese burger..... the chili was placed on the side, so the bread don't get soggy, but the cheese melted to the bun and can't be removed without tearing it apart to place the chili, plus the chili was nothing but grease and oil (obtained photos)... something I would not place into my body cause I could feel the clogging of arteries.....the fries were cold and filled with grease and oil to the point of sogginess. I have eaten these same burgers at other establishments and never has a problem, but the non caring attitude from the "manager".. I will chalk this 37 bucks up to a lesson learn .... DO NOT GO TO SILSBEE LOCATION..... unless you want extremely greasy food with high prices .... better off going to McDonalds.... read more

It's really my own fault. I am a sucker for a mushroom-swiss burger, and a friend told me that they had a decent one, so I ordered it without bothering to check the menu. Rookie error. I nearly keeled over when the cashier told me how much my order cost: Burger, fries, and a fountain drink-- $12! Novrozsky's is not a fancy place, it looks like a barbecue joint-- plain concrete floors, rough wood, open ceiling, old corrugated tin. They don't have table service. And, although the burger was good, it was nothing special. For a small town place with ordering and pickup at the counter, $12 is really high for such basic grub. To me, that is about what I would expect to pay at a diner with table service (including tip), or a counter service place in downtown Houston. As I said, it was my fault for not checking the menu. As I sat and waited for my meal I did look at the menu. The basic burger was $5, so with fries and a drink, it still would be a few cents shy of $10 with tax. So not worth it for a nothing special burger. I also have some minor complaints like dirty tables and that the person behind the counter was also trying to take phone orders while customers were waiting in line, but those problems are completely moot. The high cost of a just okay (maybe 1/3 pound?) hamburger will keep me away. read more

The food is good but a bit pricy for a small town. It's loud so it was hard to hear when they called our ticket number. But all around it was nice. The floors need better care due to it being sticky when I walked. I had the seafood platter. It was cooked perfectly and the onion rings are to die for! read more

Got the triple and added two eggs on it and a basket of fries, I am beyond satisfied and stuffed. What a great burger and what a great experience the place was. I would give this place no stars if I could!!! Absolutely horrible place to eat. Children work at this location and they know NOTHING about customer service. Order was WRONG 3 different times!!!! Maybe if the children weren't all trying to fuck around with each other the food and service would be better. Management really needs to step in and take care of this location. SAD. Not too many Novrozsky's Hamburgers left anymore. With all the other burger venues popping up all over SETX it is no wonder. Novo's has good food, but the economy seems to have taken its toll on the prices here. With a good variety of burgers, spuds, chicken, even nachos, this joint is well worth a visit. There is even a peanut butter burger on the menu. Maybe one day I will work up the guts to try it? read more

Dump! My wife was eating a taco salad and a small ROACH about 1/2" long crawled out of it. Sounds crazy but it's true! Bring bug spray if you want to eat at this dump. read more
