Shortly after 4:00 this afternoon I opened my garage door, only to have it refuse to close....it was way out of kilter and stuck. I called Overhead, whom we had dealt with quite a while ago, and owner Mike O'Bannon said he'd try to get someone out to me, though it was late in the day. A few minutes later he phoned me back, said Shannon was on his way. And he was; he straightened out that door and had the needed replacement roller in his truck; and he was gone again in twenty minutes. We filed a warranty claim with First American home warranty because our garage door was not opening any longer and then a cog piece fell out of the machine. (It was an older model, so I was unsure if they were able to replace pieces or just the whole unit.) 12 foot ceiling- 10 ft. roll up door Guy put's in door opener which works OK. Worker gets check and leaves. Nothing about light not having bulbs. Next dark night- no light. Woman at Overhead Door says "must not have bulbs installed" 'Go ahead and climb up latter and put them in yourself" I hop out of my wheel chair and climb up 10 ft. latter, fall off and look for a good lawyer. We had Nor Cal Garage come out to our rental property and install 4 garage door openers. At the last minute, we had to make a change and needed to install one of the openers at a different location.
