Nora did my hair for my wedding and it turned out so beautiful! She created an updo and included the jasmine flowers, hair jewelry, and bridal nath nose ring that had to hook into my hair. During the hair trial Nora listened what I wanted and gave great input. She also gave me a blowout for my bridal shower two days before the wedding. I was so happy with her work that I went to her for a snazzy short haircut after I got back from my honeymoon. I got rid of the long hair I grew for the wedding and my short haircut also looks great! I actually first started getting my hair cut by Nora when she was a student at the Aveda Salon and have followed her while she was training at Cooper Alley in Marin and now at Population in SF. When I first saw her at Aveda, I was impressed by how popular she was even as a student. You would have thought she was a famous hairstylist in NY the way she was booked weeks in advance. While seeing her in Marin, not only did she make my hair look great but listening to her teachers reviewing her cut, I was always blown away by how impressed THEY were. I am so glad she is now back in SF because anytime I need a cut, color, or just a blow out, I can go see her without having to drive far (although I totally would) and I trust that she is going to make my thick, straw-like hair look amazing.
