Jenn was a good instructor on the c-pap machine and usage. Her knowledge was helpful and she answered all of my questions. A few days after the class she got me a different mask to try. Have been calling for 5 days to have resolution of an issue with my CPAP. Plan on filing a complaint and going to another DME company.

No way did I want to deal with a CPAP so I did not go in with a happy camper attitude. I came out with a setup however that is not only simple and pretty non-intrusive to use but, after only one night, I actually woke up feeling better. Duh. Jennifer O. was the RRT who fitted the device and instructed me. I used to teach and she is a very good instructor! She was organized, knew her stuff and answered my questions directly in a very understandable manner. Good motivator too, offered a lot of suggestions and encouragement. I feel she made a very positive difference in how this CPAP unit will help me. read more

I began dealing with Norco Bend in 2019 after my two 90 year old parents began needing med supplies. The first few years went 'ok' as far as customer service goes when the employees at the actual store were available to answer the phone with questions etc. Fast forward to 2023/24 and customer service- since it has been outsourced to somebody else, well now you cannot get anyone to actually pick up the phone at Norco Bend - is terrible. For one, once you are put on hold the voice on the other end says - 'everyone is busy, let me get the manager for you'....then more holding and the voice says -'let me get the owner for you'....more holding and then it is someone from Boise Idaho who answers and these people are clueless. I was assured an order for a CPAP machine was put in by Norco in April 2024, and when it became available 2 MONTHS LATER in June, Norco claimed I or my 98 year old dad received a call to let us know it was available. Thing is, I did not receive this call and my dad has dementia so no way he would know either way. So Norco gave this machine away and the only reason I knew anything about it is because I received a call from the St Charles Sleep center. In September. I talked to at least 5 different customer call center people plus one 'supervisor' Cass and I got nowhere. This was over the course of 2 weeks. Cass assured me someone with 'clinical' would reach out to me to get the issue resolved. And she herself would follow up as well. Nobody called me. Therefore, I found another supplier in Bend, Lincare. Wow what a difference! I spoke to one person throughout the entire process of getting my dad a new machine. It took only 1 week, including a weekend AND a respiratory therapist delivered the machine to my dad's apartment. Which is helpful because he is in OR, and I am in CA. We got all squared away with supplies, a new machine, and it is very easy to reach someone at Lincare directly with no long wait times or hassles. So my advice - do not use NORCO for your medical supplies, go with Lincare in Bend, OR. Norco no good any longer. read more

Been going to this location for over a decade for welding supplies and cpap stuff for my wife - Wayne was a fantastic manager, he used to come out and chat all the time. Wish him a happy retirement! Ever since the new guy took over though (Tyson) this location has gone down hill. Unlike his predecessor I've never seen him out and about conversing with customers and the employees definitely dont look happy when he's out talking with them. The shift in management style has definitely showed through the employees (for the worst). Hopefully things get better! read more

They have a monopoly on cpap supplies which is why they have no interest in learning how to provide quality customer care. After six months of trying to get a new mask, I went to my doctor, who called them and magically got me an appointment that day. It was another six weeks before I finally went in to see what was going on with my order, and it was in, they had never called. Last week, I just got a bill for January. I had been told that my insurance had agreed to cover my machine 100%. I had not been informed that there was a monthly rental fee. That does not sound like covering to me. Fortunately, I just had surgery, and no longer need the machine, so it is going back. If you can find another supplier, don't walk, RUN! read more

Not sure how they are in business to be honest, I set up an appointment where I got my CPAP machine to try a new mask since the one I got wasn't working, they said I had the wrong location which isn't tru,e and then said I need to wait 2 weeks for an appointment so I get get the right mask for my CPAP since my current one wasn't working. 2-week wait for them to hand me a new mask? completely unacceptable, I am letting my insurance company know about how they treat people and as well. I am tempted to return my machine and find another place to do buisiness. read more

I thought they were fine, re-certified and filled my oxygen tanks for my medical practice when the fittings were non-standard and hard to find. They were prompt with their service and prices were reasonable. read more

Apparently the law permits workers to not wear masks if they are behind plexiglass? Even though there is a sign on the front door stating everyone in the building must wear masks. Even though both women behind the plexiglass are sitting next to each other NOT wearing masks. This is a business which provides services to medically fragile people. I called the Redmond Norco and was told that they DO wear masks--even behind plexiglass. That is where I will be going in the future. read more

I have been trying to get my bi-pap supplies replaced for nearly a year now and finally got them in, but missing the bit that holds it in my head so I still can't use it! I was helped by THE MOST PLEASANT gal at Norco earlier this week. I didn't ask her name and my sales slip says JohnM, but by far, she is the friendliest gal I've ever had help me there. I get my cpap supplies there and most times the front desk staff seems a bit perturbed to have to help. Whoever this kind young woman is I hope they keep her! I tried to call the local store and find out her name, but got routed to a central location and no way to find out her name, sadly. I tried! Really I did! Norco - you would do well to find out who was working at 10:44 a.m. on Aug 17 at the Sherman Road store and give that gal a raise and a permanent position at the front desk. read more

Pam... absolutely one of the rudest employees there. My wheelchair had been ready and I never received a call. Then I speak to Pam again and she tells me it's been ready. Never once mentioned that my insurance had denied my wheelchair even after speaking about it. I drove to pick up my wheelchair just to find out that I was denied. The only positive thing that came out of this trip is meeting Julie. She was an absolute doll. She told me what I had to do in order to get my insurance kicking in correctly. She then continued to print all the info for me and was very supportive of my situation being 30 years old and disabled. Julie you get 10 GOLD stars. read more

Walked in looking for my favorite brand of gloves and there they were. Fair price . This store is divided in to two parts an industrial side and a medical side. I've worked with the people on the industrial side many times and they are very helpful and provide good customer service. I've also worked with the people in the medical side. They actually told me that my business was not worth their effort and they were not interested in helping me. Due to the medical sides treatment we found another provider for our supplies..three stars are primarily for the industrial side, if I had to rate the medical side of give them zero stars.. read more

I have been dealing with them for 3 years, my experience is mostly negative. It's amazing I ever got used to using Cpap equipment. I thought it was bad, but now it is actually worse. I've made a complaint, but nothing is ever done, I went in to get a new mask fitted and the person absolutely refused to do it. She stood 10 feet away with a mask on saying she couldn't touch me of the mask because of covid. She finally went and got a pair of gloves, but was still useless. I haven't been to Norco in Bend in several months. I assumed that things would improve, as crazy as this sounds, as Covid has skyrocketed in Deschutes County. I was hopeful. I noticed the signs clearly stating that everyone in the building had to wear masks. After all, many of us who come here to purchase medical supplies have underlying conditions. So to see a customer service agent yakking on the phone MASKLESS (the very person that would be helping me) was enough to have me turn and beat a quick retreat. What gives? Yes, the plexiglass is in place but even if "legal" it does not take the place of a mask--especially when you are dealing with medically fragile people. It certainly doesn't protect anyone else in the office working with this person. This is the reason that I haven't been here in months. I will continue to patronize the Redmond Norco. No more chances for Bend Norco. They obviously don't care about me. read more

The staff, especially Jenny the Respiratory Technician, are extraordinarily patience and accommodating. Being new to CPAP, I needed a number of adjustments to get a mask that fit and was comfortable. Jenny went out her way to see that I was getting the optimum benefit from my device. The initial training Norco provided was extremely helpful. I would give them 5 stars for responsiveness. Calls or emails are returned promptly and pleasantly. Equipment and supplies are easily ordered on line and delivered to my home. Jenny recently trained my husband and answered all of his "engineer" questions. He was impressed with her knowledge and how well she put him at ease. We're both big fans. read more

Be careful when you return rental equipment! They do not tell you when you return the equipment that you owe a balance. The receipt you get indicates a zero balance at the bottom. If your bill has cut the end of the month and you return your device 2 days after they DO NOT prorate the charge. So you will pay for services that you no longer need or use. read more

As you can see from my review 9 months ago the Manager Joanna wrote that I would be contacted to resolve this issue. Well here I am 9 months later and nothing was done to remedy the problem.  I never had anyone call or contact me in any way and when I called a woýman basically blew me off. Now I am facing multiple problems with the chair as in the beginning the Rep put the footrest as high as he could get it to try to force it to fit. It does not, my legs dangle and I have constant pain in my legs. The chair malfunctioned and ran forward when I put it in reverse and ran my foot into the wheelchair ramp last month and broke the toenails on my big toe and the two next to it completely off. The chair gets stuck in the recline position and the leg lift works when it wants to. The chair is slow to respond and I fear getting hit by a vehicle because the chair won't move. I was told in the beginning that the chair could not be released to me until I signed for it. I had not even had a chance to sit in it at that point, as soon as I did I refused the chair, but was then coerced into taking it. I argued for a good 30 minutes with the Rep. He also told me he would get me a flat seat as a contoured one was uncomfortable. They are now trying to charge me 400 to get the one he promised. This chair cost 27,000 .. yes you read that right.   I plan on hiring a lawyer and I am already working on speaking to the State, as they utilize this company and I will make sure this does not happen to anyone else. Save your money and sanity and shop elsewhere. read more

I called and ordered CPAP supplies. I was told that my insurance would cover to cost. The price before insurance was 359.20 for a F30 mask system, headgear and heated hose. Well I received a bill for 282.38. My insurance did not cover the full amount as stated. Not only that after doing some research I could of bought all items (same brand) online WITHOUT using my insurance for 163.00. When I contacted Norco they explain at the manufacture sets the price I find that hard to believe that the manufacture will set a lower price for one company and such a higher price for Norco. I only went to Norco because that is where I originally purchased my CPAP machine and they are consistently calling me to see if I need any other supplies plus they are local. I feel this is a little bit of price gouging on their part. I understand it is on me for trusting Norco that they would give me the best price possible and competitive to other competitors. I know now that this is not the case and I will be buying my supplies elsewhere. Norco had no interest in matching anyone's price. read more
