Disappointing experience and inconsistent information! I had a frustrating experience trying to source a knee walker here at the Meridian location. The first representative told me they only sell equipment (quoting me for a standard walker instead of a knee walker for $69.95 with part # 4090DW5), while the Nampa office later told me they only rent. Instead of helping me find a solution for my husband's mobility needs, the staff was dismissive and ultimately suggested I just buy the equipment on Amazon. While I appreciate the suggestion, I expected more professional guidance and consistency from a local medical supply provider. The worst company to deal with for medical supplies. Shipments are delayed no communication letting the patient know 2 1/2 weeks. I've been waiting for an order no communication. My doctor sent a prescription in November. They say they don't have it, but they don't bother to call me. This is the worst customer service for medical supplies, especially when you use things that can affect you living or dying if you're reading this review, find another medical supply company to deal with. I had a cpcp machine prescribed. I waited for Norco to reach out to me for them to send me a unit. 1 month has went by and nothing I have called them 2 times and get a help desk that has no information to help you its just someone passing on your information. Not impressed at all with this company at all. If you read their company statement letter. "Serving You Better" for over 70 years For over 60 years, our motto has been the same: "Serving You Better". We are committed to superior service, product knowledge, customer support, and overall performance, because we believe the best customers deserve the best supplier, and we are determined to be the best. This motto does not seem to apply to 2023 or 2024. I am challenging Norco to at least change their motto if they cannot abide to their current one. I have a bipap machine for my sleep apnea, and this was the goto place to get replacement items (masks, tubing, etc.) I approached them in April, 2020, right during the initial shutdown, and they were open, barely. Still, they worked with me, and got my initial order in, which would be reviewed every three months. The next order came via internet/mail - and one of the masks leaked terribly. I was asked to bring it in, they looked at it and said they'd order me another one, which they did. So, I've only had to visit twice, and I appear to be on a "mailing schedule", works for me. read more

Don't even bother with them. Just order what you need from Amazon. My daughter tore a tendon in her knee and dislocated her kneecap. She needed a brace, but she's only 10 and very thin. Understandable that no one would keep that size in stock and it would need to be ordered. 1) When you call the Boise location, no one is ever going to answer the phone. You wait through the menu, finally push 6 to talk to someone, and will immediately be transferred to the Meridian store. Then you will wait on hold until someone there can answer, only to have them say they will try to contact someone at the Boise location and have them call you back. I got to do this fun game SIX TIMES in the last 9 days. 2) The urgent care faxed the prescription to Norco (this Boise location). I watched them do it. But I'm also an RN and have played this game before, so I know better. Took the handwritten Rx in to the store to make sure they not only received it but knew to order the right size (because I'd already done one round of the phone game and knew they didn't have it in stock). It took the man (Kevin?) 30 minutes to order it, all while I had to sit there and wait and he didn't say a word to me. Then I was told it would be about 2 days (this was on a Tuesday). 3) By Friday, I still hadn't received a call that the brace was in, so I played the phone game again. Was told it would be arriving (from Twin Falls) Monday. 4) Monday, more calling to Norco. Told Tuesday. 5) Tuesday, you guessed it, more calls. Told Wednesday. 6) Wednesday, once again, I am playing the phone game. Mind you, all this time my 10 year old is hobbling around with an ace wrap, hoping she doesn't re-dislocate her knee cap because she doesn't have the proper brace. I'm finally able to talk directly to Kevin on the phone who admits he ordered it wrong which is why it never arrived. He swears it will arrive Thursday, but at this point why should I believe him? I order a brace off Amazon for $15. 7) I don't hear from Norco until after 4pm. They finally have the brace. My husband picks it up, it's $122 (with insurance). My husband finds the exact same brace on Amazon for $60. We could have just ordered it there originally, paid half the price and had it in 1 day. At this point, her first day with the brace (tomorrow) will be 10 days from when it was ordered. She was only going to need it for two weeks. So $122 for 4 days of use. I've been in the customer service industry going 26 years. I write this review with my experience not only as a customer service representative. But also a previous Operations Director for 2 call centers. My 91 year old Mother has COPD. It requires her to reorder oxygen tanks so she can go out. My mother, myself, and my brother have all dealt with horrible, rude, disrespectful customer service agents everytime we call to reorder her oxygen tanks, hoses, and nebulizer cups. The hold times are ridiculous. And when you do get a representative. You get attitude right off the bat. Everytime we call. We feel like we are an inconvenience to the representative. You always get different answers. And majority of the time we don't get everything we order. We were told we can reorder my mother's oxygen anytime the call center is open. My brother recently called on a Monday and was told we can't reorder on Mondays. We need to call on a different day. Huh???? We looked in the Norco book given to us by St Luke's hospital. Nothing says you have to call oxygen reorder's on a specific day. I Googled to see if their was a specific day. Nothing. It seems my brother was just passed off. We're at the mercy of Norco. My mother can't drive and my brother and I work during the times Norco is open. So we can't pick up her oxygen and her supplies. We are being held hostage at the mercy of the customer service representatives to get her supplies delivered so we can take our mother out to her appointments and to run her errands. Sucks we have no other option other than Norco. Norco needs an overhaul in training their customer service agents. Giving them a grade of F- is too generous. Don't like your job? Quit. And let someone else who has compassion and respect take your job. read more

The staff is Friendly's but they lie. They don't follow through with the promises they make. They took 6 weeks to get my room mate 2 cases of Lucerna drinks and they sent me the wrong product twice.they only have 1 brand of adult diapers. They are the cheapest on the market. When asked about a different brand I was told I don't know what to tell you. And said no more.i was forced to call the corporate offices and tried to get help and the transfered my call back to the Boise office. No help. Iam still waiting for a wheelchair 3 weeks always an excuse why or blame the delay on someone else. They never have anything in stock in Boise or the store in meridian. You always have to wait. CPAP. High prices on supplies. Their incompetent billing dept. screwed up my orders TWICE with insurance costing me hundreds of dollars. I ordered supplies Mid December to take advantage of having met my deductible by years end. Was told "will bill and ship within 72 hours". Insurance asked NORCO for a verification, they had my valid prescription on file, they never followed up with the Dr. or insurance, I was never contacted, order didn't ship and as a result I had to pay full price for my supplies instead of the 20%. read more

The customer service in Portland is beyond bad. Just look at the reviews and all of them are about customer service. If you call to get help they won't answer. I have been on hold for more than 45 minutes and when they finally answered, they indicated someone would call me back but it never happened. It is not just one time it is all the time. Great products (but other companies sell the same products) but trying to get help is impossible. Boise on the other hand it great. I talked to Kimberly Saul after not being able to get anyone in Portland and she answered and solved my problem in minutes. And she is a new hire! They sent me a survey and the return envelope requires a stamp. That says to me - this company is not customer focused - does not really care about my experience with their company and that was exactly how I felt when calling the branch I was supposed to work with. I needed an in-home sleep study to see if I need oxygen with my cpap - and the branch Manager told me flat out - I don't make any money form these so you will need to pick it up and return it yourself. Um - I am a Norco oxygen customer - and you are making money from me monthly - that totally turned me off so I switched the service to another company. They also don't have a contact phone number on any of their equipment so if you have an issue with something - you have to scour the book they give you and GUESS which place to call. In this day an age of online reviews - Norco you need to step up your game and proactively do better. read more

If you call the store, the operator connects you to a voice system that goes in circles unless you leave a message for the "manager" whos recorded message assures you a return call within 2 hours. 24 hours later without a return call, I called again and got the same response. read more

I needed a blood pressure cuff and being almost 9 months pregnant I was happy to see breast pumps there as well. I was greeted almost right away from a woman that worked there. They have a limited staff as I'm sure they aren't crazy busy all the time. I'm sure their customers come in waves. I looked around and she came to me and asked how she could help. I gave her my prescription for the blood pressure monitor. She looked up all my information and explained what she would do to see if my insurance would cover it. She also explained that she would be multitasking by helping some other customers that questions. Being in customer service myself I totally understood and was thankful that she communicated that. When it came time to wait for the insurance getting back to us she said she noticed I was looking at breast pumps and brought me over to them. She answered some of my questions and said while we wait for insurance, would you like to look at them? I gladly said yes noticing that they had literature on every product. So grabbed the papers and took a seat to read about my choices. After about 20 min, she motioned me over to her desk. It turned out my insurance didn't pay for it but the blood pressure monitor was only $50 so I got it anyway. I had a great experience and they had lots of products for all kinds of medical needs. I went in to pick up a left-side Wrist brace for my wife. The moronic guy they gave it to me after discussing at Lankes the size inside she needed, he gave me a right side large when I needed a left side small. I then drove clear across town to get it to my wife so she can put it on while she treat patients to only realize he gave me the wrong one. I had to drive all the way back across town to get the braces switched. All the guy had was a smart ass comment when I said you just made me waste a trip across town and back. He told me I would've wasted another one had it not fit anyway. What kind of crap customer service is this? I will never ever ever step foot in this place I don't care what I need, I'm sure there's another company out there that can supply it was better customer service. I would like to let you know that Norco supplies my oxygen and The V. A. Pays the bill as I'm a disabled Vietnam War veteran. I want you to know that you have a great dedicated employee . When he has to come to my home to fix a problems like a failure with the Oxygen concentrator he has to drive to Orcas Island . He has to take a ferry to get to my home. He comes late on a Friday after dark if I need help . He responds quickly to every need I have . His name is John Horton and he is just great and working out of your Bellingham Wa. store .. John always leaves me in a good mood and of course safe with bottled oxygen for our frequent power outages. If any one deserves a raise or promotion you should consider John a honest and hard working man of integrity . The five star rating comes from John being so dependable as I have never been to the store. I am a person that has never written a letter like this But this is my first time. Due to the dwindling numbers of DME suppliers in Boise, I often find myself at the downtown location of Norco. My husband and I both use CPAP's for sleep apnea, so we need to replace various accessories on a fairly regular basis. My biggest issue with the downtown location is that they have no 'after' hours or weekend hours. Folks like us, living close to downtown, either have to make a hurried trip during a workday lunch hour, or run right over after work- if those options don't work, be prepared to schlep out and deal with the traffic in Meridian. Going at the lunch also means that some Norco employees are also at lunch, so if you need to speak to a respiratory therapist (RT), or have your CPAP info card read, you run the risk of either a long wait or not having anyone available. When I was there last I took time to walk around the show room and was disappointed my the miniscule display of CPAP equipment. I'm sure that an appointment with an RT would mean you see more, but again, no hours for evenings or weekends at this location. At another time I had to visit to fill a prescription for a knee brace only to find that they did not have one that would fit me. When they finally did get one for me and I went back, the tutoring I was given on how to use it was quick and perfunctory. It took me a couple of days of trying this and that (and getting advice from friends who had worn them) to figure out the proper way to set it. I HAVE to be thankful for this location because frankly I'd spend a lot of time driving back and forth to Meridian if it weren't there (and yes, the Meridian store has limited Saturday hours) but when you are a regular user of durable medical goods having a provider who will opt on the side of customer care seems like an obvious choice rather than one who sticks with a 9-5 schedule simply because they are 'downtown'. I'm saddened that Norco seems to have garnered the DME monopoly, there used to be other options with better hours. read more

After a terrible jet ski accident I had to call a ton of different businesses and companies trying to get resolution on bills and medical treatment. This Norco location provided the best service I received during this entire time. Everyone I spoke with was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure I received a wheelchair faster than normal and they followed through on all of their commitments. read more
