They redesigned the space again, moved the registers. The line was very long... and people in line somehow couldn't understand "Next!" being shouted. -sigh-. Moved slowly to get to the registers. I was in the area and decided to check this store out. The location is huge and there is a big selection of clothing and shoes. A lot of the clothing racks were disorganized. I did make a purchase but would not go out of my way to return. read more

I've been to Nordstrom Rack a bunch of times and have never purchased anything. The concept is simple, stuff that didn't sell at their upscale counterpart are shipped here to be sold at deep discounts. The problem is in the execution. Less than 10% of their inventory has ever seen the inside of a Nordstrom department store. The other 90+ percent is crap that's either make specifically for them or close outs from brands that Nordstrom doesn't carry. Want proof? There are more Rack stores than department stores. Way more. Trading on one's name and reputation isn't a new concept. But in the end it serves to dilute their brand. Someone who goes to Short Hills willing to spend $500 on a pair of shoes is unlikely to show up at a Rack store looking to purchase the same. No so of a Rack customer who pays $75 and assumes that they're getting a bargain. They're not. Can't really recommend shopping there. It's a pity because it's a 5 minute clerics from home. Oh and same story at Off Fifth a few miles down the road. read more

The overall set up and overflow of product and disorganization was a turn off....as soon as you walk in, you literally walk into display table of stuff...not ideal...I love Nordstrom Rack at other locations... maybe they are understaffed and I got there on the wrong day and time... The employees here are so sassy!! Normally I love a Nordy Rack trip, but it was tough to enjoy my most recent shopping trip. My basket was getting pretty full, but I didn't want to grab a large cart because it's hard to navigate the aisles. A sales rep came over and insisted that I needed the large cart, even though I said I was okay. I didn't ask for one, but when she instructed another employee to bring one over I said fine and made the swap. Then I continued to shop (with my new large cart) and the original employee came over, stood in front of me, crossed her arms and bellowed 'YOU'RE WELCOME.' - I guess upset that I didn't thank her. Super confusing when I never asked for the cart and did thank the employee who actually did bring it over to me. I also tried to return something that was past the 45 days (I simply asked --didn't know the policy) and was met with an attitude from the cashier. Otherwise, the selection here is pretty large and they also have a really solid baby department. Unfortunately the service is a little scary, and that might deter me from a future visit. read more

It's a holiday and the store is crowded. I'm in line to purchase something, with 15 customers in front of me and there are only 2 registers open. I came in for 1 thing only, that I had to buy. It's needed for a last minute trip and didn't realize until last minute that it was needed, otherwise I'd leave. I can't understand why businesses can't adjust quickly to the ebb and flow of demand. If there are that many customers waiting, can't you add at leave one more cashier? read more

A big disappointment. The store is messy, unkempt, disorganized, and not well laid out. I'm not expecting 'normal' Nordstrom levels of attentiveness, but c'mon-belts on the floor, hangers too, clothes not properly marked-totally unpleasant. The staff seems disinterested. read more

I was at Nordstrom rack last week and had a great experience so I decided to return today for a last minute holiday party outfit and a Christmas gift for my mom. I asked the sales associate in the fitting room if I could leave my items with her while I used the ladies room. Instead of offering to start a fitting room for me or at minimum hang the clothes on a rack she just pointed to the racks. I wasn't sure which one she meant so I tried to hand her my clothes and she just gave me a look. At the register the robe I wanted to purchase didn't have a tag. The cashier called for assistance on her radio and nobody responded to her. So I offered to go look for a robe with a price tag. This is not the level of customer service I've come to expect from Nordstrom. Your staff is rude to their fellow coworkers and customers. I won't visit this location anymore. I'm sorry I inconvenienced your staff with my business. read more

It has finally arrived, our very own Nordstrom Rack! Take your time to explore. Probably a store you need to visit frequently to get the most out of it. I think this will be the replacement for our dearly departed Loehmann's. Great brands, long lines. Yes they carry a lot of decent brands but not all the deals are worth it, especially not when you see the long lines (on a weekday!) Employees were standing around (flirting with the security guard) instead of helping as the line wrapped around the store. Just order online. read more

Came here to get more suits for my suit game!!! A real man can never own too many suits, the selection was nice and I left happy...the store was clean the workers was polite , great assistance and speedy service, I tried on 3 suits to my other halves liking and we was outta there..didnt spend over my initial amount so that was great also but as a whole it was worth the time and money read more

Ordered my items for the anniversary sale and had them delivered to this store Livingston Nj. Employees at this store have sticky fingers as my friend also had items ordered go missing as well.The usual notification from Nordstrom stating the packages were delivered to the store, get to the store and half of the items are not there. One of my packages was opened and the the most expensive items were missing. Why are employees opening the customers' packages? All packages should be kept sealed and the employees should not be able to see what was ordered by the customer, just the number of packages. Corporate needs to look into what happening at this store as an employee also mentioned during a phone call that many have reported missing items at this store. Nordstrom needs to have a better system in place. Most annoying is that I got refunded. Nordstrom needs to realize they have a big problem this location. read more

Basically like this store but giving 3 stars for the lack of service. Always long lines, staff acts annoyed you are there- barely acknowledges you- does not speak , make eye contact or welcome you once you are at the register- tend to hold personal conversations with each other definitely no customer service. The Wayne location is normally just as busy but the staff is pleasant- appear to enjoy their jobs, engage in conversation and keep the lines moving quickly read more

Oh wow. Love this place. I love quality clothes -especially from Nordstrom and I love discounts, so basically this place has become an addiction for me. E clearance rack is where it's at. Also, if you buy stuff online from hautelook or Nordstrom, you can return here. Also you can check out with any sales person who has a mobile device- you do not have to check out by standing in line. My first time in this Nordstrom location was a great experience. The customer service was fantastic. I felt like a valued customer. The employees were attentive to my needs and assisted me in finding the best attire for the event that I was attending the following weekend. Not bad... I was incredibly excited to see that a Nordstrom Rack had moved in nearby. It's a pretty big store that's seemingly well-stocked but it's one of those places where you have to be really motivated to dig through a lot of crap to find gems. There are certainly plenty of brand-name items that are heavily discounted from retail price, but if you want to score really good deals, you'll be scouring through racks and bins of clearance items. read more

This is Nordstrom Rack, not Nordstrom. Expect to notice the difference in quality of merchandise and customer service. The Women's section of clothing dominates most of the space, with more limited square footage devoted to Men's, Kids, shoes, and accessories. read more

Not your typical Nordstrom experience. I understand this is the Rack, but it still feels more like Marshall's, but without the friendly service. The products are made for the Rack - they are not Nordstrom quality leftovers. It's really a misnomer. But, there are some deals to be had if you like 1990's fashion. The poor service here feels almost intentional. There is no manager on duty, and lots of employees congregating, texting and chatting. Which is fine... for a TJ Maxx. read more

Well stocked store that is kept very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Like most discount stores, you will have to spend some time hunting and its hit or miss, but you can get designer clothes at great discounts. You can also order online, and return non-wanted items to this store. read more

What's the fuss?? Been here twice and all I see is old lady clothes and coats. Looking for something for Valentine's Day and I would have been successful if I were 60 years old. I thought this place was going to be my replacement for Lohemanns since they closed or maybe a closer Century 21, but no. Just no. Their workout attire is nice and there's an ok selection, but there more to choose from and at better prices at Marshall's. The line was all the way into the back of the store into the shoe dept. when I arrived and was still there 45 minutes later when I was done shopping. I put the things I was going to buy down and left. Everyone knows what cashiers are paid so I'm not sure what the problem is but I'm not going to wait in line for an hour because some nitwit made the decision to cut the number of registers in half a year ago. Always find amazing gorgeous clothing here ...im so addicted! even if i go three times a week i see new items... just bought a fake fur top shop coat that sells for $200- for $42-!!!! they have stunnning maxi dresses many designer left overs at low low prices! i bought pricey marc jacobs handbags for 1/3 the price retail! the shoe dept is amazing too! i got Prada pink suede platforms for $99-! Next door is a pretty decent t j maxx so you can hit both! dsw is also next door! this is the best Rack of the three in that area! nice staff of young people, always courteous and friendly! read more

it has a good selection of a variety of items... and i've gotten pretty good things on sale here. however, it doesn't have as much "high end fashion" items here vs. the paramus nordie rack. but i do find some pretty good stuff around - you just have to keep looking and browsing! there always seems to be missing some check out people as the lines are always pretty long here, no matter if i come in on a weekend or a weekday. read more

Went there for the first time yesterday. I was trying on two pairs of shoes, when a male associate came by and told me to put the shoes back in the shelf, and not leave them on the floor. It's the tone in which this man spoke to me that made me never want to ever shop here again. I just looked up at him and had to bite my tongue before I snapped back at him. Is this the way the company treats customers ? To make them feel uncomfortable just to try on shoes? I've worked in customer service jobs, and this is not how you treat people. Maybe you guys need to train your staff to possess better customer service. I even went into the dressing room, and it was just two girls standing around talking. They made me feel as though I was bothering them by just walking in. Probably won't return to this establishment. read more

I usually do not post complaints on Yelp, or anywhere else, for that matter but I was pretty disappointed with my experience at this store. I purchased a pair of shoes from them and wore them once. I noticed that the heel of the left shoe was beginning to detach itself from the rest of the it. I figure there was some sort of defect and I could just take it back to the store, not so. First I was told that I had to go to the manufacturers website. This manufacturer is a Nordstrom brand, so can't do that. Next I was told that they could not find my transaction on their system even though I showed it to them on my card statement. The next one is the best, they said they did not sell that shoe and that they have never seen it. I went to te rack and found it then showed it to them but was still denied, pretty ridiculous I know. I am not in the habit of buying shoes, wearing them once and returning them. I typically spend a lot of money on shoes throughout the year and used to buy shoes from Nordstrom rack with some frequency but no more. Just make sure you inspect what you buy because you will be out of luck if you try to return it. read more

A very, very minimal selection.... You have a 1 in 100 chance of actually finding something inexpensive with a brand name. Their shoe department is also extremely messy which makes it difficult to find your size and desired style. Also the majority of items are rejects and not anything that someone in 2017 would wear. But go there, if you have 3 hours to kill, a low budget, and don't care what century your clothes are from as long as they have a designer logo. read more

It's OK. They haven't been open for too long but they're definitely a good addition to the area. It's pretty big. It reminds me of a more high end TJ Maxx or Marshall's, if that makes sense. The men's selection is no where near as good as the women's but you'd probably expect that. Prices are definitely good but you really have to look around to find anything. I wasn't that big on the men's clothing selection but they had a really good men's shoes and fragrances section. There wasn't a ton of cologne but what they did have was priced very well. You can definitely get some high end shoes here on the cheap which is always nice. I probably won't be coming out of my way to get back here but it's definitely nice to know this place is close. On the day we went, it wasn't incredibly packed. read more

I was at Nordstrom rack on Thursday, September 13 at 8 PM . I was in line at the checkout and there were two Associates checking out . one associate and a customer were Conversing about different styles of glasses and how they looked on the customer . There was a long line of customers and the two associates were in no rush to help or service any of the customers on line . They took their sweet time. One person on line asked a associate that was hanging up clothes in the could get more registers open they said no. I will not be going back to this Nordstrom rack . I shop at the one in Eaton town and the service is like night and day . The manager greets the customers and keeps the store organized . They always have 4 plus associates on the register . The lines can be long but go quick . Executive Management should observe both stores. This Nordstrom Rack is giving the Nordstrom name a bad one . read more

You can find something almost every time you shop. sales help is well trained, courteous and pleasant. One flaw is there is NO ONE to help you on the floor .
