WOW, I can't believe some of these reviews. Every time I go into Willow Street, whether I buy something or not, the staff has always been nothing but professional and nice. I am not not a soccer mom, a woman clad in labels, nor do I spend $500 every time I shop there. I use the coupons, and never once have I been made to feel like a degenerate. In fact.... the staff reminds you of the coupons that you've accumulated! I go there so much (whether to browse or buy) that a lot of the staff either know my first name or at least recognize me, and in a town like Morristown, that's pretty impressive. Their clothing selection is great, they have a selection that you rarely see on anyone else, which is nice, because I like my clothing to be unique, but if you are looking for deals, go to Century 21. It's a high end store, with high end prices. They sell jeans for $150+, they sell sweaters for $200+, if that makes you upset, again, go somewhere else.. I usually get lucky with their sale rack, which is pretty fabulous. read more

I love this store! They carry a fabulous collection of clothing and accessories. You can also find amazing deals in their sale section. The staff is so friendly, warm and welcoming so I don't understand these negative comments. A great place to shop! read more

Nice selection, snotty staff. Act like I'm about to steal something and run out the door, despite the fact that I carry a nice bag, dress like everyone else in town and drop alot of cash here. They don't say thank you after you spend $500, so I guess that's not the minimum required to be treated like the rest of the snotty soccer moms in town. I'd go elsewhere if I could find a place that had the same clothing. Oh well. They do give good coupons, maybe that's why I'm treated like a degenerate - because I use them. read more

I agree with the prior review. The selection is not really different than what you would find in the mall, but it as been whittled down to fairly stylish (for New Jersey) clothing. The down-side to shopping there is the unfriendly staff. The owner is actually quite friendly, but the people she employs snap at you, and don't offer help at all, except to tell you that everything you look or try on is great. My sense is that they have regulars who buy a lot, and they are the only customers they are interested in. I often steer away from it just based on the attitude. read more

Willow Street is a great boutique catering to women ages 25-50. The clothes are much more unique than you will find at the near by Mall at Short Hills, and the store's collection of accessories is particularly fun. The clothes are edgy enough to draw interest and compliments but are still appropriate for your average suburban social outing. Willow St also has a denim room in the back filled with the most popular brands-- Joe's Jeans, Citizens, etc. I chose to give Willow Street only three stars because the women who work there have not been friendly towards me. I have seen them doting on well-dressed older women, but I never feel welcome in the store. I am a working twenty-something who can easily afford their merchandise, but the sales associates watch me like a hawk but never offer help. read more

I don't write a lot of reviews but I had to post because I'm so surprised by the negative feedback! I've always been treated really well by the associates at Willow St, even though I don't always purchase something when I go in and I shop the sales rack as often as I do regular priced items. (Hey, someone has to buy the sale stuff too, right?) I do shop there more often than I probably should, but I certainly don't drop hundreds every time I'm in there. The buyers do a really great job of whittling down the selection to just enough for there to be a variety of styles but not so much that it's overwhelming or takes too long to go through. I'd describe the general aesthetic of the clothes as on-trend but with a bend towards an LA/California vibe. There's a good mix of stuff you can wear to work, out for a girls night or special occasion, and high-end casual wear. They stock all kinds of labels from household names to smaller, indie but up and coming brands. read more

Never shopping here again, EVER. Went in on Sunday and tried on a bunch of things - was not greeted upon my entrance into the store, and the snotty saleswoman kept grabbing things out of my hands before I was even committed to trying them on to "put them in a room". I smiled at the other clerk and she just walked by me with a puss on her face. Wanted to try another size in something and had to yell over the door to get anyone's attention...not sure what I did wrong (I dress decently and am over 40) but got treated like a homeless person by these women. Then someone else walked in with her daughter and these two poor excuses for "salespeople" fell all over her. What a snotty, unfriendly store. read more

Willow Street is one of those 'go to' places that has a great staff who are really helpful. Whether you need something for a special event or just to wear on a casual day, they will help you search, as well as, suggest items you may not even realize look flattering until they are on. I've always been a huge fan of Willow Street but now I'm super fan! I love going into the store, all the women who work there are awesome and helpful. Over time I've gotten to know Lauren and asked for her help with styling the clothes I already have. Well, last week we had the greatest time - in my closet! Lauren dug right in, took stuff, laid it on the bed and started putting together outfits I never would have thought of....amazing! I have far more options than I ever thought, she put together daytime looks, going out looks and even some holiday ideas. She suggested adding a few things to balance out and update my look. We photographed everything so I can reference the looks, which was her idea smarty that she is! Good thing I did because I've already needed to refer to them. They are great at pulling together great outfits and they are always friendly and willing to work with you whether you are buying a tee shirt or an entire wardrobe. They just opened another store in Morristown, NJ (I'm leaving this review for the Morristown location, but I assume it's not much different than the Summit store). The clothing on the window displays looks fashionable enough, but with a closer look you realize the clothing is not worth the price tag. To be honest, I felt the clothing is not much different than what I could find at a TJ Maxx, but it costs about four times as much. When I walked in, the girls were really outgoing and tried to great me and make a positive impression. A+ for effort, B- for pricing. read more
