Located on the 2nd floor of the Miracle Marketplace building, Nordstrom Rack Coral Gables has a large floor space filled with various fashions and clothes. Initially opened as a clearance area for the original Nordstrom in Seattle in 1973, it then opened as a standalone store in 1983. My wife and I have been to quite a few, and found it to be a good place to buy department store quality (i.e. not clothes specifically made for an outlet) for reduced prices. This location had the one thing we look for: a large clearance area for both women and men, and this store fit that bill well. It has free wi-fi, which was appreciated. It didn't seem too busy while browsing throughout the store, but then realized how high the throughput was when having to wait in a very long line. They had all registers going, and the line moved surprisingly quickly. We were just window shopping, but I ended up buying some Nike briefs that were double clearanced, making it well over 50% off. read more

I ordered shoes and had them delivered here, by mistake. It's not far from my house but it's not the closest location either. I show up at 640pm and drive around the parking lot looking for parking. I get to the 5th floor where it finally opens up and decided to call to see if they did curbside. The guy picks up and I asked. "No." So I tried to explain that I use a wheelchair and that there was no parking and before I could say that I had a large package he says "no, we don't do such a thing." Ugh. I park and go down the elevator to the 2nd floor. The entire level is empty, NordstromRack not so much. There were quite a few people in there. I head right to the check out line to grab my items. There was one guy and one girl behind the registers. The guy was helping some dude. The girl was helping a lady. They finished. The girl calls the lady in front of me, the guy doesn't call "next." I wait. I'm here now 8 min or so. No biggie but why isn't he calling next in line. There are people also behind me now. He's playing w the guys return. Like dude, put it to the side and help the patrons in line. A couple minutes later and this guy not even looking up to acknowledge the line of customers waiting, the girl is finished with the lady. I roll up not even waiting to be called and she's rummaging around on the floor. So I stay and wait. She's still going. About 40 seconds later she pops up and starts a conversation w the dude next to her who's still playing with the guys return from 2 customers ago. She finally realizes I'm sitting there in my wheelchair and asks to help me. I ask to pick up my online order and she tells me "ITS AT THE DRESSING ROOM!!!" Like WTH, seriously. Maybe my mistake but my order details never instructed me where to go, which you think it would. I roll to the dressing room where the lady is speaking to someone. She finishes quickly and asks me if I need help. I let her know I have a pick up order. She tells me she'll be right back, heads around one side to the other and goes to help 2 people who came out the dressing rooms. She finally comes back over to ask for my barcode, which I've had in my hand since I first got there. She leaves again and comes back out with this huge box. It's a box big enough to hold the 2 large shoe boxes with the shoes that I ordered. She then asks me if I needed help. Like what, someone was going to bring it to my car? You mean like curbside? Or maybe what the guy should have done when I explained I use a wheelchair!? I politely decline, throw this huge ass box on my lap and roll away hiding the fact that I may end up struggling the whole way to my car. I'm sure not I'm not the only review to complain that this NordstromRack doesn't offer curbside but for someone like myself, it's more of a need than a want. read more

As is the case with other discount stores like Marshall's, Ross and Burlington, the selection and items available here at Nordstrom Rack can be hit or miss. I generally never really found much to purchase here, while my spouse has long sworn by this store. Recently I decided to give this place a try and got a few pairs of Penguin brand shorts and a pair of Puma brand shoes, much more reasonably than I'd seen them at regularly priced retail stores, but not quite as cheaply as I'd seen similar items going for at Marshall's or Burlington. The reason I say this store can be hit or miss is because my spouse found a few great watches here just a few months ago and when he returned here for another, the selection was nearly depleted. They had scads of sunglasses just weeks ago, but on this visit, very few for men. Lots of t-shirts and swim suits for men on this visit, but not a great selection of dressy shirts and almost no long sleeve, for instance. read more

I have been to this location a few times. Most of the time, the store is pretty well stocked, organized, and clean. Recently, with the global health situation, the store has hand sanitizers available and adhere to covid guidelines. For example, huge panels are installed at the cashiers, customer service, and online pickup sections. It's usually hard for me to find clothes that fit me because of my frame and size, but I've been able to find clothes and shoes that fit me from this Nordstrom Rack. The store has several extra clearance events throughout the year, like extra 25% off of clearance and sale items. I'd like to give a shout-out to Ashley, she was really helpful and patient at the register. She helped us figure out the pricing and discounts, and made sure that we got the best deals. They could do a better job keeping up with it, if you have the time to go through the various racks and fixtures it tends to be a good experience. Nordstrom Rack is a great way to find good buys, you just have to be persistent and go there often. Sometimes you'll find so much you can't buy it all and other times you won't find much. Kind of like a treasure hunt. For the Christmas holidays I went there a couple of times and found loads of great holiday decorations for the house. read more

Nordstrom quality and service with bargain prices, sign me up! I absolutely love Nordstrom Rack both online and in store, but this particular location is my favorite. Why? You always leave with something awesome. Shopping here, you do need to mentally prepare a bit because the parking garage is completely awful BUT once you arrive inside this Nordstrom Rack - you will be on your way to great retail therapy. The selection is great - from designer row clothing and shoes to accessories and even home stuff - they really have everything. When I shop here, I always go in open minded since you never know what is going to be there in the shopping racks. My favorite find was a Badgley Mischka bathingsuit for $15 - WIN! This store also has a great men's selection and a nice variety of NYX makeup near the checkout. I also love that they have carts to make it easy to organize your haul. Trust me, you think you need "one thing" and then 30 minutes later you're in the dressing room maxing out that 15 item limit for try on. whooooops. There is a certain sense of joy that can only come from finding a high quality item at a great price. Thanks to Nordstrom Rack, that can be your reality. read more

This will be a short review but I love going to Nordstrom Rack. Nordstrom is known for her designer and quality clothing items so it could range from very expensive to you got lucky because the shirt you like is on clearance and I snatched it for $8. Shopping at Nordstrom Rack this like that you are there Get Lucky or if you have the money you pay for what you want. Overall I like this place you can find clothing items that no one else has unique pieces and things that are different from the regular Marshalls or TJ Maxx brands. I shop here when I want to stand out. Sometimes the place could be a little messy and clothes could be everywhere because usually during the weekends or late in the week if you go in the daytime the store it's quite put together. Currently right now, through March 18 (2018) red tag items for women apparel (with the exception of lingerie, swimwear and sleepwear) are an additional 40% off. In the past, 25% off red tag items was the discount given during clear the rack sales, but has now been reduced to 20% recently. So check out any Nordstrom Rack location (also applies online) now to score on this extra discount. Anyways, I stopped by this Nordstrom Rack with my husband and our little girl dog (yes all Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack store locations allow for you to shop with your little pup). This location can be found at the Miracle Marketplace on the 2nd floor, all the way in the back (next to DSW). The layout is similar to other Nordstrom Rack locations, with 1 story/ level (some store locations are 2 stories, like the location in Fort Lauderdale). On this visit (this past Thursday), I did not see too many real high end designer brands. But with Nordstrom Rack, it truly is a hit or miss on visits and so you have to visit multiple times to get a better feel of the inventory and it also depends on what is left after others have picked through what is in the store (but please note that shipment of clothing takes place at different hours of the day, not just at opening or closing). But I ended up finding a great blazer jacket with a real fun print for an excellent steal at $35 and some change, after tax, with the 40% red tag discount (original price was $158, and an item that is from Nordstrom store, not a made for item for Nordstrom Rack). Anyways, this location has a nice layout and a good size to shop in (larger than the location at the Shops at Midtown). The 2 employees I interacted with were friendly. The ladies restroom (towards the back of the store) was clean upon this visit. Overall, had a pleasant shopping experience here and was happy to shop at a store in Miami that did not end up costing me money for parking (I'm sad that I have to pay for parking practically everywhere in Miami) or require that I get validated parking. read more

Everywhere including the door signage is "Extra 40% of Clearance" just to find out at cashier after spending half an hour that it only applies to women's. Nordstrom Rack is the cheaper version of Nordstrom. This particular store is in the Miracle Marketplace. It's on the second floor of the building, in a corner after DSW. Believe it or not before discovering this place, I didn't bother with anything Nordstrom at all as the prices were insane. Now I actually like Nordstrom. This particular outing I bought wedges. The wedges I bought are TOMS. At the Rack, they were already discounted, but to my luck, they were further discounted due to clearance. I got these wedges for around $27 with tax! Now that's a bargain! Not to mention that the sales lady was quite nice. She signed me up to Nordstrom Rewards. I don't give five stars to this store if only because I find their selection limited compared to other stores. read more

Tried to return defective pants that had a hole in the inseam, but I had already removed the tags 2 days after purchase. The store refused the return. $30-$40 for a pair of pants I can't wear, no thanks. Won't be back to this location. It's not just the return policy. When I posted a review of the product, other women were commenting the same thing about the pants getting holes in the crotch area. Pretty good selection of brands and sizes for women, nothing really high end. I always find a few bargains and basics. The store is clean, so are the dressing rooms and the rest rooms. I've never had to wait longer than 2 minutes at the register. The men's section sucks. Was looking for a gift for the BF and they didn't have any good brands. Tommy Bahama? Not sexy. Men's shoe selection also not good. Orthopedic looking loafers (hello grandpa) and fugly sneakers. This is why I shop online when it comes to finding gifts. I love Nordstrom Rack.. both online and in-store. The people here are super friendly, and they make checkout and returns a breeze. 90 days for returns is pretty awesome.. all you need is the items and one of your order numbers, which will pull up your entire order history. It used to be that the Nordstrom Gift Cards didn't work here.. But great news! They do now! Even doing a return here, you get a gift card that's usable for Nordstrom, Nordstrom Rack, and Hautelook.. Awesome! While this store itself isn't beautiful, it's filled with great finds for any bargain shopper! It's well organized into sections, and had a combination of mid range brands to high end brands. Parking here can be a pain.. the garage ramps are tight and it can take a while to get a spot.. doesn't help that there's an LA Fitness in the building, but oh well, factor in some time for that. I was just there yesterday for Christmas returns -- what a breeze! I'll be back next week to hunt for great bargains! read more

I was in a pinch of time and needed a nice cocktail dress. I'm familiar with this shopping plaza due to my overwhelming fear of the narrow ramp in the parking garage with a manual car. Once you get past the parking mayhem, you can make your way up the escalator and know that you've reached retail heaven. There's a lot of nice items here and the sale racks are abundant. The sunglasses could be a bit more trendy so just stick to the clothes and shoes. If you're into doing two things at once, you can get a car wash while you shop for about $20.00. I like the fact that it's the outlet version of Nordstrom so I don't have to pay crazy prices to have great designer clothes. There's a bunch of stuff you can do while parked here. I've gone to gym, gotten a pedicure, eaten, and then went shopping all without moving my car which is a pretty good list of accomplishments. There's a grocery store next to the building so you can even bring home groceries from your trip here. Now, if they only made that garage more ample I'd be here all the time. read more

One of the best aspects is the organization factor. Employees work hard to make sure the store looks tidy and that alone makes it more pleasant than most discount chains. Next to accessories you'll find the lingerie area and this was perhaps one of the most surprising and better spots in the store. Although, Nordstrom is known for its shoe department you won't find anywhere near as a good a selection at Nordstrom Rack. Prepare yourself for more of Marshalls feel where you may find some classics if you look hard enough. Overall, this place is perfect for someone willing to invest time over bucks. Nordstrom Rack, like any discount clothing store, takes a dedicated shopper to tackle. There's a lot of ground to cover, and to uncover the best deals, you gotta be ready to invest the time and effort. This place offers the same great selection as it's originator, and at a fraction of the price. Provided you're not looking for the latest trend, you're bound to find something for any occasion. I tried on a gorgeous summer party dress at Nordstrom in May, and saw it for a third of the price at the Rack in October (unfortunately not in my size). I couldn't justify paying full price at the time, but if they'd had it in my size, I totally would've snagged it at the Rack. Their shoe selection is pretty large, but be prepared to pore over the racks, since there's no rhyme or reason to the entire thing (except for the size). They also have a good selection of cosmetics, including perfume at great prices. Their selection has been a little slim, what with the recent holiday and everything, but the staff assured me they usually had a much wider selection, and even offered to let me know when they got the scent I was looking for back in stock. Parking can be a little confusing, especially the crazy spiral ramp up to the Level 4 parking garage. But it's plentiful and free. Just make note of where you parked, or you may never find your car again. There's also valet available for $5.00, for those who don't do parking garages. read more

I love getting my favorite designer brands, Juicy Couture, BCBG, Spendid, Citizens of Humanity, Kate Spade, etc. at a deep discount. The store is on the small side, but the selection is great. They have have discounted salon products, such as Biolage around $5 for a shampoo bottle. I can't wait to go back and buy moreeeee. Shopping has never been this fun. The main downside is the parking. There is very little parking and there are always lines to park. Also non working, slow elevators. If I had written this the first day I went to the Rack, I would have given it 5 stars, even more if Yelp allowed. Lovely, discounted clothes, shoes and accessories kept much tidier than other traditional retailers like Marshall's and TJ Maxx. In theory it's awesome. However, I have to downgrade it a star because I'm returning a lot of the stuff I bought when I was overwhelmingly smitten with this place. I put on a pair of shoes this morning and they gave me blisters after 3 minutes of walking around my apartment. The shine wore off of a dress I bought during said shopping high as soon as I tried it on again at home. I'll definitely be back, but not just to return stuff. They do have a lot to offer. I was surprised that South Miami lacked a Nordstrom Rack for so long. These stores We've had one in Hawaii since 1998. For men, I really enjoy Nordstrom Rack. I feel like I am genetically wired for a good deal, but will not buy Wrangler Jeans, shirts, or cargo shorts from Target or Wal-Mart, but will also not pay top dollar for regular retail priced items from Macys or the regular Nordstrom/Neiman Marcus. Consistency, quality and a good bargain -- this is why NM Last Call in Dolphin Mall and Nordstrom Rack are so awesome. Nordstrom Rack remains the place to buy shoes, sneakers, grab good deals on shirts, watches, and even suits. This NR is no exception, is easily accessible in the heart of Coral Way and not far from Coral Gables, and has great parking and also has other shopping in the complex. I found some cool adidas kicks that say 'Samoa' on them. I'm Samoan, so naturally I added a star to this review because of my sheer appreciation for this store and its location. read more

Rack of lamb? Rack of beef? Nope. Nordstrom Rack. Almost sounds like the name of a restaurant, but you'll never hear anyone hunting Nordstroms. What would a Nordstrom look like anyways? Nordstrom Rack is supposed to be the outlet version of Nordstrom. Since I am a (regular) Nordstrom shopper, I can't really feel that this is an outlet version of the main shop. I'm not saying the store is bad, but the quality is noticeably lower. If I was to make a scale and say a "10" was a genuine Nordstrom, I would rate the Nordstrom Rack to be a 4-5. It almost feels as if the items shipped from Nordstrom proper to the Rack get lost in transit and they use fillers that were rejected. Bottom Line: Meh. Worth a visit, but you really need to have something specific in mind if you want to shop here. read more

Nordstrom Rack is amazing - amazingly dangerous for this girl! I can't help myself, I have to go in and buy SOMETHING because it's virtually impossible not to find something that is a great deal and I also love! Recently, I've purchased 3 watches, a pair of Coach flats, a leather Michael Kors jacket, a pair of Kenneth Cole shoes for the boyfriend, among many, many other things. All that for LESS than the original price of the MK jacket. On my student budget (which I really, really stretch), it's awesome to have a place like this to purchase designer goods without breaking the bank! There is a whole ladies clothing section that consists of brands that are not regularly available at Nordstrom stores - these brands are lower priced, but there are still many cute items. Then, there are items from the regular Nordstrom stores that are really great prices. Last week and got a gorgeous silk blouse for $10 that was originally priced at $120! Can't go wrong with that. The customer service here is also great, they've tracked down items at other stores a few times for me. Very happy with this store - except that DBF banned me for the next week :( read more

I came to redeem the Groupon of all Groupons & was sadly disappointed. First of all, this place is lit like a sad little discount store & I didn't feel like it was appealing at all. I didn't think the selection was that great, even during the holiday rush. I was excited to see so many brand names, but the actual items were not that attractive. I picked up a few items that were downright damaged (is that normal there?) or stained. I felt like it was a high class Ross (thank God it was more organized than Ross though). If you do not want to drive to the outlets in Sawgrass Mills, just come here! You will need to dig in but they are pretty organized and have some good deals if you have the patience to find them... The parking garage is free but is very narrow and sometimes gets really crowded for holidays and peak time because of LA Fitness. read more
