My husband and I just had our wedding a week ago and we are beyond grateful for Michelle and her team! Michelle went above and beyond on our wedding day to make sure it went perfectly. We did not have to worry about anything and although a few things didn't go as planned (due to my poor organization), I promise it didn't matter. My advice to any future brides is, go with the catering (we received so many compliments), and just trust that Michelle will take the best care of you on your day! Thank you so much for making our day so perfect and stress free!!

I just want to say thank you to Michelle and her assistant for going above and beyond to save my daughters baby shower. After all of our decorations got stuck in LA at the very last min, they came through and by some miracle had everything we needed to pull off the theme of the shower. The space was so beautiful I almost cried. And even on a day when it was 110 outside, it was still bearable in the upstairs space. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'd use them again without a doubt. Thank you guys so much, it was perfect.

While the venue is beautiful my experience planning an event with the staff was sub par, and I would not recommend. We planned a celebration of life for my grandmother which was a task during COVID. We met with Michelle our point person for the event. During our initial meeting she lacked the ability to provide suggestions to our simply inquiries which left us struggling to pull ideas. She then told us she would reach out to us with her number to iron out details of the event the upcoming Saturday, she never did this. She was very inflexible when setting up a livestream test the day before making the planning process even more difficult. The day of the event her and her staff ignored my directions which resulted in over 20 balloons flying away (which they replaced with incorrect colors). I requested the walk path to the stage be dried it was wet and slippery which was a hazard. The servers were eating their personal meals with gloves they served us with which was not COVID friendly. Like a said a beautiful venue the staff however is just problematic and unprofessional.

I had my debut recently and I fell in love with Noriega House from the tour they gave us. It was the first venue my parents and I looked at but we already knew it was the one. I booked my venue a year early and we met more with Michelle as my birthday approached. She was so helpful and seemed genuinely excited for my party and made it so stress-free, especially the day of. I really can't remember the name of the lady who arranged the florals and tried her hardest to stay within the budget that we gave, but she was so nice and they really made the venue look like what I had always imagined it to be. They really made my big day fun and were always helpful! Highly recommend for any event

My wedding at Noriega House was absolutely perfect. The venue's team made sure my day went exactly as planned and were available anytime of day leading up the big event to answer my questions. My wedding was absolutely beautiful. The Noriega House is a beautiful hidden gem in Bakersfield.

Everything was beautiful! We had a wedding of 180 people with no wedding planner. I felt confident that Michelle was going to make sure every vendor delivered on time and every last detail was going to be beautiful and perfect. Some guests who had lived in Bakersfield their whole lives were blown away that they had never been to the space and by how beautiful everything was. So happy with our wedding.

I agree with Yuli H, the owners are very inconsiderate; not surprised they're up for sale.

I must say this was my first time actually staying in Bakersfield and I was honestly surprised that…read morethe Marriott was completely booked! Granted it looked like all construction workers because there was nothing else but oversized trucks in their parking lot! My fiancé Googled "clean hotel without bed bugs" and Padre Hotel came up first! Their online reviews were great and we were exhausted and needed to rest! We pulled into their valet parking just to drop off our things. As my fiancé parked the car, across the street in the over night garage, I was able to get a Single King room on a Monday night for $159. As we walked into our room #701, it was rather small, but fine since it was just the two of us. As I sat on the bed, it was actually hard! Yay!!!! I can't STAND soft beds and rather sleep on the floor! Haha no joke! Then my fiancé went into the restroom and suddenly he tapped on something glass sounding as I was turning ing on the tv..... I noticed there was a curtain by the bed, so I pulled it across and lo and behold by the bed was the shower and just a curtain the person from the outside of the shower could open/close as they please..... hee. We also had a mini fridge in the room along with a desk and chair. We had planned on staying one night, but got inside LA, and we figured we'd extend our stay. Upon doing so, we went downstairs the next day and asked if there was a deal if we could stay 3-4 days, and sure enough there was!!!! It's always great to see what happens once you ask! Hee. We got a larger room with a corner room location, I forgot the room number, but the restroom was larger and had a separate wall between the toilet and shower area, so if someone was in the shower, someone else could use the toilet and not be seen. This longer hotel room also had a chaise lounge chair and a better view of their downtown area, granted a lot of the places have closed. Overall, I honestly loved our stay here! It reminded me of a county version of The Fairmont SF! They constantly played new aged country music in the lobby! Then on Fridays and Saturdays there was a live band or singer in the bar area! I love how they had a community aspect to the hotel with some local live entertainment!!! My fiancé also loved watching The Knicks play on the bar tv with other people at the bar! Hee. Oh and they had an adorable coffee shop that made Ready To Order items downstairs too! See my review at Farmacy Cafe, but too freaking too! Country SHREK! Hee We will definitely be back again!!!!!

If you ever think about booking thia place Don't!! We hosted the graduation party for my three…read moredaughters on 5/31/25 on this god forsaken place, where to start, the venue was given to us with no attendant, our guests were seating in the dark because we didn't know where to turn on the lights, one of our guests had to figure it out, the AC never worked and again one of our guests had to get on the roof to try to get the AC unit work, then we found out that the steal the electricity from the building next door. The lights on the sides if the hall don't work if you try to bring down the lights everything goes pitch dark. We were told we could use the bar area, but it was filthy disgusting, there were larvae (worms) all over the counter and sink area,. We had to sanitize as beat as we could just to get by, the kitchen area is not a kitchen is a filthy warehouse not suited to hold any kind of food, the health department must be unaware that they serve food, by the way our dinner was supposed to be served at 5pm and they were barely setting up by 6pm, the food tasted decent but the guy and girl serving couldn't be any slower, we hired servers to take the food out to the tables and they had to stand and wait for minutes in order to get a few plates. Don't get fooled by this people, they faje your money and promise excellent service but what they offer is only disappointment, take your money elsewhere Party City Rentals is a fraud.
