She did a great job and we signed the contract to have her do hair and makeup for me, my mom, and a friend. The day-of, she arrived at the house earlier than me and got started on my mom right away. I gave her the exact timeline for the day and she figured out when she'd get to the room and the order of makeup done on the day. She got there early in the morning to set up and away we went! First, I have to say - that I hadn't met Niki nor did I do a trial with her prior to my wedding. I had another makeup artist booked for several months with whom I did my trial and was happy and ready to go. It wasn't until the morning of my wedding (literally, 6am) that my original makeup artist didn't show. It turned out there was a family emergency and she didn't get a hold of me until 2 HOURS after she was supposed to be there. By this time I was freaking out, we were behind schedule, and I had no clue who was going to do mine and my bridesmaids' makeup. Finally, my original makeup artist got in touch with me and said she was sending a backup (Niki). I was nervous, I had no trial with her, but at this point I had to roll with it. NIKI WAS AMAZING. Not only did she do an amazing job with my makeup, but she worked so quickly and by some miracle got all of us back on schedule. She did my makeup, 4 of my bridesmaids' makeup, my mother's, and my mother-in-law's. 7 people in about 2 hours. Unheard of, especially because our makeup looked flawless.
