I had a gaming computer built by Norman Computers, and I supplied the parts; unfortunately, it was not up to standard. The Liquid cooler is now showing an error after being damaged by an incorrect setup. The next and far more egregious issue was the power supply with multiple power plugs not pushed in all the way. This caused numerous vital components of the computer to be damaged and need to be replaced at extra personal cost to me. While it is clear that Norman computers employees are good guys, their Attention to detail is severely lacking, and their understanding of the newest gaming hardware is behind the times. If you are doing a new build, save time and money by going through a more experienced shop or online retailer. read more

Stay away. Charged me over three times the value of the laptop for upgrades. This guy is slicker than grease. He operates by (1) getting your hardware in his hands to hold it hostage, (2) quoting you an outrageous amount for labor for whatever parts he has in stock (not the newest and best part options), and (3) completing the work as fast as he can so that you don't have time to realize how bad he is taking advantage of you in terms of cost. Do some research before you allow this person to physically hold your hardware hostage because once he has your hardware in hand, you are screwed. This guy hits you with an outrageous quote up front to see how you will react, then will start "pealing you off the ceiling" like a car dealership sales manager. read more

I do not recommend Norman Computers. My solid-state drive went out in my laptop. They charged me $200.00 for a 1Tb solid-state drive, telling me that they installed the best and fastest. Looking on the internet I couldn't find one higher than about $70.00 and that was a generation 4 gaming chip. I also had my battery replaced which they charged me $150.00 and looking on the web. They go for about $100.00 at the highest. $250.00 dollar labor to diagnose a damaged hard drive and put two parts in. I'm thinking anyone could do better going anywhere else. My external hard drive crashed containing 14 years of my life, all my kids pictures since their birth, my pictures from 14 years of my career in the military, literally so many cherished memories. Everyone I talked to said it was a lost cause, except for Mark and his team! I busted the screen on my laptop and needed it fixed quickly for work. Unfortunately, the replacement screen was coming from China and would take almost 4 weeks to arrive. They pulled my project files off my laptop let me borrow a "loaner" laptop while waiting for my new screen to arrive!!! I've never heard of a computer store giving out a loaner! It really saved my job! Good thing they let me use the loaner laptop because the Chinese sent the wrong screen and it had to be shipped again. What a mess! The guys at Norman Computers took care of everything for me, and at no extra charge! The correct screen finally arrived and they replaced it over night so I could pick up my laptop the next morning. I have had the worst possible service provided by Norman Computers. I put my laptop in their shop to replace a $15 power source and ended up paying them to replace several other parts they messed up attempting to change the power plug. After paying them over $500 the computer did not work and had colored lines flashing across the entire screen. Only after threatening to sue them, did they agree to replace my computer with the exact model. They did not do that. What should of taken a few days turned into 6 weeks. They bought an old, cheaper model with half the hard drive space that my computer had, the plug for earphones is broken and if you touch the screen or close the laptop, the screen becomes blurry and distorted. The laptop was filthy, covered in dust, animal hair and had sticky goo stuck all over they keyboard.I have had nothing but rude, unprofessional replies from the management who lied and blamed it all on me that they could not fix it. I would not recommend them to touch anyone's computer if you ever want it to work again! read more
