My Nephew and I both purchased a Ford Focus in 2013. Both of our cars had transmission problems that Ford knew about but still sold the cars on the market (quietly). After my car was in for "repairs" for about 20 times from the second week I owned it, the car became unsafe for me to drive with the transmission cutting out when I climbed everyday streets or tried to accelerate onto the freeway with the car shutting down and emergency notices popping up saying "Transmission failure, pull over when safe!". I decided to let Norman Taylor and his associates take the case into litigation. I do not know what magic they pulled out of their sleeves, but within a month Ford agreed to pay the total amount of my car of my purchased price, less milage, plus the interest on my loan, and all attorneys fees. Everyone at Norman Taylor, from the receptionist on up was so polite and reassuring while I was so angry. They were amazing at handling my anger and got results. The kicker is that since they got the car bought back as a lemon, Ford could not sell the car without disclosing that is was a lemon as explained to me by Nick. I was their client back in 2016! I had a Ford Focus that was having transmission issues. I went to ford numerous times about the issue and unfortunately ford didn't want to do anything but offer me $5k to fix my transmission. So I reached out to this firm and they took on my case. They sent out a demand letter in October and I didn't hear anything from them up until December. They told me that ford was willing to offer me $4k to fix my transmission which was less than they originally offered me without Norman Taylor. I spoke on the phone with one of the associates and they were EXTREMELY RUDE! They are completely unprofessional morons over there and I definitely would not recommend their services to anyone. Furthermore, I hired Aaron Fhima from Neale and Fhima and he was AMAZING! Not only was he able to settle my case with ford in shorter of a time than Norman Taylor, I was able to get ALL OF MY MONEY BACK from the car plus more! This review is long overdue and going on my 2nd vehicle they took care of me on I don't have the words to explain how awesome these guys are. Let's just start with their knowledge. I was assigned to Nick who was my case manager in the beginning on both of my vehicles he was on point with explaining everything to me very thorough and best of all he delivered on both vehicles. I had a pair of Dodge plumbing trucks that were just given me problems over the years. never decided to get rid of them because I was too attached to them as they were making me money at the time but soon as both cars started costing me money more than I was making I decided to give these guys a try. They looked at my case and asked why I waited so long. I told them I didn't care that the problems happen more than 3 times at the time it was making me money but my problems were happening once every couple of months for the last 4 years so it was long overdue Nick was on point with explaining everything to me they made sure not to just take on any case on assumptions they take on cases that are true lemons literally! They don't just take on anybody who has false claims about a vehicle and that's what I think a lot of these one star reviews are here because of !! these guys take on real legitimate cases and that's what I respect them for. If you try to force false claims with these guys go throw your case out the window. I hired Norman Taylor to help me with a few issues regarding my auto lemon/buy back. I never once spoke to the attorney in charge; I was only directed toward the intake associate and then the paralegal. They reviewed my case and then said that since there may be a case of "fraud" on behalf of the parties involved, that it may also not be the case and would still take it on- I felt confident with them because they said that they can do it. They sent a demand on my behalf to the dealership and auto manufacturer, more than 2 months or had passed by from the date they sent the demand out in which they gave the auto gallery 30 days to respond. After waiting the 30 days I started chasing Norman Taylor's office to get answers and follow up. They kept waiting and waiting and not being pro active until finally, the companies responded. After the manufacturer and dealer denied the demand, Norman Taylor and associates attitude went from yes, we will work on your case to "no, we can't work on your case " after the demand was rejected. The attorneys staff had mentioned to me initially that this may not be the right type of case for them but they still went ahead and represented me because they felt like something was there. After the Initial demand was rejected, they told me that can't represent me any longer and would refer me to another attorney . The main problem I had with working with them was that they should not have taken a case that they wouldn't move forward with if not a favorable response to the demand. Thank you, Norman Taylor and Associates! We were having repeated serious problems with a Class C RV, still under warranty, which the dealer and manufacturer had little interest or skill in fixing correctly, not the first, second, or third time, and we had no ability in motivating them, we yelled, cajoled, and pleaded. The manufacturer's rep promised that a tech would return calls, but didn't happen; she even got angry at me for complaining that my calls were not returned. Our RV spent many weeks in the shop, virtually a full year of disabling coach problems Finally decided to seek professional help and after web searches and calls chose Norman Taylor. Jason asked for a chronology of the issues and work orders to review. He explained the legal process, different ways that a claim may go, and possible costs. After Norman Taylor had reviewed the issues Jason told us that we indeed had a good case. I don't do well with legal stress but was even more fed up with the stress of motivating the RV folks. Nick and Laura took over the final paperwork. Initial review time took a couple months and from claim submittal to the RV manufacturer to the final settlement another couple months. Not long. We were very pleased and accepted the settlement, no further legal proceedings needed. The settlement compensated us for our time and frustration and should cover future related problems with the RV. The staff was extremely professional and always gave me a step-by-step account of what was happening and what would happen next.
