We came to Bill with a Lemon Law case involving my niece's Toyota. After listening carefully to our situation, he was upfront that his firm likely couldn't take the case due to two factors: negative equity rolled into the original deal, and the fact that Toyota had already made a direct offer to my niece before she contacted an attorney. Both issues would make it difficult for attorney fees to qualify as "reasonably incurred" under the Lemon Law; meaning either Bill or my niece could be stuck with the bill. He didn't have to take the time to explain all of that. He did anyway, clearly and without any pressure.
